Hi Chums up with the sun this morning and the first line of washing out by 08.30 am the second boil wash of whites put on and by the time it was done it too was decluttered to the washing line as the first lot was dry Its very warm here today .
My DD and DGS Ben have gone swimming down at Yaverland just outside Sandown so I am quite happy to be indoors in the cool with the dogs i'll have a walk down to the beach later when its a bit cooler.
Half an hour hand stitching and the towel is hemmed and sewn and looking good, another job ticked off my to-do list and put on the been-done one
Now its feet up and a cuppa and a read of my library book for an hour.then i'll check the washing as its so warm I don't want the bath towels fried
According to the forecast we have 10 more days of dry weather so the holiday makers will be pleased.
So far we have decluttered 38 ripe tomatoes from four plants. The spuds almost filled a jute bag I had so I am pleased with the crop we have had a couple of peppers of the plant, and the chilli plant is flourishing well
I must nip into Ryde tomorrow before it gets too hot I have two wedding anniversary cards to buy as both my DDs were married in August one on 13th and one on the 14th Not thankfully in the same year
Onwards and upwards chums keep cool and carry on

Thank you for the medal and DD's flowers Mrs SD. We are blessed that 4 of the 5 kids would help with anything even though they all live nowhere near us. As for the other one
hahahaha.
Sounds like you have had a lovely time just recently with your rellies Liverpool Anne, are the niece and nephew brother and sister?
Step son came,he saw ,he conquered. All is safely gathered in. 4 of the 6 dining chairs and an ikea chair in the sitting room. The dining chairs will take me an hour to cover the seats. Everything is cut out and ready to go.By hook or by crook I will fit them in that shed. Just a few bits left to bring home, tools, paint etc.
I have some very shocking news. The box of rocks has gone! For those who don't know my Mum has been asking my brother to move the wooden trunk of rocks for about 40 years. I am in shock. All the stuff for the tip, in the back garden hasn't gone.
All that remains to be packed here now is some of the kitchen cupboards and the clothes in the wardrobes. I am well ahead of schedule as we probably won't move until September.
The carpet was snapped up straight away and is long gone.
I have decided that a bed spread and some curtains I made for the last house and use in our bedroom now can go to the chazzer. I am having a different vibe at the next house.
DD's skirt is sewn. The machine would not sew the neoprene so I hand sewed it in the end.
I'm going to craft club tomorrow for a rest.

Hi all, slow but steady day today. Lr was hoovered and I cleared out some gubbins from under 1 couch. Lots of bits binned and recycled. Found £1.50 in change which went into my purse 😂, some random bits including a charger base for rechargeable batteries which we no longer have any. I had found the charger cord last week but had no idea what it was from so they have been reunited and I will probably list it on the free site and see if I can save it from landfill 😁. I will be doing under OH's couch next week so I expect a lot more gubbins from under there. The lr bin and kitchen bin were emptied and 2 LDFPA. I have left 2 more loads on the line and have 2 more waiting by the machine which will be sorted tomorrow. OH took the learner car for new tyres which should have been a half hour job but somehow they have managed to do something to the power steering and couldn't fix it straight away as they didn't know how. So I had to chauffeur OH home and OH has had to cancel lessons tomorrow and is very 😡 about the whole thing. We are hoping that they can fix it tomorrow. Also sorted out my overnight bag and put everything where it lives 😁
@Vulpix yes the dniece and dnephew are brother and sister, both belonging to my Dsis, and despite dniece living in Bequia and dnephew being technically homeless spending most of the time travelling all over the place with work and watching cricket they are quite close and speak to each other often and meet up whenever they can. Dnephew paid a surprise visit to Bequia for Dniece 's birthday this year. They both work hard and have busy lives so I am always grateful if I get a chance to see them 😁. Both are being driven to distraction by my Dsis and bil so I am going to have to make a phone call and possibly a visit before Christmas 😁.
Right still knackered so off to bed now.
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Enjoy your new job, Queen Jess.
Dizzycap, my friend has a daxy with a grass allergy. He has to wear a coat to help him when he is on walks. She has tried many things but the most effective is some cream, I think it's called stinky stuff.
VxThanks for that info vulpixMissy won't wear a coat
but I've slowly got her used to wearing socks
Unfortunately, I can't use any creams on her feet as everything I've tried makes them blister & then she ends up with an infection
Twice a day I have to use a dermy cream and coconut oil for her under carriage once she's been hibi washed & dired off, so it's a bit of a palava to get missy ready for the days action & ready for bed
She's desperate to go for a run after a month off her legs, but it's far too hot now, so the face really says it all.I'm also continuing to visit Gorda each day to give her tlc medical care, play time, silly girl games, walks when she can, and I've finally got her to eat by leaving piles of dried food & treats all over the lounge along with bowls of water all over the placeI'm delighted to say, she's wiggling & waggy tail all the time & her eyes are now full of life & eager to get living - going to go and take her to do some digging in a very shady part of the back garden tomorrow morning
I really don't know what the daxie obsession is with digging but I can only think it has somethig to do with their badger hunting nature.
Decluttering sales are going ok with not much left to sell now - I keep saying that but decluttering parcels seem never ending along with the never ending piles of washing. I went out and watered the front garden at 2.30amand have done 2 wash loads which I'm about to put out on the line. I've decided to stay up with a few mugs of coffee, sorting out paperwork, & the usual finances before I go and water the back garden as soon as daylight breaks. I'll grab another couple of hours sleep before I need to go and take a few decluttering parcels off to the PO early before it gets too hot! Plus, the PO is now only open for 2 hours each week day and 4 hours on Saturday
No wonder the RM quad lockers have been totally full for the past 3 days
In the middle of looking after 2 sick animals & keeping things clean & running as best as I can, I received very sad news that my aunty had passed away which really knocked me for six for a couple of days. I've got a mountain of appointments coming up with blood tests this morning after I've visited Gorda & got her sorted for the day before visiting again at night to get her sorted for bedtime.I'm still waiting for my new med driving license after 4 months of sending in all the paperwork & making 4 calls to see why there is such a delayApparently no decision has been made, so I've given in with it
It's getting very late so catch up at some point - Take care all & I hope everyone has a wonderful decluttering day! Ta ta for now xxxxxx

