Evening all 🙂
I've been avoiding decluttering the under stairs cupboard for a week so started it yesterday and finished today as it wasn't a job my hip enjoyed. Luckily no visitors as the contents were all over the floor. I emptied and sorted two plastic boxes from the spare bedroom and used them to help sort the contents so there is more order to the cupboard although I'm now thinking I should have made a note of what is inside them as there are now six of them in there! I didn't find what I thought was there so I'll need to rethink where they are, my kitchen isn't that big.
The next two days are volunteering days so any more will need to wait, I have been carrying books around in the car so they can be dropped off on Saturday.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin16 -
Hi all, quick update as the gardener is arriving early tomorrow so need to get to bed otherwise I'll be opening the door in my pj's 😂. Trip to sm and all put away, bathroom bin emptied then into the garden and chopped some more rose, another big vase of blooms into the house, 10 cuttings planted and watered and a bag full into the green waste. My phone was telling me it needed something deleting so over a GB of stuff deleted so hopefully that will sort it for a while 😁.
Glad my little tale made so many chuckle, OH thought it was hilarious 😂. Honestly I am 70 this year but why my brain keeps telling me I a can still do these things and convinced me I am still 19 is beyond me 😂. Still only a bit of bruising so no harm done 😁.
@Dizzycap I am a bit confused about a couple of things. When you said babyface's name was on the ballot did you mean you had registered the dog as a candidate or did one of the candidates have the same name as the dog? Also what is a king egg? Is it a larger egg than normal? Sorry if I have missed your explanation previously 😁
Right off to bed now 😁
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Morning all
Another 1 hour sleep night and up again at 3am
It's been a quiet night on Animal Farm
I haven't managed to do a thing except make a mug of coffee and wipe the kitchen surfaces while waiting for the kettle to boil
Babyface woke up at 4am and popped outside before deciding she wanted her breakfast, so played chef in the kitchen while I rustled up her bowl of fresh Greek yogurt and fine sliced & diced apple
Now devoured & happily snoring away with waggy tail on her window guarding bean bag
I'm decluttering yet another Dr's appointment this morning; with another 2 appointments next week, whilst feeling & remaining deflated about anything actually getting or being resloved pain & ultimately sleep wise any time soonI have no decluttering parcels to send off today
, but have an inpost collection & declutter off to a neighbour when I finally get around to taking babyface for her morning walk. The most I'll be decluttering today is 1 appointment, taking babyface for 2 short walks, decluttering the garden & recycling wheelie bins out this evening ready for decluttering on Saturday, decluttering mugs of coffee & glasses of water in my PJ's, and possibly looking at some GB News / checking any financial changes with the 0.25% Interest rate cut; that's if I can concentrate for more than 5 minutes
@ Liverpool_Anne - One of my neighbours joked about the fact that they should have put their name on the voting forms and self selected themselves when they went to vote. I replied that my voting forms had babyface's name self-written on and selected without hesitation, which we laughed about. It seems news travelled fast at our small polling station with others deciding to self add & vote for babyface too as in their opinion, she had far more integrity & intelligence than any of the proposed candidates, which accounted for 85 voided votes & we've all had a good laugh about it since as she was certainly in the running by the end of the day!I did chuckle at the thought of you opening the door to your gardener in your PJ's - It could be far worse, you could be in mid-dress
As it's now approaching 5.30am and it's already fully light, I'm about to potter back off to bed to see if I can get at least another half an hours sleep, but I won't be holding my breath on that oneWishing everyone a very peaceful & productive decluttering day, which looks as though it's going to be nice, weather wise
Toodle pipsky for now xxxx

QueenJess, you might have had a little blip but it sounds like the new to you pillow slips will soon be in service 😊 Good luck getting your number back into negatives 🍀
Dizzycap, sorry to hear that you are still struggling to sleep 😔 I am keeping everything crossed that Mr Sandman starts visiting 🤞
sqwiffy, This “Queen Jess, I laughed about your DH being unable to see it in front of his face. Yesterday my DH said he'd had to order a new knife as his favourite one had disappeared. I then opened the drawer and said "what, this one?". Sorry if it offends any guys on here but I call it man-looking! 😆” had me in stitches 😂 Lovely cheerleading post 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 I noticed from your photo that you have a lot of remote controls 😉 Love the look of both the wooden bowl & the basket & the table is beautiful 😍 Such a shame that your council makes recycling so difficult 😔 After reading your comments, I decided to check & make sure that I haven’t been inadvertently recycling incorrect items 😥 Fortunately I was OK 😮💨
Lovely post Dizzycap 😊 Sorry to hear about another broken night’s sleep 😔 Hopefully you managed to get another couple of hours sleep after such a busy early morning 🙏
Happy_Kitties, I loved This “As the pain physio said recently, ‘when you really want me, you won’t need me, and when you need me, most people don’t want me!’ That just about finished off my brain right at the start, and i love the research challenges he gives me and his approaches…..” reminded me of Nanny McPhee 😂 Excellent decluttering & great work on the neutral items 👏
Still way behind ☹️ so will try harder when I get up. Sleep tight 😴

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger; Thank you very much for our medals.
The garage is my problem area; DH feels that he needs everything in there but I disagree! I tend to leave him to it nowadays and occasionally mention that it would lighten the load for our two children if he cleared a few more things16 -
Hello and morning Peeps,
I have finally arrived on the last page. I have been keeping up with everyone and their journey it has taken me weeks to actually get up to date.
RL still going on with parents and keeping at moving/decluttering from our house. The extension is still not started but we have a deadline to get some done and probably need the plans readjusting yet again. I think I may have FOMO
I'm hoping to do another car boot again tomorrow and get DH's van emptied. I have been finding more items to get in there ready and got a few items from parents apartment.
Hoping to be getting more time in here being able to report of some successes big or small
Have a good weekend and enjoy the sun before it totally gets blocked out.

Morning all, I’ve been reading along as usual and loving all that you get up to. You all seem to do sooo much!I’ve been away visiting an old friend for the past four days and while I had a great time with her and her DH, the highlight of the week was walking through the front door last night and my house was TIDY😁
DS2, here on his own, had even managed to wash dishes and keep the worktops clean - wonders will never cease!
The only thing I’m planning on declutterring today is my library book in the garden this afternoon. Have a lovely day everyone!15 -
Just a quick post to show you the 2 very healthy King bruisers
with not another egg in sight ready to hatch; as expected, who've both had their morning sun & a very large seed mix breakfast & drink before they went for their much needed morning growing sleep under mums wing
Dad is presently no where to be seen - Typical!
Perfection in Motion!
Back to feeding again at lunchtime & this evening, although I'm hoping dad will get them briefly on the river at some point this afternoon - Babyface loves them!

I had a phone call at 9am to be told that a SA member had died - she was in Church on Sunday but was the wonderful age of 95.
I found that buses were back to their usual route when I went to the dentist this morning. I knew that I had one cavity but I am booked to have 4 fillings!
I called in at SA on my way home. I went to the dentist on my own so went out with Mr F after our meal.
We took a bag of donations to the charity shop and got the local paper.
Very breezy here today but lots of sunshine.
I popped to my friend's house after our tea.
This morning I cleared my craft table and got out fabric to make tie backs for my daughter's curtains.
