Saturday was a bright sunny day (high 17°C, low 9°C) DH watched the MotoGP qualifying races, DSis was up in her room watching TV & I dealt with my mail. DH went out in the car to pick up a couple of items from A*da which were out of stock in MrS. I did a lot of digital decluttering - tackled emails first, then tidied up or deleted bookmarks. Took ages as I am not very proficient 😂 DH went out for his walk. Dinner was pork tenderloin cut into medallions in a creamy mushroom Marsala sauce with mash & green beans. Wudupa

@Dizzycap - My roommate Di has been having trouble with cellulitis. She is a diabetic also - but usually runs around barefooted (not good in this house with three cats). I ordered her some men's slippers as she wears a larger size and needed extra room for the swelling. These slippers have a hard sole and fasten with Velcro. She has now ordered a second pair as the first pair has worked so well. She has two different colors. These have sides and a back as well as covering the toes so can double for most seasons (at least here). They are listed as indoor-outdoor slippers.17

2 packs of vegetable seeds out.
Another 6 in unfortunately.
The tall lamp and the 2 lightbulbs have been arranged to go tomorrow evening.
I've attempted to tidy the wardrobe, it still needs more sorting/tidying, but I've made a start.Decluttering campaign 2023

@weenancyinAmerica we have those slippers on the NHS, I know exactly what u mean, they are brilliant.203)-206) 4 more V sales. Really pleased as my target was 25 sales this year on another challenge, but these 4 sales have taken me to 30 on the other challenge and within these sales are bits that had taken up residence, i was almost charging them rent so pleased the ‘bitty’ bits are going to others who can use them and have been decluttered from out of the house.207) bits of packaging used up for the above.
Off out to send the parcels after a cuppa and then not sure about later. Grass needs cutting so may swing the strimmer about. When DD lived at home I was banned from using the strimmer as I am so clumsy so it has become a real luxury to use it!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Afternoon, top I was going to put in ' ask cousin' bag to cs plus a book and another item I can't recall. Counting 4 for garden as spent over an hour and also swept my front steps.
Have identified more files to go through but not as urgent as email chasers and looking out paperwork for dd1 this week. Out for a walk today and will be Wed before I can spend time declutterinf. Realise people haven't provided quotes after coming round to do so for front of house.do have carpet people coming wed to quote and measure up.

Good afternoon all and what a glorious day!@ weenancyinAmerica - I know the ones you mean and I can get these on the NHS but unfortunately, I can't wear hard soles anymore, only full anti-shocks due to my spine, hips & knees. I just went out in a pair of semi-anti-shocks for a short walk with babyface and I've come back with chronic backache and I'm totally numb down my left side including the tips of my fingers, so I know I'm in for it later when it goes cooler
Never mind, I intend to enjoy the rest of the day and have been exceedingly active since 6am this morning which is vary rare for me these days
The list of chores & decluttering I've completed so far today would usually take me the whole week to complete at a paced rate, so I'm feeling pumped & inspiredI'm now going to sit down for a while with a mug of coffee; naturally, and list decluttered items on eBy. Have auctions finishing over the next few days, so pre-packing also in progress, although my Daxie helper seems to have run out of energy and is presently snoring away on her back on her the new free sofa bed with waggy tail and the odd vocal moment
All these crazy things I do, just for her!
I hope everyone has a lovely peaceful Sunday
Ta-ta for now xxx

