Dd1 messaged me to say how I could get a much bigger house outside London to stash my many sofas, cabinets etc
I do attribute too much value to some things  or their usefulness.
I also think if I get to be very old and have to spend most of my time at home and my memory gets worse good to have some.things which trigger memories. Clearly this does apply to sofas and cabinets  or for me it doesn't.

2 more bags of wood chips removed and a rip run planned for tomorrow with some bits of furniture. Will record those once they are gone. We have now done half the room. DH is doing the lions share bless him. I would love to know who thought wood chip paper was a good idea on the ceiling!! Anyway I really hope  I lose a few pounds from the effort involved! So exciting to hear about your new house @Vulpix

Had some emails regarding some of mom's stuff back on the homestead near Niagara.  So I've picked up the task (again) of trying to find someone who would be interested in the most beautiful set of Limoges china from about 1922.  My grandfather's gift to my grandmother when they married.  I think there is enough for 12 people plus almost every possible side dish.  But it's something you can't chuck in the dishwasher so there's not much interest in it anymore.  I'd have it but the shipping costs would be horrendous.

@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger - Loving the pictures  Infact I went into a chilled out daydream for 10 minutes, so thanks for sharing. I adore Scotland and spent many a month there with a dear friend who passed away just over a year ago, so lots of lovely memories  although the picture of the steep stairs the other day had my eyes bulging out. There is absolutely no way I would be able to get up or down those now!  Showing my age and limitations 

I'm still decluttering on a daily basis with 2-3 parcels going out each day along with very early morning & late night babyface walks and adventures at the parcel locker, outdoor launderette,  and local Budgens  We've been watching the Wimbledon qualifying rounds on iPlayer in bed from 10am after all the decluttering, cleaning & gardening chores are done as I'm suppose to be resting up a little more and babyface is absolutely loving it!  Pottering off to bed now as it's getting late so toodle-pip for now - take care xxxx

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m 
3. Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

Wednesday: Better night’s sleep as I only got up a couple of times & was reading a book until I nodded off. Woke early - about 07:30 & carried on reading my book. Then woke DH up made him a coffee & a bacon sandwich. He set off about 09:30 & eventually got back 16:40. The weather was perfect - overcast but warm & no wind 🙂 He was thwarted (by closed roads & traffic) in his attempts to get photos of several old landmarks - apparently the air was blue on occasion. Especially when the signs just said ‘Find Another Route’ 😣 I had a very lazy day - finished the first book & read a second book (realising halfway through that I had read it last year 🙊) I had a fried egg sandwich for my lunch. Daisy & I had another long chat sitting outside as the weather was dry & warm with a high of 18°C I really should have caught up with the cheerleading but hey-ho the inclination wasn’t there 😂 We are having a chippy supper & the four of us are continuing to put the world to rights 😉 Nice chips & very tasty & enormous fish in batter. DH & I did a bit better tonight & only kept daisy & Mr daisy up until 23:00 😉

Moorviews, at least by vicariously taking part in the Round Britain Rally you aren’t suffering from the aches & pains 😂 I have been lucky today as I have been ‘human’ all day 😮‍💨

Still here.  Not much going on declutter wise except large amounts of money!  Annual boiler service revealed a hairline crack in a pipe plus 2 insurance renewals and annual car service have all come at once.  I have consoled myself, naturally, by ordering some new summer dresses.
