Good morning everyone 👋 It is dull & overcast here but still relatively warm - currently 8°C with no breeze 🙂 Forecast high of 10°C & low of 5°C. I hope everyone managed to get a good night’s sleep 😴 Straight into cheerleading
vulpix, sounds like you had a lovely time 😊 I know you like a good waterfall but usually at the bottom of the garden rather than indoors 😂 I am shame faced & will go immediately to the naughty step 🙁…….. I do hope you managed to replace your favourite mug 🤞 Pleased to see that your knitting gang are still going strong 😊 especially your “voracious knitter” ☺️ What a kind thing for her to do, knitting a scarf for the chap at the end of the road 😇 Just wondering if the non confident lady is still turning up? Sorry to read This “…….I am proper down in the dumps which is most unlike me. I suspect it has something to do with losing my sight in one eye. Plus I am somewhat an empath and I have taken on my son and DIL's distress at the situation with her Mum. At times like this I know I need to be alone at home for a few days to de compress.” I am sending lots of cwtches 🤗 your way to be shared with your DS & DIL.
daisy_1571 that did make me smile 😊 The excessive mirrors in hotel rooms is a nightmare especially if I catch sight of myself when half undressed 😧 😬
Florenceem, so pleased to hear that MrF is now well enough to attend church & that he had such a lovely welcome back 🥹
Floss, what a lovely offer ☺️
Florenceem, more excellent decluttering 👏 & time for a Gold Star ⭐️
Willowtree222, well done on “using up items & tidying” 👏 Hopefully your ‘motivation’ will return once the weather starts to improve 🤞
machasraven, such long working days 😬 I do hope that this doesn’t happen often 🤞Great work over the weekend 👏 I just hope you managed to find something to time to sleep 😉
I am struggling to concentrate so will post & come back later to make a concerted effort to catch up with the cheerleading 🤞I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊

Thank you!
Motivation has returned a little. I've listed a lot of items as either giveaway or sale dependent on what they're worth.
Hopefully they'll go

Muddy_Walker - Mr F hoarded plastic bags - just like his mother!
vulpix - I phoned the surgery for my blood test results - didn't want to as I can't face being told I am diabetic - too much of a sweet tooth girl. Anyway the Dr wanted a telephone consultation within 4 weeks so it gave me hope that I am just pre diabetic. My phone appt is not until the 18th March.
This morning I worked on the grey velvet curtains - I just couldn't get them to be the correct length - I couldn't understand it and was getting cross.
Wet here today - decided that we can manage another day without me going to Al..
After our meal we went to SA to a funeral and popped to As.. for some milk.
The curtains are now pinned ready to hand sew the hems.
I have one item finishing on Eb.. today. I did list an item yesterday evening.
A sale on V which was not picked up by the buyer has arrived back. I had a message from the buyer - she still wants the item so I will relist to let her buy.
Daughter is now coming down this Saturday instead of the week after - she realises that I may not have finished her curtains.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

99) - 101) items x 3 sold on V
102) - 103) full bags x 2 of soft plastics taken to supermarket recycling point
104) an inner of a specialised pillow that i have had for years and looked extremely worse for wear-binned.105) spare bits of empty tablet blister packs placed into the recycling box while waiting for a prescription. I have signed up to do the B**ts scheme. I have decided to save the points for when they have their Christmas sales,
106) packaging leaving the house at speed for the V items
Lots of items coming in from V, but I have a spare box so hoping that quite a few will go straight out for fundraising. Other items have been bought for presents or to finish of presents.

Hi @vulpix yes also a tin fan, it’s impossible to part with a pretty one, I’ve managed to part with some but the regrets after 😣 just hope who ever they ended up with treats them well 🤣 ‘That might come in handy’ and ‘you can never over butter toast’ are my mantras🤗
Bridget Jones was a slow starter, thought I’d leave about 1/2 way through but then it warmed up and I’m glad I stayed. One collection of big on freecycle fell through but one more booked for Saturday. It’s nice to see things moving along.Decluttering Challenge 2025/1483

Well done everyone with all the great decluttering efforts@ Florenceem - There's still time to turn it around before the Dr's call. Besides, it used to be a minimum of 3 consecutive similar blood test results before any diabetic possibility or diagnosis was made. The system may of changed now.Talking of blood test results
I've now had 2 consecutive sets of completely 'abnormal' blood results and my 3rd batch of blood tests are on Friday afternoon. Realistically, I know it's not looking good, but positively, I remain very calm whilst enjoying and taking each day as it comes, as I continue to walk in faith that there will be a turn around at some point
On a much brighter note: Gorgeous Gorda the rescue Daxie is absolutely loving her new forever home. She's a totally different dog and I'm absolutely thrilled for herI'm going to pop over and see her in a couple of days and help to give her a special bath and full clean up which I know will be great fun! Daxies do love a swim around the bath and the more toys, the better
I've packed up and decluttered 3 items out of the house and cluttered them into the RM quad locker around the corner when I took babyface out for her evening walk at 6pm ish. I'm now going to declutter a lovely cup of coffee before packing up another item which has just sold but postie can come and collect tomorrow, as I plan on having a much needed, full day at home.Hope to catch up at some point with all the MSE posts. Hellooooooooo
Just dropping in to say hi and welcome for those who are new that I haven’t welcomed yet. 👍 I’m not usually this ignorant but have All the Things going on right now.I talked to a councillor today about my depression and illnesses and she has come up with a plan that is practical, not woo-woo and very unfluffy so I am really really pleased with that. My appetite is coming back a bit so that’s good!Loving the Daxie chat! My 2 hounds love mud, vast expanses of muddy water, more mud yet give them a bath and they think it’s torture 🙄 I’ve never mentioned but they are spaniels, an ESS and her son, a Sprocker. As I can’t do the long walks right now I do a lot of brain training with them. Hubby will take them out now and then for me but he hates doing that as he always had to walk his parents dogs growing up and never got a choice, so I do see his point.
Hubby also likes plastic bags MrsF!!!!!!! I use them as small bin liners and rubbish bags for garden poop. Obviously I do use dog poop bags when out and about but to use a new one each time in the garden is quite wasteful I think.
I am currently re-reading the Harry Potter books and thoroughly enjoying them! No crochet recently as I have been making little orange pom poms and need to make about 20. Currently done 10 …..

Tuesday: so much for coming back & catching up on the cheerleading 😔 Finally unpacked the last bits from the overnight bag, gathered together all the dirty washing (DH is still leaving clothes all over the place 🙁) & have put a load in the wm. The sky has cleared up & there is a gentle breeze so might even use the whirligig today. DH went out for a walk & was gone for about 75 minutes - treated himself to a cappuccino & a sticky bun. I have had a fried egg sandwich. I have just watched Landscape Artist of the Year & for once I picked the same 3 from 8 & then the winner 🙂 Didn’t end up drying outside 😞 Dinner was slices of beef warmed through in lo gravy, mash & beans. QueenJess, an excellent session of decluttering in your DS’s room 👏 How brilliant that it was mainly paper clutter & you have a new plan in place to keep it under control 🤩 Good luck with clearing down all your frogs 🍀 With your determination I have no doubt that you will be frog free in the not too distant future 😊 A medal 🏅 is on its way for both the bedroom sort out & the start of dealing with making tags & cards 😊
