From what I recall (it was a couple of weeks ago since I applied), I couldn't use "special characters" in my password, and my memorable information couldn't have spaces in it.shirley999 said:Hanley
finally received my letter with my temporary ID today. I tried several passwords and was getting a message, you can't use the same password as before, I'm a new customer. In the end, I assumed, due to the length of the temporary password, it was too long and went for something the same length as the temporary password. Not great that is doesn't tell you the criteria and gives a false reason for failure. All set up now though.1 -
I couldn't create a password longer than 12 characters, but others said that they could, shrugshirley999 said:Hanley

Think someone mentioned this a while back that they say a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 when in reality the maximum is only 15.mon3ysav3r said:

It seems to take forever to receive the online access detail. I registered for it about 2 weeks ago.Kim_13 said:Scottish BS
Passbook arrived along with welcome pack today, 9 days after posting application. Letter was dated 27th, the day they must have cashed the cheque as it cleared on the 28th. Deposit in the passbook was dated 23rd, two days after posting first class (so hope yet for anyone who sent off at the beginning of the week in hope of an October opening.)
Registered for online access, now to see how long that takes.
Not a big deal though as i have all info i need to make deposits, but good to check occasionally that deposits are credited.0 -
My West Brom RS has matured and I tried to open another and forgot that it has become branch only. I will not be going anywhere near a branch anytime soon, has anyone found a way around this?0

There's no obligation to make deposits so you can miss as many months as you wish. Unlimited withdrawals are permitted without penalty.Bob2000 said:Monmouthshire building society APP 7% regular saver.
Can someone please remind me if you can miss a month regarding funds. And also withdrawals allowed?
I assume it's identical to the 6% (issue8) in that regards?
