I've tried copying and pasting the details and re-typing everything, and tried two different sending banks, but they just refuse to send the payment.
I didn't even realise the reference was checked.
Principality takes 24 hours for COP to recognise new accounts.
this evening, and funded it straight away. Bank of Scotland couldn't get the reference verified of course, but let me proceed after a warning.
It's still showing at 5.15% right now by the way, despite being a fixed interest offering.1 -

BoS
Has anyone managed to get BoS renew to work, lately? I know there was discussion a while ago when others were finding it wouldn't renew with BoS message saying "something's gone wrong", and that's what I'm now getting, though it's worked in the past. Just wondered if anyone found a way round. I've got Halifax and both Lloyds to renew.0 -

I wanted to refresh a Lloyds RS this week that still had 6 months to run. I couldn’t renew it, so I had to empty it, close it via chat and then I opened a new one the following day once the old RS had disappeared from my online banking.0 -

You are free to (and need to) apply a new one. Renew is only useful if you wish to work around the 12 month minimum period between opening RS by changing the RS to a different account type. Are you sure that closing the RS as a RS allowed you to open a new one, because my understanding was that without changing the original to a different account type, you'd be locked out until the end of the term of the original RS?2 -

You can do it via the online chat. The reason that I did it was that the majority of my reg savers mature in the 2nd half of the year and I wanted to spread them out more evenly.3 -
Finding Furness a bit frustrating/slow. Opened my first account with them last month (Christmas RS) and paid £500 before 8am yesterday morning. Still not showing. How long do they usually take to process payments? TIA.0