Monday: Bright sunny & hot day (already 26°C at 11:30) DH was up early to have a bath then woke me & DSis at 11:00. Whilst DH & I had a cuppa, DSis had a quick bath then a cuppa & some toast. Forecast for home was a high of 30°C, low of 16°C with humidity 50% (rose to 67% when we got home) We left 12:10 & had a good run (no traffic & no delays 🥳) arriving at 13:20 DNiece G was home with her 2 small dogs Willow 10 & Bebe 5 & her DH was at work. G gave us a tour of her lovely 2 bed bungalow with stairs to a loft room (which will eventually have shelving for proper storage of all the boxes) Small kitchen but decent sized bathroom. Patio doors out to garden which is a work in progress - very quiet area. I think it was even hotter in Kent 🥵 G made egg mayonnaise sandwiches on seeded wholemeal bread for lunch. Her DH E popped home for lunch so we got to see him for about 40 minutes. Lots of catching up with plenty of laughter + got to play with the dogs 🥹 We left at 17:10 & had an even better run home arriving exactly one hour later 🥳 We fended for ourselves for the evening - ham rolls for DSis, bowl of granola for DH & then he went out for a walk. Came back absolutely sodden as the temperature was still in the mid 20’s 🥵 I had some crackers & cheese. It drizzled on & off from about 20:15 to midnight. Wudupa.

Just realised in 6 days I am 79 posts behind. Will try to catch up but various frogs seem to be going round in circles. On the positive side some garden work completed and kitchen blinds done. On the negative side, 4 weeks after they were supposed to have started bedroom 2, there is still no sign of plasterers. Off to DD tomorrow with 3 DGCs.
With lots of help from DS2 - I changed one corner of garden into a cosy seating nook with my herbs in planters. Some clematis and honeysuckle planted. 27 bags of stones bought home in car (three trips) but they cover up the very uneven reinforced concrete very well. The adjacent garden area has some fruit bushes and my rhubarb. My plan for this year is just that one side of the garden - doing bite sized pieces and trying to use things I already had. I was going to throw planters away but they have cleaned up well. Damaged section repaired by DS2 using a veranda spindle which cost £5 but is treated wood and identical shape to that used to make the planters. I now need to clean down that side of house and repair paving. There is a large open area there now which will be great for table and chairs.
Kitchen blinds fitted so just a small amount of wood painting to do. I need to shower, get dressed and pack for tomorrow.

Sold both items listed on eBay on Saturday within 24 hours so very pleased about that. Money put towards a debt.Just about to list another item, fingers crossed this goes as quickly.REALLY warm here today. Thank Heavens for Dfriend who made our screen door for the kitchen. Means I can have the back door open and the front door open (on the chain so Frankie cant escape) and get a slight breeze through. This weather plays havoc with my asthma and arthritis so not much being done sadly. Wanted to clean a couple of places on my carpet - not dreadful but would rather nip in the bud than let it get too bad - but its going to have to wait a few more days. Will be a family tree day today I think - working on another branch, Scotland again but stuck at 1690. Using four different genealogy sites and no luck whatsoever with this chap - have his death and burial but nothing more, really frustrating. Hey-ho, we shall plod on.Have a good day everyone, keep cool!! xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
