Hi, rubbish day for me, too tired to achieve anything. Took hours to go to sleep last night and woken by Fomo at about 5:30. I did go outside for about 5 minutes and shuffle some garden bits closer to the path to help with moving. So fed up with that now. Got no enthusiasm for it at all. Put the seat back on the bench. Didn't know until the seat was off it has a million staples, so can't recover yet as my stapler is in a box. All I have managed to do is eat and crochet.
Mrs SD, the crochet is a lap blanket, I can't remember if it's my third or fourth this month. They are for happy Kitties charity work. I think these are destined for an old folks home in the Ukraine. The grey and cream is destined to be a blanket for us but I could very well change my mind. You know how fickle I am.
Had a lovely time at the pics and hilariously we couldn't find the car afterwards in the multistory.
Charlies tribe, I am very sorry to hear about your Uncle. XXX
Suzeesu, very apt that you have google eyes. I very often have them too.

Evening, been reading along and started to post but I think I never finished them.
Mrs SD wonderful supportive cheer leading and everyone doing so much.
Happy Kitties I'm always inspired by your generosity.
@suzeesu2000 congrats on the digital decluttering - something I keep putting off.
Managed to charge the spare mobile and after hours got the software updated, some phone calls to S******** who were helpful but told me v old and checked online as 2020 it doesn't have security so decided to order a new one - found a graded one which I think means a return but still had manufacturer warranty for much less.
A lesson not to keep things justin..... luckily I go for quite cheap mobiles, but an earlier lesson about cheap repairs!
Going to see DD1's flat (Wed) and packed her a pretty jug which can be used a vase, a plant holder and 2 small wooden hangers.
Mrs SD good idea, I had started putting phone cables and plugs in a couple of drawers and keep finding more, but I and putting sd cards in a drawer ready to go through.
will count things as they go out, so only paper and random plastic and other bits.
listed a few small things, and if I sell a couple of things will get a bag for the CS together.
Just realised what I stood on - hanger, not broken and in the bin.

TC77, I did too, that’s why it’s taken me 3 entire days to deal with it. Going to try to make it a monthly thing or maybe even do it properly in the first place. Apart from a very few documents, I scan everything, file it in date order in its proper file and then shred the original. But I got super lazy and didn’t do any scanning since December 2024. I definitely won’t make that mistake again. Put some good music on and do it at your own pace. xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Monday continued: DH had a vegetable stir fry for his dinner. Rather than making mash to go with the beef in gravy & green beans, I boiled some new potatoes for DSis & me. Wudupa.

Afternoon everyone
I decluttered myself off to Canada for 2 weeks with DD2 and her bf; we had the most amazing time with stunning scenery, lovely friendly locals and the weather was gloriousIt's been top of my life list so I have now ticked that off. I do hope to go back to another part of the country one day though...
I came home on Sunday eve and would now like to declutter jetlag

purplevamp, welcome aboard the EDT (Electronic Decluttering Train) 👋 So lovely to learn a bit more about you ☺️ Thank you for sharing such a great & fun idea 👏 only decision needed is what tasks to include (which can be easily changed once completed), then a quick spin & away you go 🥳 Some excellent decluttering 👏 I also noticed your other challenges & would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on how well you are doing on your mortgage decluttering 🥳🤩 reducing not only the amount but also the term 👏 I look forward to following your decluttering journey ☺️I didn't think it would be this much. but as it is, we've had one viewing and reduced our price, so will probably end up staying. I really wanted a little bungalow...
I've listed some things on Ebay today so will see how well they do. Repotted a lemon tree into a larger pot so it can grow bigger. This was grown from a pip and I really didn't think it would grow, but it did. It's only about a foot at the moment.

I grew up near Niagara Falls but lived in Toronto and Vancouver as well as some other smaller places before moving here in '94.
We flew to Calgary and travelled through the Rockies (stayed at Canmore nr Banff) then went to Kamploops, Whistler and ended up in Vancouver. If I was younger, I'd like to emigrate there, such a lovely country and friendly Canadians. Not sure I'd cope with below zero temperatures though.
I'd like to visit the East Coast next time.
