He's only uncomfortable at being caught red-pawed, 🤣, he was quite happy cavorting around shredding it when I went into the room. 😁 DxLovely to see you dND 👋 Great photo 👏 although Gino doesn’t look very comfortable 😦 Good luck with ‘Mission Declutter Health Issues’ 🍀

We watched another episode of The Chosen last night.
We also watched some bits of The 10 Commandments - the acting looked very wooden. When the film came out in 1956 - I think it was well received.
We have been to SA today - friendship/lunch club. I was sorting donations.
I am going to singing group practice this evening.
suzeesu2000 - not one for dates here. I made a quiche the other day with OOD cream, eggs, smoked mackerel, cheese and trex. No ill effects.

Hi, just on way back from visiting DD1 in Sheffield. Dropping off a part used tin of black paint and a fabric storage bag for her ex BF who is moving out soon. The weather is glorious and so is the scenery. Lots of ickle baby baa lambs.Loving the animal pics.Out, a tiny bit each of bags of SR and Plain flour. Didn’t owe me owt, had it ages and it had gone hard. Also out some foods that only Mr V has. Shame but again it doesn’t owe us owt. It has made lots of lovely space on the shelf though.More ins than outs.I have been given a charming little coffee table. I t has damage on the top. I think I will just flip the piece of wood over.I have also been given a bag of feather cushions. I will use some of my fabric stash to make covers. All the above will probably be temporary residents with me.There is a £2 chazzer at the end of DD’s road. 3 summer tops and some flat gold sandals. Again possibly only temporary residents with me.At last, it feels like I am getting back to routine after the holidays. I feel a sort out of clothes and food cupboards coming on. My garden also needs some attention.Still not sorted my laptop!

Aaargh lost my post earlier.
Did some digital dexlutter before work. Had 217 draft emails but had to check if there was one that should have been sent , now down to 70 to go through.
Thought I'd got my.email inbox down to 1.6k emails from 1.8k but then realised that's unread and I have 6.1k+ emails! Yikes

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger @Dizzycap the problem I have is I am part of the Welsh declutter gang and while I would never choose to live anywhere else, I love where I live, the healthcare is extremely very bad. My previous GP who ‘put up with me’ for 27 years who was fab has retired and the problem I have Dizzycap is that GPs don’t know about my condition. As my previous GP said, they might cover it for 30 mins in medical school and never see a patient in all of their career which has proved challenging in finding a new GP that was brave enough to take me on, or as my new one said last week ‘brave or foolish’. When I was leaving I said ‘brave and a little crazy’ as Wales funding into England aswell to get the care I need in England is a paperwork nightmare in itself for any GP as Wales don’t like it.But I am grateful for my disability (I’m all about the positive) it has allowed me to work in health and education, and when I’m living life to the full and just need patching up, I have the care. I remember getting some right rollickings from my previous GP, they also would give me homework, along with ‘what do you want, can I have, done, get out and I saw you on tv again’. He was great fun!@TC77 I hope you got one of ur frogs sorted, they are hard work aren’t they, esp when u are not in the mood!194) another item sold on V. Very happy about this as item has sat in my kitchen for a couple of years.

decluttering £££ left right and centre due to a long stay in Canada starting next month. I had initially thought that a fair portion of the expenses would be covered by my mom's estate but bros and I have agreed that's not fair as it's all our money eventually. And yes my expenses will be multiples of the others but that's the penalty of living on the wrong continent I guess.
And wondering too what to do with Easter eggs. I have finally finished mine, in that I was painting some for our art group tomorrow. But what to do with them after? Chuck them in the bin? Let them sit about collecting dust?? Sigh.
So a tawny owl, a fictional owl and a fried egg...... not really pets but that's as close as I'm getting to any this week.
edited to add - I just bought some acrylics and didn't have any brushes to use and assumed I had decluttered all the cheapy ones I had been given. I can now see one of them in the pot behind the tawny owl.....DOH!

