Yesterday we got rid of a large radiator and I got the wood chip behind it off of the wall. My back is saying that it needs a rest. So we went for a walk

Been busy giving new car some TLC and a little bit of sparkle here n there.. much happier with it, although I do miss my old one (have discovered she may not have been as broken as first thought.. 🤬 still, I can’t emotionally discuss that right now so it’s on the back burner!)
Have bitten the bullet and sorted through 2 suitcases of “it may fit me again one day” clothes.. sorted into charity, car boot and Vinty piles.. lots listed and already sold £30 worth today, has given me a poke to root through the wardrobes and list some more later..
A nice roastie currently in the oven, apple crumble waiting for afters, and an apple and raspberry crumble made for the freezer.. (decluttering lots of foods before they go bad)
Making lists of things to do this week (& month) as it looks to be getting busy and I like to be organised. Will confess to a couple of Vinty purchases, though using balance accrued so not so bad..
Have been reading along as per the norm, always sending hugs, spoons and congratulations to those who are needing/deserving them ☺️
Almost out of spoons for myself today.. need to pick my battles wisely before bed.. 😉
Wishing everyone as good a week as possible.. 🤗"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇15 -

Sunday: brighter than yesterday but still cloudy. High of 21°C, low of 16°C & a 75% chance of rain between 13:00 & 15:00 🤞Looking ahead it appears we are due another mini heatwave starting Wednesday. Short shower just before 14:00. Now head down in an attempt to catch up with the cheerleading 🤞
vulpix, lovely to see you back 👋 From your description of decluttering it sounds like you might only need a couple of car trips to move to your new house 😉 What a great idea to use your Mum’s house for storage & as a workshop 👏 Why am I not surprised that the “box of rocks” is still sitting in the middle of the floor 🤣 Hopefully you can get the shed packed up over the weekend 🤞
Brie, I think we will have to settle for photos only, if CRANKY doesn’t mind too much 🙏😊
Soontobeoap, sounds like you really have caught the ‘Decluttering Bug’ 😂 I am wondering if it was easier decluttering, sorting & tidying at Community Club 🤔 Although it sounds like a good way to hone your decluttering skills 😊 Please accept 💐 Excellent work eating your way through the freezer & managing to extend your meal plan past the end of June 👏
TC77, steady decluttering & a good start to your weekend decluttering 👏
daisy_1571, we went for the Black to match the kitchen - black floor, shades of grey & black work surfaces & white cupboards.
Excellent work oceanspirit 👏 Hope the repacking goes well 🤞
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 You are so well organised & an inspiration to us all 🥹 What a great result in your DS’s bedroom 🥳
Dizzycap, This “I've taken a very bold decision today to offload 50% of the remaining decluttering items I have left to sell to the local CS tomorrow. I've run out of energy to load the car today, but it's packed up ready to be loaded early tomorrow morning & dropped off as soon as the CS opens - I must say, although I feel very tired, I feel totally liberated” is absolutely brilliant 👏🤩 & worthy of a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way.
Excellent decluttering pink_fluffy_sparkles, you are definitely on a roll 👏
Lovely cheerleading CRANKY40 😊 Excellent work finishing the hexi cardigan 👏 Please can we have a picture 🙏
tiddles, a good plan to continue decluttering unneeded items on a daily basis 👏 You never know you might be inspired to declutter the odd extra item 😉
TC77, crikey DD2’s departure is coming around quickly 😬 & sorry to hear that she will be in Australia for her 21st 😢 Although what a wonderful early birthday present & an hobby you can share whatever the distance 🥹 Hopefully the frogs can wait a little longer 🤞 so that you can spend as much time as possible with DD2 prior to her departure 🥹
London_1, great news that the patio is almost finished 😊 The patio guys have worked hard to get it done so quickly in such extreme temperatures 🤩 As to the sale of the spare slabs what a brilliant result - definitely a win-win 🥳 Your DD definitely deserves a medal 🏅 which is on its way 😊 Enjoy using your new hosepipe 😊
Great post daisy_1571 ☺️ very helpful with lots of useful information but especially the list of questions 😊
TC77, you might be resigning yourself to staying in your current home for a little longer but that doesn’t mean you can’t still keep an eye out for your next home 😉 Good luck with your decluttering & dealing with frogs 🍀
charlies_tribe, what a gorgeous view & such a beautiful beach ☺️ I do hope it was that empty most of the time 😉 It sounds like you had a marvellous time 🥹 Now you just need a holiday to recover 😉😅 Belated Happy 16th Birthday to DCs 5 & 6 🎉 🎂 Shame that it rained on your washing 🙁 although I suppose it could be counted as an extra rinse 😉
diminua, now that is what I call proper forward planning 👏 Hope you have a wonderful time in Southern Italy ☺️
Excellent decluttering Dizzycap 👏 I imagine the CS were very grateful for a carload of items to sell 😊 Enjoy the tennis 🙂
Soontobeoap, hope you have a lovely time in Yarmouth ☺️ Please, please take care of your back 🙏
Now just a couple of things I missed whilst in Scotland -
suzeesu2000, I am awarding you a medal🏅 for your decluttering on 16/6/25 - large blanket & 2 bags knitted squares & crushed velvet curtains & cushion covers 👏
Happy_Kitties, going back to your post dated 15/6, I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ for 440/500 neutral items & a Gold Star ⭐️ for 254/500 general items 👏
All caught up so will post & run. Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 See you later 👋

