My last interest was paid on 30th Jun 25 of £63.82, then before that £43.48 on 31st March 25, then £24.86 on 31 Dec 24, then £5.14 on 30 sept 24. So a total interest of £137.30
My first £250 went in on 13 Aug 24 and then I made 12 further payments circa the 1st week of each month.
What happened to my July interest ?
Thank you.
Need to try alternative method.
For reference, the direct link to the closure form is https://uk.virginmoney.com/vmforms/current-accounts/account-closure-request/
There is no need to login and go to "more" etc and yes, it's the same form for savings accounts, even though the website only refers to current accounts4 -

However when I try to do this using 08 , I dont have an option to open the regular saver ?
I have an 05 current account but not a current account starting 08?
Is this the reason ?
You have to have two current accounts with Virgin, one on the 08 system and one on the 05 system?
Thanks.2 -

Since installing the app 8 days ago I've lost my online access. The portal doesn't recognise my login details anymore. I've tried to re-register with no success, the system lets me go through the whole process but collapses at the end. Has anyone else experienced the same recently?
I did ring them to check but the chap said they run on different platforms so you can use the app or online. If all else fails you might have to ring them.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”1 -

Anyone else waiting for their deposits (faster payment from Chase at 01:23 on 1st Aug) from yesterday to show on their account(s)? I've experienced this before and it's irritating to say the least.
What do others do to avoid it? Can I fund my base rate tracker and do internal transfers from there? But won't that payment not get credited on time too? Fundamentally, is Skipton BS just unreliable?2 -

I've found Skipton's systems in general don't seem to like payments into regular savers too early in the day on the first of the month so I usually fund them during business hours.1 -

Skipton can be slow but it varies. A few months ago a payment I made to one account (I had two accounts then) hadn't shown by the third business day, while a payment made at the same time to Member RS showed on the day it was made. I phoned them and they confirmed receipt of the non-showing payment which eventually showed up towards the end of the third business day.2 -
I emptied and closed my Virgin RS on morning of 31st and gave an external account for interest due.
I also opened a RS 3 on 1st. No problems.
This morning I see the 10% RS has correctly disappeared but the Everyday Saver has appeared. I would have thought my actions on 31st negated the need for yet another account (which I'll just want to close) being set up.0 -

Thanks for the replies.
I've never had a payment returned but more than one delayed credit. I'd not thought it was because of early hours payments so I'll try manual mid morning payments in future.
Quite an effort for Skipton to be out-credited by Mon BS🙂0 -
