Hi all. Many thanks to everyone for their good wishes following my fall. I am pleased to say I am mostly over it although bending down and shaking my head still bring echoes of the pain. I washed my hair gently with some mild shower gel which felt nice but cancelled my hair appointment. Kitchen has come to halt for a few days as they are not putting units in until next week but builders have finished. New flooring looks lovely. Trying to paint the walls before fitters come. Sox has spent the week 'assisting' the builders ie lying on the flooring as they were putting it in and miaowing for doors and windows to be opened. He is loving being an outside cat in this sunshine but likes to keep going in and out. He likes to climb and greets you at the front porch miaowing from the garage roof.
438 Plumbing bill paid
439 Random bricks left around garden used up to repair outside kitchen wall
440 Random pieces of concrete from round garden put in skip. It is quite full and should be collected this week
441 Large broken flower pot which I couldn't lift broken up and put in skip by builders
442 E mails decluttered
443 Committee papers decluttered
444 Kitchen mug smashed in bathroom sink (Having to wash up in there) suspect is small furry and grey and doesn't like things on windowsills
445 Train tickets purchased for Edinburgh in June
446 Dozen or so very small plastic storage pots to DIL - she will use or put in CS bag

Evening all@ vulpix - Nice to hear that you're getting viewings and looking to move to a more beneficial area that doesn't require car usage for you to access the things you need
I really hope that you find something that you like
@ Muddy_Walker - Laughing at I am having a hair cut tomorrow and Rogan is booked in Sat. He looks like a yeti…..& 2 daxies a couple of doors away from me and they always shout at me to say hello and have a fuss! The 'Which Daxie can make the most noise to get attention Competion'
I hoope your DH gets his irregular heartbeat sorted out asap. If you become very concerned, ambulance and paramedics will hopefully catch the irregularity on their heart monitor graph and suggest a course of action.
A very busy day on Animal FarmBabyface is doing ok although I've changed her anibiotics to night taking rather than day taking due to the hot weather. She's been very interested in watching me seal her new ramps and new exactly what I said when I told her what they were. She wasn't amused and proceed to potter off & lay and morning sunbath on the top one with the look of ' This is my ramp & I don't want it changing'
Wait until after they're fully sealed & hardened off; which never looks pretty, and I put the new grip rubber on them on Thursday with no doubt my helper prancing around proudly with the look of 'These are my new ramps' and will no doubt be telling anyone and everyone about them
Besides decluttering 5 ramp sealing coats there's been parcel decluttering with more for tomorrow, listing and relisting of decluttered items going on along with deliveries for ramps & Iceland goodies, taking babyface for an evening walk which she really enjoyed
, and giving the garden pots a good watering this evening along with waterbaby helper. Babyface is loving being pampered by my mother or 'Nanny' as she's known to babyface
She's now got a new outdoor pet swimming pool which has been filled with water this evening ready for the heat blast on Friday @ 26+ degrees - What's the bet babyface will plonk herself in it tomorrow afternoon?
They'll just be one almighty splash and she'll be swimming away
I'm surprised my mother didn't order an outdoor towel rail to go with it!
The old one has been decluttered off to a new neighbour this evening who has 2 small dogs who make far more noise than babyface when she's on full vocal wack
The foxes have been fed but I've still not seen the cubs
I had intended to have an early night as I have to declutter 2 Dr's appointments tomorrow morning in between everything else, but I've ended up decluttering paperwork, finances & new budgeting which seems to have produced the desired effect of needing sleep even with chronic pain. Finishing off one last mug of coffee before I'll be joinging babyface in bed. Nighty night all - take care everyone & Hasta la vista!17 -
Hi all, quick update as I need an early night as we have to travel to a funeral tomorrow morning and will be up and out early. I have had to cancel the cake decorating but I have let the tutor know and she is hoping others will turn up but E is still going.
Yesterday I had a bit more energy and a few things were sorted through. The kitchen bin and kitchen recycling were emptied, I got a bag of garden weeds etc into the green bin 2 pairs of socks and a nighty were put in the rag bag, 3 towels were sorted to go to an animal shelter and a necklace into the cs bag. I won't count these until they leave the house
Today I changed the bed and got the washing started before heading out to the sm. Forgot my list but managed to get most of what we needed but I did forget bin bags so have used a plastic packaging bag in the bedroom bin 😁. All put away when I got home and then 4 LDFPA. The bedroom bin was emptied and a scented candle passed to ln. Watered all my plants in pots after tea and sorted my clothes for tomorrow with a session of ironing.
@Vulpix hope the viewings are productive 😁
Right off to bed now
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Was supposed to be working on my bedroom today to go to my sister's house tomorrow. While talking with my sister on the phone, I heard this thrashing in roommate G's bedroom and heard an awful gurgling sound. Ran in there with the phone and called 911 (our emergency number). He was lying on his back on the bed and was unresponsive at first and was bleeding at the mouth. While waiting for the paramedics, and trying to corral the cats, and take care of G, I finally was able to get Di up to help with the cats. Got G on his side like the paramedics said to do so the blood would come out, and he finally started to respond. They took him to the hospital where they said he had a seizure and had bitten his tongue (the reason for all of the blood). He will be in the hospital for at least three days. I spent the next hour or so, rearranging appointments for him and contacting his doctors.
I am still working on my room, only it is taking longer than I thought, mainly as I need to find a place to move things to so they won't be in the way. As soon as I can get to the other side of my closet and take the suitcases in there out, it will be much easier as the other stuff will go into the closet and be out of the way. Two boxes are birthday and Christmas presents (starting very early).
I did get our big item stuff out for pick-up by our trash company last night. 17 items, including two mattresses and a heavy metal screen door - by this morning only three were left for them to pick-up as the scrap people had been by. Filled two trash bins as well - recycling and regular trash. Was planning to put stuff out for people to take this weekend but it is supposed to rain with a high temperature of 14C. Was 24C today - and going to drop like a rock by Saturday. Weather is making no sense at all. May have to start putting it out on Monday and work my way through the week. This is stuff I am giving away rather than the books, etc., that I will be selling.
I hope your weather is just delightful. I've been there before in spring rains, but hopefully you will only get what your plants need.18 -
- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Two loads of washing done (including smelly internal padding from DH’s motorcycle helmet) & put on whirligig - left out overnight. Delivered an iced Bakewell Tart to neighbour J for his birthday yesterday (A tradition we started a few years ago 😊) I finished knitting the 2nd scarf - see pic
DH & DSis visit to Lewisham was successful & DSis now has paperwork to send to France for the transfer. They picked up lasagne & garlic bread for our dinner. We had Bakewell Tart for dessert. Wudupa.
770 - 771 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
772 - 773 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned
TC77, hope you enjoyed the Tai Chi 😊 Thank you for my gold medal 🥇
Brie, love the idea of Neanderthals with cluttered caves 😊
QueenJess, sorry to hear about the sore throat, hopefully honey drinks & lozenges will see it off 🤞 I am keeping absolutely everything crossed that your parents do NOT inundate you with stuff 🤞🤞
Brambling, the other way of looking at it is that people were less wasteful & perhaps unwittingly more eco friendly in some ways 🤔 I am of course ‘ignoring’ the use of coal 😉 Re This “His lordship was nearly declutterred outside at midnight last night and I keep him in overnight! The little **** decided he wanted out at 11pm and played up for a hour, being very vocal and clearing the dressing table three times. He did eventually use his litter tray which he hates and settle down whereas I clock watched all night 🙄” I do hope his lordship was on his best behaviour today & tonight 😉 Good luck with project ‘plastic containers decluttering’
QueenJess, I totally agree with your reaction to This “I read a news story earlier about authorities having the ability to impound and crush cars that are involving in fly tipping to stop people doing it.”
Oops just noticed the time so am off to bed & will finish the cheerleading tomorrow 🙂 Sleep tight 😴

