Hi all again, thought I'd post a picture of my last cake decorating effort. I do like it but it will be heading for the bin as I have no idea what to do with it 🤣
Suggestions on a postcard 🤣
Take care everyone17 -
TC, my house is actually very small but it makes me very tidy. Everything is in it's own home, squashed in but in it's own home!
Nice to see you Liverpool Anne. happy Birthday to your OH. xxx No idea what you could do with your lovely lily decoration. I threw the sugar roses away that Mum kept from her wedding almost 70 years ago last year. I remember nibbling them when I was little after finding out they were sugar! Let's say I was a curious child!
Right up n attem. Lots to do before the footie later.

@vulpix I used to work in Southport - I live down the coast and across the river now but one of my cousins still lives there.
@TC77 when you're feeling down and demotivated take the time to do something nice for yourself. It's about improving your surroundings rather than giving yourself an underpaid part time job.
Thanks for the kitten love everyone. After a quiet day on Friday when she slept all day after her jabs she is now back up to "full steam ahead". She has a lovely temperament and even ds's friend who is allergic to cats and was prepared to be underwhelmed demanded an anti-histamine once she saw the baby so that she could do some kitten wrangling.
I'm back to the kitchen for decluttering but just did 5 on Friday and 5 yesterday so the new monthly total is 150. I'm aiming for the same again today whilst also entertaining the kitten and working on a hexi cardi for ds. I have identified the decluttering target so it shouldn't take too long.15 -
I haven't been doing any decluttering at all lately, but I have been reading along. I am going into London next week (to see Oasis!) and I'm going to make up a donation bag to take to a shop beforehand. I am going to put in a long dress that I bought from a chazzer but it takes ages to dry even in this weather so it will be too annoying in the winter months. I also have a cushion and a few other bits in mind, but I will have to have a proper sort out.2025 GOALS

Good evening all@ TC77 - I hope you're beginnign to feel better. Antibiotics are horrid at the best of times
Take it easy and do something nice for yourself, even if its sitting in the garden for the whole morning whilst pampering yourself and ignoring anything decluttering xxxxxx I had to take a strong course of antis last week ad I was ok until I finished the course and them they hit me like a cement mixer
I've been beyond tired and slept like a donkey for 2 days.
What's been happening in the crazy decluttering world?I really had to push myself today to clean up in the garden & water what really needed doing. I've done the usual HH clean & clear up tonight and also put the HH wheelie bin back out & it will stay outside until it's been emptied as it was missed for decluttering on Friday, so reported and should be decluttered in ghe next 2 days! I've not even taken babyface out in the stroller today and we always like a walk before we go to bed; not that Missy seems to be bothered with going out, more like, let me eat everything in sight which she has, but I'll be stopping that tomorrow as she looks like a fat pot bellied pig ready to be roasted DSomeones feeling better prancing about being into and doing everything. She's been the Queen of the Crazies all day!
Washing machine is fully loaded with Missy's bedding ready to take up 3 washing lines tomorrow morningTold you, the house has been an animal hospital for over 2 weeks with visitors being politely banned. Although it's been fab today as Missy decided to go and raid her toy box pulling out every toy which are now scattered all over the house like an explosion in toy'r'us!
Guess who will have piles of fluffy toys to wash in the next couple of days? Can't wait to hang that lot out on the washing line! The neighbours will defiinately think I've totally lost it
Ooo it's getting late & I must have another coffee before pottering off to bed. Take care all & ta-ta for now xxxxx

@Liverpool_Anne - could you offer it to a local nursing home to top their cakes for birthdays and such?

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday: A mainly overcast day with a high of 21°C, low of 16°C & humidity 48% although it didn’t rain. DH was a busy bee - zizzed food for worms & fed them, filled the bird feeders & fat cake cage. As we were expecting visitors* he then made 3 batches of orange rock cakes with me weighing out the ingredients & being in charge of the baking. After I cleaned the downstairs toilet, DH removed the broken toilet seat & fitted the new one. Whilst he was doing that I vacuumed downstairs. DH made dinner with me acting as his kitchen assistant - his signature cheesy pasta 😋 *DH’s great niece Sh & a friend were going to the O2 to see Alanis Morissette but public transport back to Kent stopped before the concert ended, so DH’s niece S & husband C were driving up, visiting us then picking up Sh & friend from the DLR station. We spent a lovely couple of hours chatting, drinking coffee machine coffees & munching on rock cakes 😋 Gave C a small tin of rock cakes as he is particularly partial to them 😉 Wudupa