We went to the new coffee shop P41 a couple of weeks ago in Yarmouth to get my son-in-law some of their delicious ground coffee beans .
At the hairdressers in Ryde they use them for customers, and the coffee really is excellent , not cheap but a real treat and my son-in-law Simon starts his day with fresh ground coffee and he's such a nice chap I thought he deserved a treat.
The new hose is brilliant and I've decluttered the old one as the bin men come tomorrow Its one of those stretchy ones and is really past its best and rather leaky so its off to the bin.
We had some rain over night which sort of half filled the water butts (we have two ) and i'm preserving that water for the pots and hanging baskets . The lawn can look after itself, we have two dogs, so a perfect green Wimbledon type lawn is not in the horizon at any point
Stan the greyhound, and Ted the Westie aren't too fussed about it. Although they mostly get walked on the nearby Appley beach which they love as they like to dive in and out of the waves.
I hope everyone has had a good weekend and relaxed if possible its due to get warmer again this week so DD spent most of today cleaning the three bathrooms and mopping everywhere as she says it won't get done when its 30c + so it gets done when as today its a little cooler.
We shall both sort the conservatory out tomorrow before it gets too warm, it stretches right across the back of the house and we use it as a dining room as its a good size, but as the garden is south facing it gets pretty warm rather quickly so has to be done first thing in the morning
Have a good week chums I have some more books for the CS to declutter this week
Cheers JackieO xxx

