Roommate G is doing better but will be hospitalized for awhile. I've almost stopped shaking. I need to take him his charger for the phone, deflea three cats, and help out at the FamilySearch Center tonight.
@charlies_tribe - I just looked up the symptoms of Vitamin B12 deficiency and it refers to ulcers in and around the mouth. I have dry mouth, but it probably from the medications I am taking instead.
Right now all three cats are sleeping peacefully - in places where I can't get to them. They know I'm sure.

@weenancyinAmerica... so good you were there. Do not care of yourself.
CS bag dropped off and also bag to bank of things (for school children - so bags of pens/headphones etc)
Finally washed very vintage sheets and most of the orange marks (rust) have come out with the oxy poweder, Open to ideas whether I use vinager/ lemon juice to try and get spots out? alternatively I could recycle or cut up and make pillow cases or other things. Some are v heavy cotton and linen.
Carpet man came to quote and have found someone else to hopefully quote for painting front of the house.
Forgot I also put a tablecloth in the CS bag, and started a new one with a pillow case. Count each bag dropped as one so new total 765. Few frogs with GP, physio, and email for DD2 frog.
New total 769
Still not sat down to sort holiday photos!
But have reset my password for the website I store photos, and logged in and seen many photos which can be deleted but taking some off my phone before uploading!15 -
Got the flea meds on the three cats. Then started to go to the hospital to see roommate G when the doorbell rang. Lo and behold it was my two sisters, here to help with some of the housework. They ended up organizing my pantry shelves. Now at least we can see what we have. They did throw away about 5 bags of OOD foods. New wastebasket arrived from store so can clean up the bathroom too. Sisters took me out for lunch for a fish sandwich. Then went by the hospital to take his phone charger to G. Sister drove us home (she lives 30 miles away). Other sister is only 2 miles away. Getting ready to feed the cats. Then do some more cleaning in my room so I can go to bed tonight. Still have to go to the FamilySearch Center tonight. Will be going early to see if we can make the printer work. If not, we have the name of the person to call for help. All eight of the young people we are meeting there need to make a copy on the printer. Hopefully, it will work.18

Hi all, long hot day today with 5 hours in the car travelling to and from the funeral. It was in a small village in the middle of Lancashire, lots of little lanes surrounded by farmland and nearly as many tractors on the roads as cars 😁. It went as well as they do in a really lovely church followed by an excellent buffet where I chatted to some nice people I had never met before, twin brother and sister and another sister who had done all the embroidery for the church , beautiful work.
The lr bin and bedroom recycling were emptied and someone finally arrived to take one of the carpets I'd put on olio when we got home. Not much energy to do anything else though and I am falling asleep now 😁
@weenancyinAmerica well done on your first aid. Siezures can be distressing to deal with and well done on getting some things sorted. I am glad to see you got some help from your sisters rather than just the shouty bil 😁.
As my eyes are fighting to stay open I will head to bed 😁.
Hugs to everyone who would like one

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday was another gloriously sunny day with a high of 25°C & low of 9°C. Yesterday’s washing has dried, is folded & put away. DH decided today’s walk was going to incorporate 6 different numbered buses with walking in between 😉 I have listened to the Woman’s Hour Decluttering programme - nothing particularly new but I was struck by one comment about needing to differentiate between ‘nostalgia’ & ‘sentimentality’ 🤔 DH watered the plants & refilled the birds water bowls. I spent an hour or so writing & addressing birthday cards & have reached August. Dinner ordered in - burgers & fries. Wudupa.
774 - 775 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
776 - 777 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned
TC77, loving the renewed chat about how & why clutter accumulates 🙂 Excellent decluttering on Tuesday 👏 I am pleased to hear that you are doing things other than work & decluttering 😊 Hope the physio visit went well 🤞
weenancy, very practical 😊
GrannyKate, pleased to hear that you are recovering from your fall 😊 Also nice to hear that the builders have finished & that you have some time to decorate the kitchen before the fitters do their work 😊 Excelled decluttering 👏
Lovely post Dizzycap 😊 A very busy day on Tuesday & great work sorting out your paperwork 👏 Hope the doctor appointments go well & that your meds can be sorted 🙏
Oops, late again 🙊 Sleep tight 😴

More weeds decluttered, bedding washed and dried on the line. It was too nice to spend much time indoors and I enjoyed reading my book in the garden.@weenancyinAmerica - I am glad G seems to be okay and that your sisters turned up to help you.@Liverpool_Anne - a long journey to attend a funeral does make for a very tiring day. Hopefully you can chill out today.@charlies_tribe - congratulations to you and your family.@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - lovely scarves again! I can just imagine people in your local area being delighted to find hand knitted items.14

Good morning good people 😊 Don't forget to say your rabbits 😁
Exam season for Ds is done with and my car passed it's MOT yesterday so that's me destressed too.
@weenancyinAmerica - I'm glad that your sisters have turned up to help. I hope that G continues to recover. You are literally a lifesaver so thank goodness you heard him struggling. Well done on the flea meds application. Cats can be such slippery things when they think there's something on the horizon that's heading their way.
@charlies_tribe congratulations on the court outcome.
Can everyone else just have a hug from the hug bucket - there are lots more that I should mention but after yesterday's MOT experience (long story....nothing wrong with car but a lot wrong with first garage who luckily didn't touch my car) I can't remember clearly who did what and I don't want to mix you all up. 🪣<- hug bucket
Decluttering has continued this week but slowly. Saturday was the basic 5 things, Sunday was 35 (must have been in ds's room again), Monday was 5, Tuesday (exam day) nothing happened and yesrterday was 10. I'm not sure how today will go as ds has a dentist appointment this morning and a haircut appointment in the city this afternoon. I'll drive him to the dentist as it's a bit out of the way and I'm going into the city with him so we can both do a bit of holiday t-shirt shopping.
Take care all of you 😊

Love the hug bucket!
Up around 6 and listened to the women's hour declutter programme - thanks @Gers I do like stelios.did deep sweep moving furniture in kitche and dining room ( also cat beds, files etc) and mopped.table and sideboard full of things from floor so need to find time to sort. Some like with like. Washing done and think vintage sheets and edwardian apron all beautifully patched will go, make make things out of sheets but not sure what! Also found mouldy green beans in fridge and other past best food and bits of debris. Need to finish cleaning fridge. Prob tomorrow am as off to work now. Also start prep for salad I'll finish tomorrow and have my.lunch to take to work.
Stay safe in the heat and enjoy it while it's here.
