We had a long lie in yesterday morning.
Granddaughter called here with her second pair of trousers - broken zip! She bought the 2 pairs of trousers to wear while she did her PGCE and placements. They must have been using a faulty batch of zips or cheap ones. A friend of hers bought the same trousers and had a problem with the zip.
So now I have another huge frog.
Granddaughter for the dreaded zip job - brought me a 3 pack of Turkish Deligh. and a bag of Liquorice Allsorts when she collected the first pair of trousers - didn't bring the second frog along as she said - I wanted nannie to be free of trauma for a while.
We fed the birds on the way into town - there is always leftover bread at SA.
A few shops were open - I just really wanted to get Mr F out of the house for air and exercise. It was too chilly to walk along the seafront yesterday. Mr F had his Tribly and gloves on as he has Raynauds disease.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hi all, a busy day today 😁. Parcel and card from stash posted, 19 items taken to the cs, I went to b00ts to try to recycle some blister packs as I was going to buy a birthday present, I had scanned and had 30 accepted but when I got there they had disappeared from my app. Nobody in the shop could explain why so they have come home with me to be rescanned and I will try another time. Luckily I already had enough points to get what I wanted anyway. On the way home I went into the sm to pick up what I need for cake decorating tomorrow but no roll out icing so I will have to call in a different sm on my way in the morning. After tea I did a session of ironing as I had got 2 LDFPA 😁.
Tomorrow I will be busy but out of the house all day. Cake decorating in the morning then the dentist, then call to OH's house as I am in the area, then meeting a couple of ex colleagues for a coffee when they finish work so I won't get much decluttering done although I have got some plastic wallets to pass to them from sorting out a a few files 😁.
Once again I am struggling to keep my eyes open so I am off to bed
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Tuesday is a slightly brighter day with a high of 16°C & a low of 6°C - but still feels cold due to the chilly breeze. None of us have done anything today as all of us have been feeling a bit ‘bleugh’ Dinner was various items from the freezer: pasta shells with bolognaise sauce for DSis, cheesy pasta for DH & pea & ham linguine for me. Wudupa.

Excellent work in the garden Liverpool_Anne 👏 Nice to hear that you filled your house with rose blooms rather than throwing them away ☺️ Hopefully you got the internet working properly on Monday & you managed to get the frog completed 🤞
TC77, re This “Mrs SD just looking at your many awards and Mr SDs and thinking your DSis should have one for making the final decision about France and closing accounts perhaps.” I agree & having been so remiss I am awarding her a Gold Star ☺️ ‘Project Duvet Cover’ might take a while to happen but it is something to look forward to as your house gets even cleaner & tidier as you continue your decluttering journey 😊 Good luck with the frogs 🍀
Excellent decluttering in the garden Soontobeoap 👏 & great work making cards with the decluttering of offcuts as well 👏 As you have passed the halfway mark towards your 52 bag target, I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️- congratulations 🥳
Lovely picture florianatwobob 😻 what a glorious looking day ☺️
QueenJess, thank you for my awards ☺️ Excellent decluttering & wll done on reducing your nett figure to +11 👏🥳Everything crossed that your parents brought little to no ‘stuff’ when they visited on Monday 🤞🙏
vulpix, absolutely brilliant crafting
What a lucky local CS when you drop off the bag of baby knits ☺️ Well done on sewing up the jumpers ready for Wednesday’s visit to see your DS, DiL & DGS 👏 Sorry to hear about your DiL’s Mum 😔 Hope your ‘book’ is well received & that your 2nd writing homework goes well 🤞 How about perspicacity as a random word 😂
Brie, not really going in the wrong direction as the roofing felt & nails will be used 😊 & it sounds like you have projects planned to use up the photo frames 😊 which you are more likely to do now you have a selection of frames 😉
GrannyKate, very relieved to hear that the concussion has finally gone 😥 Please, please be more careful in future 🙏 Great news that the builder has done such a good job & that the cost was slightly cheaper than the estimate 🥳 Excellent work painting the kitchen walls & great decluttering 👏 Hopefully the kitchen fitter won’t take too long putting up the cupboards & fitting the work surfaces 🤞 Good luck with the computer work 🍀 Very kind of DS2 & his partner to provide meals & do you’re washing 💐 🏅
Just noticed the time so I am off to bed & will catch up with the cheerleading later today. Sleep tight 😴

Prompted by a visit to the Oxfam charity shop last week I've managed to get DH to go through our LPs in the garage and he's now taken most of them to the same charity shop. Funnily enough, the man there said they weren't accepting donations yesterday but he obviously felt sorry for DH and made an exception! I've told the children they can fight over the remainder at some point, including my original copy of Abbey Road
I've also decluttered some large cardboard boxes and found room in the wardrobe for 2 newly washed winter coats and one jacket.
Slowly but surely gets you there!16 -
Mrs SD hope you get a good sleep.
Nothing out yesterday and trying not to be over whelmed by the quantity of things in my house. Have estate agent round this pm although accepted move more likely to be in a couple of years.
Have started electronic declutter on laptop - empty folders and same thing in lots of areas. Debating how I count as it is clutter - but maybe 1 per 10 minutes or similar.
still have problems with the washing machine following kitchen tap being replaced.... chased up and hopefully tomorrow evening may be sorted!
Hug cupboard is automatically replenished and accessible from anywhere and everywhere.

I love that we went from a bucket of hugs and now theres so many we need a cupboard! Unlike charity shops we will never have a 'not taking taking donations' sign on it so it should always be full 🤗 😘

Here we are again!Having woken up at 4am to a group of still hungry foxes, I decided to do 2 loads of washing, hoover, and give babyface a bath in the kitchen sink, which she absolutely loved!
2 loads of washing all put on the line by 6am and back to bed we go with babyface having her electric blanket on as she was still damp from her sink shower. We got up again at 7.30am as babyface wanted her breakfast & I needed a lovely large mug of fresh coffee
No sooner had I switched my phone off of silent than I had 3 decluttering sales, so packed those up after decluttering my coffee and off we went to the delivery office at 8.30am to declutter the parcels. Neighbour sent me 3 emails for inpost collections while we were out, so that was handy as I was right next to the inpost lockers and it gave babyface a chance to speak to the auto washers - Don't ask!
Neighbours parcels decluttered off on the way back and then I thought we'd have a nice sit in the garden while I decluttered another mug of coffee with babyface basking in the morning sun on my lap, until she saw bully Burty on her ramp and the tranquil peace was all but over in a flash as she bolted down her ramps with pigeon feathers flying all over and she certainly had a lot to say!
We've spent another 30 minutes pottering about in the garden and finishing everything off for the week, except mowing the lawn which might or might not happen this week. New neighbours are settling in well and he was out cutting the front hedge this morning with one of their dogs Charlie; half Daxie, telling him exactly how to do it!
Babyface was not amused by all the yaking, giving one very sharp bark of total annoyance, and it's been silent ever since!
I've decluttered another Dr.s appointment this morning which seem to be never ending at the moment
Sleep is very hit and miss at the moment and I'm feeling very fatigued to say the least, but I need to keep doing a little to keep sane!
I'm now off to rest for a couple of hours as I keep falling asleep at the computer
Catch up later - ta-de-toodle-pip for now xxxx

@Dizzycap just a suggestion that might help but has anyone recommended a pain management course to you and about the ‘Spoon’ theory?I admit the first pain management course I did was very medical model doctor approach, the second more patient led and great fun in some areas. They were a few years ago now, they can do nothing more for me so I’m under a pain physio. I hope I’m not offending but just saying there are options to help you with pain and the management of pain.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