We walked down to a grass area to feed the birds yesterday afternoon - seagulls soon appeared.
Got a bit of shopping then headed for a bus stop and watched a bus go past.
I watched another film starring Margaret Rutherford - The Runaway Bus.
Mr F and I watched an episode of The Chosen together.
We finished off the evening by watching a Miss Marple film - Murder Most Foul.
Church this morning - I was short of helpers but soon asked people to help me.
There are loads of bags of donations outside the SA and in the foyer.
I said to C that I would go home and feed Mr F then go back and attack the piles.
I did a roast dinner which was yummy.
There was no collection of food from M & S last night because the computer system has been hacked.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Sunday: another bright sunny day with temperatures set to rise to 20°C with a low of 8°C. I watched the last episode of The Flowers in the Attic Origin Story - shocking 😳 Settling down to the cheerleading starting with Friday afternoon’s posts:
Excellent decluttering charlies_tribe 👏 I am particularly impressed that your DH managed to fill the skip with ‘stuff’ just from the shed & garden 🤩 so one Gold Star ⭐️ for him + a medal🏅 for you for a combination of dismantling the piano & helping DD3 revise for exams & keeping everyone fed & watered 👏 Sorry to hear that you have been ill & that both DH & DD1 have succumbed ☹️ Sending get well wishes & cwtches to you all 🤗
Florenceem, I do hope it is the doctor booking the chest X-ray & blood test 🤞Sending you gentle cwtches 🤗 & hopefully you got a good night’s sleep on Friday 🙏
Excellent decluttering suzeesu2000 👏 This “There are 2 of us in this house and we have a gazillion mugs!” did make me smile 😀 are you sure you aren’t my DH’s niece 😂 🤔
Lovely cheerleading Dizzycap ☺️ I am keeping everything crossed that you managed to to see the fox cubs 🤞After reading This “I've decided to ignore them for a few nights until babyface shuts it 😆 and then I'll try and sneak out the front door and go and have a look
😆 - I had visions of you dressing like a Ninja whilst babyface is asleep & having dreams of taking over the world 🤣 An excellent Friday of decluttering & task completion 👏 Brilliant news that you now only have 4 boxes of ‘stuff’ to dispose of 🥳
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Very pleased to hear that there is finally some movement reDD1’s accident 😮💨 I will keep everything crossed that a resolution isn’t too far off 🤞🙏
Great decluttering QueenJess 👏 I was too slow getting into the TLC Carriage so missed out on the Madeira cake 😞 Read the story & so pleased that Valerie the daxie is now safe & sound after her extended adventure 🥹
More excellent decluttering Dizzycap 👏 At the rate you are selling, I am amazed that you have time to do anything apart from listing & packaging items 🤩 When I read This “On a more crazy note, one of my spare bedrooms I've decided to turn into another day room. Someone listed on our local FREE cycle page a fantastic large hardly used L shaped sofa bed which sleeps 3, if needed, and has under storage space which would be perfect for my needs …….. they're going to bring it in their van tomorrow morning and in turn they needed a double bed with headboard which I have, so we're doing a swapsie. ………..I can just see Babyface doing fruit-loops and rolling about on the new sofa bed which she'll think I've got for her 😆” & my first thought was how lovely of you to sort out a room just for babyface to have her friends round for a sleepover 🤣 😂😆
Yippee, just starting the cheerleading for Saturday’s posts 🥳
Lovely post Happy_Kitties 🥹 So pleased to hear that your new GP has taken the bull by the horns & is already looking after you so well 🥹 More excellent decluttering, especially of neutral items 👏
GrannyKate, a big ouch 😩 Sorry to hear about your accident 😔 Please, please take it easy 🙏 I think you should be sitting out in the garden with Sox & enjoying the sunshine ☺️ Gorgeous flowers 💐
Dizzycap, so pleased to hear that you managed to get some sleep on Friday night 😮💨 Does that mean your GP changed your meds 🧐 I hope the new to you sofa bed was delivered on time & the old double bed went as well 🤞& preferably without babyface trying to help 😉😉 Good luck with the potting up & I hope you just pottered & also managed to have an afternoon nap 🙏
Great decluttering & sorting of paperwork TC77 👏 Good luck with the zip 🍀
Florenceem, so pleased to hear that you are taking time for yourself & watching old movies ☺️ Margaret Rutherford was a wonderful actress & like you I thoroughly enjoyed her role in Blithe Spirit 😊 I will keep an eye out for Aunt Clara but meanwhile would recommend Murder She Said 🙂 Excellent decluttering by MrF - a medal 🏅 is on it’s way to him.
Perfect place to have a rest as I am just 2 pages behind & my concentration is wavering 😉 I hope that everyone is having a lovely Sunday ☺️ See you later 👋

Decluttering galore here.
A bed that a friend has been asking me to keep has been decluttered from the garage. Finally after 2 years! It's cleared a lot of space. As it had two mattresses that were being stored in the loft so not to get damp.
Also a bin bag of clothes to the charity shop.
Hope everyone else is OK.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Post holiday decluttering taken place and DSis and I have found some bits for charity. Partly inspired by being away for nearly a week at the seaside. If only I could really survive on just the stuff I take away from it me.Suitcases back in the cupboard and washing all done too.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
