@Florenceem consider yourself waved at as you passed. We also took a wander up to Whitstable Castle for coffee and cake which was also lovely.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Good evening. Busy weekend here. DH has been digging the garden all weekend and I've been working through our bedroom as its always the dumping ground. I have things ready to leave but nothing has actually gone yet.
It's been really cool here today so id saved the washing for tomorrow when its a bit warmer and DS1 and DD3 have both just been to ask for trousers for tomorrow so now waiting for the washer to finish. They both have more but can't find them.
Will hopefully have a list to update with tomorrow.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

@Florenceem - your story about cutting up old catalogues as a child brought back such happy memories! My sister, cousins and I used to cut the models and furniture pictures out and pretend to furnish a house. This was in the early 70's before mobile phones and computer games when you made your own entertainment. Thanks so much for reminding me! xFlorenceem said:regnbue - I loved cutting out paper dolls and their clothes too. My mum got old catalogues from a neighbour and my sister and I spent hours cutting out beds and making slits for the figures to lie down.15 -
Popping in to add 5, item sold and packaged ( yet to go out) , plastic bit to screw blender to the wall which I'll never do, hairband and small bits of debris as cleaning up all binned. Tidying some bedding away although abit premature putting winter duvet away, couple of hours working on a difficult frog.
Have been reading along but have forgotten who said what except @grannyKate glad to hear your head is healing , builder doing well and sox enjoying life .

Just remembered some email frogs I should have done so will try and make a note.

@Florenceem - we even drew our own paper dolls. Loved making our own. I think I even have some of them in a folder. We made up very complicated stories too, especially for when we traveled by car. Always thought my sister would be a writer when she grew up. She had all A's on her writings and won several awards in school - but has admitted to me that she hasn't done any writing since leaving the university.15

Good evening all
A very coldish day and I've finally surfaced again after several hours of catch up sleep
WOW loads of decluttering and other things going on
Sending hugs to all those suffering & in need of some TCL
@ CRANKY40 - You had me laughing my head off with: "I was just watching a youtube video of a cat using talking buttons (they were originally bought for a dog) and I thought "I bet babyface could do that".. Then I had another thought which was the next news bulletin after babyface being taught to use those would be "Daxie now in charge of 10 Downing Street" 😁" Be very careful!
I can see Daxi Queen in charge of Downing Street -
Strutting in, saying it exactly like it is while pushing a couple of
talking buttons, and then strutting out again!

@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger -

@ "Dizzycap, very pleased to hear that you
managed to get a bit more sleep 😊 Babyface is so lucky to have you as
her butler, housekeeper, chef & nurse all rolled into one 😉 &
now she has your neighbour as her builder & chief tester 😅" No, not
me over the weekend but 'Nanny' I know when to let go and pamper myself
with sleep & food while others run around
The olympic pool is
presently empty because the temperature has dropped considerably here,
so it's in the shed waiting for it's next adventure sometime after this
week, as it appears that it's going to be cold with hight winds for most
of the week here
Back to jumpers & heating, no doubt!
Just as
well I've decluttered all my clothes and can just reach into the
wardrobe and take out what I need for the all season UK months
Babyface is loving her new ramps but started weighing up how she could
use the top one to fruit-loops run & fly herself into her pool,
which is another reason why the pool is back in the shed for now - Never
a dull moment at crazy animal farm
@ florianatwobob - Thanks for the wonderful relaxing picture. What a great way to declutter some time with good mental health activities
@ Liverpool_Anne - Well done with the rose bush chopping & decluttering in vases
I'm sure that it will do it the world of good, but as it had to be done anyway
I had to laugh at the sweary swearing at the internet. Why is it , that it always drops when you really need it?
@ Soontobeoap - "I can't keep up with this train" - Welcome to the club, me neither!
Talking of which I've finished page 316 & now I'm in great need of a mug of coffee before I hopefully manage to go back to bed for another few hours
Wishing everyone a very peaceful & well rested night
Hugs to all & ta-ta for now xxxxxEDIT: Decluttering still ongoing here as usual with the HH basics and decluttering sales & new listings. 6 decluttering parcels to go in the morning, although I'm taking them around the corner to send from the delivery office as RM have decided in their lack of wisdom, to charge an extra 30p per parcel to collect, not on my watch!
I would have swallowed 30p per collection, but then my parcel collections are perhaps a little large at times!
Thinking of going out for a stroll with babyface after my coffee as I've only really pottered out in the garden for about 20 minutes today in my PJ's and my legs feel restless