Sunday cont’d: Started raining 16:22 & can hear rumbles of thunder. Sadly only lasted about 10 minutes 🙁 Temperature went up to 22°C This afternoon I watched Despicable Me 4 - very entertaining 😊 The 2nd series of The Walking Dead: Dead City starts on Thursday, so I have recorded the 1st series to remind me what happened. Of course this means that I still only have 85% space available ☹️ The pork joint is cooking & I have prepped all the vegetables for tonight’s dinner & will start cooking soon. DH & I have done a wee bit of decluttering 😉 When we went to the Dominican Republic in January 2020, we brought back a dozen packaged coffee bags & have never got around to using them 😞 they have been out of date for 4 years - so we have emptied the coffee into the compost bucket & binned the bags & plastic packaging 1167 & 1168. DH filled the bird feeders. Dinner was delicious 😋 roast pork, roast potatoes, parsnips & carrots, cabbage, green beans, Yorkshire pudding & hm gravy. Wudupa
1169 - 1170 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
1171 - 1172 Kitchen & lr detritus- binned
MadamMim2013, sorry to hear that you are missing your old car 😢 but hopefully you will learn to love the new one 🤞Excellent work sorting out the 2 suitcases of clothes 👏 especially impressed that you have split into 3 piles - charity, car boot & Vinty 😊 Wishing you many, many more sales 🙏 Good luck decluttering the wardrobe 🍀 Enjoy your roast dinner & apple crumble 😋 I will pop round later to pick up the apple & raspberry crumble as I am sure you don’t have enough room in the freezer 😂 There is a supply of ‘spoons’ in the TLC Carriage which is always open 😊
London_1, now craving an ice cream 🍦 & the coffee sounds good 😊 The stretchy hose always seemed like a great idea but never seems to last as long as a plain ordinary hose ☹️ Yippee to enough rain to half fill the water butts 🥳 & I will keep my fingers crossed for more rain overnight 🤞Hope you have had a good weekend too 😊 Stay safe during the next heatwave 🙏
DSis & I watched all 6 episodes of Dead City so now have 87% available space on the TV Planner. Started raining about 02:30. Sleep tight everyone 😴

Fuzzy headed yesterday so did some kitchen cleaning and sorting. A few jars with dregs in emptied and washed for recycling. Got out the next few tins to uu by the end of the year so plenty of time to incorporate them into meal plan. Reading pile being kept up to date by doing a bit every day.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅10

Morning all, hope you are well and those who need it please accept my virtual ((((((((hug)))))).
I've been away for a bit and haven't really kept up on posting on any of the boards here.
My brother had a stroke and is still in hospital, I had 2 suspicious lump that appeared and had to get checked and the headspace just hasn't been great.
Lumps are nothing to worry about and brothers stroke wasn't diagnosed properly until 3 days later because they thought it was dry brain due to his alcoholism. Obviously this isn't ideal because they need to treat a stroke ASAP to aim to get mobility back, he still can't really walk and not sure that will get any better now.
Very stressful time.
I've still managed to declutter a bit but the list I had planned hasn't been updated but that's not important I suppose. It's still all heading in the right direction.
I'm working today but in between that I'm gonna sort my dining room out and order a radiator cover which is the last thing I need for this room.
I'm sure there will be something in here for me to declutter.

not checked in for ages but hoping you will forgive me as I've added pics 🤣
Life has been very stressful but feeling I'm starting to make progress now with admin and garden. Will soon be a year since fil passed away and we inherited this house and the estate to deal with...time flies.
After we sold our house we bought premium bonds and have had wins every month 🎉
Hope everyone doing ok14 -
Hi all, sorry for not posting but things have been a bit weird. The holiday was lovely but the Wi-Fi kept dropping out so I am only now catching up with posts. We got home last week and I was totally overwhelmed by the clutter after a week of living in a clear space and have done my best to regain some equilibrium but I have struggled and typically rather than motivating me it has had the opposite effect but I think I am back in gear today. There has also been an inexplicable energy dip which started with OH the moment we got home sitting on the couch eatimg crisps while I unloaded the car 🙄. I have also been stupidly upset by the death of a footballer I had never met but loved to watch play. As I said a weird couple of weeks.
Some things have been done like the washing mountain from holiday which included towels as we had a hot tub which we turned to cool to help with the heat 😁 and the several changes of clothes required 😁. And I have finished the baby blanket as the baby arrived early by emergency c section due to mum developing problems with her blood pressure and will be delivered on Wednesday, both doing well 😁. Some gardening has been tackled, the dreaded bamboo and lots of weeds took the opportunity to go for gold while I was away and I am planning to get out there when I have posted this to continue the battle as it is green bin emptying day tomorrow and want to get my monies worth by filling it 😁.
I haven't yet caught up with all the posts but I will so will say hugs to anybody who would like one
Just adding 28 things decluttered so now 943 which leaves me way behind but it is what it is 😁
Take care everyone
