Evening declutteri@ Muddy_Walker - Thanks! I'm really looking forward to adding your gorgeous babies to my calendar
Great going with the change of med for tablets, so it'll be all shake, rattle and roll from now on
@ QueenJess - Personally, I am now working on the system of however many permanent items come in the same amount have to go out, so if it means gift swapping, selling on, or giving away, then that what's happens. I've lived the keeping gifts that never get used for months and even years; only to have filled a monster mega wardrobe full of gifts including clothes & shoes which I'm now decluttering selling, and although I'm putting money in the coffers, never again!Decluttering Today - Hardly AnyMy intensions were good but my body failed with severe chronic pain. Absolutely no gardening done as planned, but I managed to pack my decluttered sales for today and drop them off at the RM Quad locker this evening - It took me 30 minutes to get there and back with babyface in tow; who was as good as gold as she hadn't had a walk all day, with me having to keep stopping every few metersShort of that, it's been crisis calls to get emergency medication with my Dr's Surgery leaving me high and dry after being given 6 hours for any doctor to prescribe medication dictated by a specialist to the Surgery via 2 calls & 2 emails along with 3 calls from me to see where my medication was and failing to act right up until 5.30pm closing time. Needless to say, I am well beyond utterly appalled
On a far more positive note, babyface rested very well this afternoon and is healing smashingly, although she's not the least interested in an evening meal but far more interested in playing with all her softies being thrown around & about, including her now deciding to drag her X-large dinosur down the hallway and kill jumping on it while crazy tail wagging & grunting - It's like having a 5 year old toddler totally high on sugar and letting ripNo doubt I'll find her totally zonked out & snoring away on top of Dino soon!
I'm now popping off to load the washing machine of babyface's bedding and getting it washed & pegged out before bed, not that I'll be sleeping
along with the usual basic HH bin sorting and putting out the wheelies ready to be decluttered tomorrow, but not before a nice mug of coffee
Wishing everyone a peaceful & restful evening & night. Take care all & toddle-doddle for now! xxxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD May 4/20 (4 x💯)# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £603.29 / £667.95 (90%)# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £9423.18 / £12,000 (78.5%)# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1170.23 / £1,378 (85%)~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺~ Decluttering Awards 2025: 🏅🏅☕️⭐️💐🏅⭐️⭐️☕️☕️⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £567.79 / £2025 (28%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯14 -

We still do general declutters and I realise the kids will probably need more stuff as they get older, so I figure it should all work out.2025 decluttering: 1,257🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🏅🌟🏅

After Saturday's gardening clearout I still managed to find another 20 things to declutter on Sunday. Monday was my afternoon in the city with DS and we were out longer than usual. DS had to meet a friend who wanted to give back some things they'd borrowed from him before friend went home to the east coast for the summer. Being out so long meant I just looked for the 5 bare minimum things once I was home.
On Tuesday I managed to dispose of 10 things not counting some sticks of rhubarb which I managed to give away on Olio. I need to put some more on there - it's gone mad (the rhubarb, not Olio). I outdid myself on Wednesday though. I cut the grass in the back and weeded the front garden. Once indoors I opened another cupboard of chaos to look for the stick blender. I found the blender but in the spirit of decluttering I pulled everything out onto the kitchen floor. Some of the things in that cupboard came from my friend's house that I cleared when she died two years ago. I couldn't let them go then but I decided it was ok to pass it on now (there's a rather lovely teapot amongst it that really needs a tea drinking home). I relocated 45 items in all! Most to the charity shop bag but a couple to the bin and a fair bit to the recycling too.
Today I did a quick garden clearup of junk - 10 things to the bin. I also did some lawn edging and weeding so another black bag full to the garden waste bin. That's me up to date...
DS has 2 exams tomorrow so I'm not expecting much decluttering being done. I'll be busy being moral support. Take care all of you 😊15 -
daisy_1571/Dizzycap - thanks from Mr F.
Mrs SD - lovely scarf. Is that Feather stitch?
I went to singing group last night - we are doing the Christian words to Abba's Dancing Queen on Palm Sunday.
Unlocked at SA this morning and checked to see if any donations outside.
My friend called round with a lovely blouse that she splashed with bleach - could I patch it.
I pressed items and listed on V.
Got a V sale to package.
Popped to As.. for milk and passed by SA - what a mess! Lots of bags of donations - some ripped open and clothes on the ground. So I went in and carried the donations inside then sorted and bagged.

Posted dinner plates for pick up as I have far too many and not sure I like them..now someone wants them ( asked if still available) i think maybe they are quite nice and I should say not available.. I thought I had another similar set but think already given away..I'm missing some blue glass plates so maybe they are all stashed somewhere?! I still have about 20 others but interested if others have similar feelings /. Dilemmas.
Interesting since having things more on display changing what I like, so keeping my patterned teapot and likely to pass on vintage stainless steel one.... but we will see..

Dear declutterati, I think I am approaching peak declutter... at the end of the month I am decluttering my job in exchange for a notional sum of money 😊 as part of my NHS hospital employer's £25m / 5% cuts.
The plan is to have the summer off then find a part-time job, so I can get on with all those jobs that need doing.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