Hi all, cold and breezy here today but warm when the sun came past the clouds 😁.
Another big chunk of the rose chopped today. I filled a big rose bowl for ln to have the benefit of the blooms and another 15 cuttings planted 😁. Contacted the gardener who has been putting me back for a couple of weeks but he has said he will come on Friday morning so fingers crossed he arrived 😁. The bedroom recycling was emptied and 12 jam jars passed to ln for the jam making friend. I also passed her 10 red gingham cloth jar toppers that I had found and realised that as I hadn't used them for years it was unlikely I will use them in the near future so they might as well go to someone who will use them. She usually uses pretty paper ones.
I didn't get to the post box to post the card but as I have to go to the post office tomorrow with the parcel I"'ll take it then. I also didn't get anywhere with the frog so another job on my list for tomorrow 😁.
OH has been extremely tired for the past couple of days and I am getting a bit concerned about the length of time spent sleeping, luckily not working over the holiday weekend.
@Vulpix it sounds like you are starting to enjoy your writing, well done on getting your homework done 😁.
Right I am off to bed as I am falling asleep now 😁
Hugs to everyone who would like one
604 chunk of rose sorted
605 - 616 jam jars

- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Back again. I have resisted the temptation to turn the heating on & instead have just wrapped up warm which led to me falling asleep 🙊 & only waking up at 18:45 😥 Discovered that DH had been so cold that he went to bed & fell asleep 😂 Started to gather ingredients together for my go to quick meal - linguine in a creamy bacon & pea sauce only to discover that I had no peas 😕 However I did have a bag of mixed vegetables so DH & I spent 15 minutes picking out the peas 😅 DH took a day off from his walking. DSis saw the woodpecker again 😊 Wudupa
797 - 798 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
799 Kitchen detritus binned

Florenceem, you would think that the doctor would explain about the difference between the 2 scans 🤨 - I was curious so looked up both. How lovely to see two of your daughters & a granddaughter on Saturday ☺️
Lovely to see you regnbue 👋 You can let us know if the Japanese bullet train is as fast as the EDT 😉 Excellent & eclectic decluttering, well on the way to another award 👏
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 I will avail myself of a hug 🤗 from your “Hug Cupboard” ☺️
Just noticed the time so am off to bed. Sleep tight 😴

Am very behind on reading thread but did spot that charlies_tribe has been successful in adopting DD3 friend. That's great news and such a lovely thing for you to do.
Decluttering has been slow recently as lots of messing around with medical appointments and family stuff. The family stuff, as always, is a storm in a teacup but it still takes up time and energy.
A few things have gone out - more papers, more food uu and 3 clothing items for CS.
3 more books all addressed to OH have come in just this week. He assures me others have gone out to CS.
There is a big mess to clean up in the living room due to work next door. If they had warned me it could happen I would have moved things out of there and put dust sheets up. So lots of cleaning in my future plus emails to various people to let them know I am not happy.
Mrs SD, OH says thank you for his medal.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16 -

Did I tell you that babyface's full name was on our recent local election ballot forms? Well it certainly was by the time I'd finished and I certainly wasn't the only one who had decided she'd do a great job either
I'm just waiting for the local councilor/council to start hunting down this new unknown up & coming candidate, especially as her full name is very posh!

Loads of decluttering taking place today with th eusual HH bin clearing, washing & kitchen spray over & down. Decluttered 9 parcels off to the local RM delivery office, cluttered up on 4 inpost collections & some shopping for my elderly neighbour all of which were decluttered off on the way back
Babyface has decluttered a large breakfast this morning and has been cluttering up on extra sleep before I take her for her morning walk once I've decluttered a coffee
Wishing everyone a fabulous day, although my jumpers are back on along with my thick Winter jeans