dND said:Hi all, I am still here. 👋
I'm off to declutter a blood test today so making a start on decluttering the long term frog of my health. Stuff has been happening but my brain has gone AWOL so I'll catch up on that when I can concentrate again.
Meanwhile, I'll add to the pet photos with my not so little helper, Gino.
It's going to cost me a fortune in plastic sheets to get my house painted. 🤣
Happy St George's Day. 😁Dx@ dND Love the picture of Gino the little helperWhat an absolute cutie xx Happy St George's Day to you too & I really hope that your health issues finally get resolved
Waiting & ongoing blood tests can be so very frustrating at the best of times, especially when you don't feel anywhere near your best, but you'll get there
@ TC77 - It's terrible when you have disturbed sleep with an over active mind. I always believe that looking for a new place is a catalyst to getting a bat on with any decluttering that needs doing. It's almost as if your getting ready to actually move into a new property. I really hope things get sorted for you soon@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger - Daxies are far more human & certianly very independant & resourceful than people realise. That is, until they get ill & then they hide. With babyface it's like having a stubborn 6 year old running around on a sugar high who knows exactly what you're saying & doing and you having to constantly use reverse psychology to get her to do as she's told. It's not a lack of training, it's pure and utter stubborness of being asked/ told to do something and then making her believe that was her idea all along....Although we do have an emergency word which is 'stop' and she freezes until I tell her 'ok' . Gawd forbid I should ever use the word 'no'
Oh, the face!
TBH, I really feel as though I've done very little today. The weather changed from rain to a beautiful day, so I got all the 3 loads of washing done and dried on the line, I decluttered 5 parcels off to postie and was hoping for a day off with decluttering posting tomorrow, but decluttering sales have happened this evening so I'm off to pack them now ready to go pronto with postie tomorrow moring. I managed to take the dolly trolly to the CS with helper babyface in tow who seemed every pleased with herself prancing around the shop saying hello to everyoneI picked up a little shopping for my neighbours who very sadly lost their dog at Easter and have both been in bits for the past 3 days, as you can imagine
It was terrible popping round to see them as the house was absolutely lifeless, although babyface offered some comfort to them and will no doubt go pottering off to see them as and when she feels like it, although she does let me know she's going. It's a free for all house here!
Washing is now put away while babyface had a late dinner. Foxes have been fed with a ton of food, but still no joy with seeing the cubs. Having said that, I saw the back end of one tonight in one of the bushes. It's got a gorgeous white tipped tail like dad and is as red as can be like mum
It did't help when babyface decided she'd say hello 'vocally' in stead of her usualy silent crazy waggy tail - little Miss Kiri Te Kanawa at her best
Off to pre-declutter some decluttering sales parcels and get another well deserved mug of coffee. I just remembered than I lifted the bathroom lino today, cut it up with the stanley; with miss helper being banned from helping at the moment and not being the slightest amuzed at being shut inside for 2 minutes before we loaded it all into the car boot; babyface stood on top of the pile like King Kong so t I didn't forget what I was doing, ready to dump off at the tip early tomorrow morning, so perhaps I've done far more than I realiseWishing everyone a very peaceful & restful night xx Ta-ta for now xxxx

@Florenceem, I managed to watch the first two episodes of season 5 in the cinema in the last couple of weeks.
It was good.
I've briefly watched bits of the chosen in homegroup and keep meaning to watch episodes at home, but just haven't.
Decluttering wise, food waste and recycling gone today and I have a tall lamp and 2 lightbulbs pending to be collected.
I've an apron in I couldn't resist at a charity event while visiting a church today.Decluttering campaign 2023

Delivery today of a armchair for after my hip operation which meant a upset cat, how dare I have two strange men in the house for all of two minutes and they left a large box in the middle of the floor. I then had chair and packaging all over his floor! We won't mention that I put the back legs on front and front on back otherwise it was simple to pop in the back and wings. I was forgiven about 9pm when he came gave me loads of head bumps before he and layer on my bust and I watched TV between his ears 🙂. It will probably get rehome after I recover as it currently feels too much furniture.
I just need to collect some more junk and book a slot at the tip to get rid of the box, even broken up it will be too much for the recycling bin next Friday.Whilst waiting for the delivery I cleared half the dining room table and the junk which was beginning to pile up on the sofaLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin12