Good morning. I've been reading along but not much done here.
We finally seem to be clearing the bug, DH got up with at least 10 coldsores Sunday morning. Inside his nose, inside his lips, ulcers (or maybe cold sores?) On his tongue... luckily it seems to be clearing off now. My blood results came back and im now on iron and a loading dose of vitamin D.
Monday I spent an hour at the doctors as a document hadn't been sent to SS. Finally tracked it down so Monday afternoon we were in court. That was really scary, I've never been in court before, but DD3F is now officially ours! I may have just decluttered my sanity taking on another teen 🤣
Tuesday we went to look at a new car, finally. DH has put a deposit on it and it should be ready next week. Something i want to check though before we declutter a lot of money.
Today will be clean up day. The house is a tip, the dogs need bathing, I have DGD so nothing will be straightforward with her helping, I see a very wet bathroom on the horizon.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

We watched another Margaret Rutherford film on Monday evening - Murder Ahoy. We also watched another episode of The Chosen - we are still on series 2.
I managed to complete the frog yesterday morning - I did use my sewing machine and then a bit of hand sewing to finish the dreaded invisible zip. The issue was the strange construction of the trouser waistbands.
In the afternoon we fed the birds on the way into town.
Decluttered a bag of donations at the charity shop.
Lovely day so we went on the bus to the next town and got whippy ice creams. I took a pack of baby wipes with me - my children didn't make as much mess eating an ice cream as Mr F.
We had done quite a bit of walking so sat and watched an episode of the chosen and a Noel Coward film - This Happy Breed.
