How does maturity for the online regular savers normally work please? Is there an option to give preferences in advance that mean it is closed and funds sent to the NBA like principality etc.? ThanksIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Finally managed to get access to husband’s app by using daughter’s mobile number. Noticed that he has two R/S’s Issue 8 although currently only one funded. Has anyone else who ended up with two issue 8’s opened funded both and not had their payments returned?--**MONEYFACTS**-- FULL List of Money Comparison Products + News / Guides--Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# Regular Savers 2026- New 9/12 - Total: 31 (6)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £355.02 / £667.95 (6)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £8492.37 / £12,000 (6)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £710.56 / £1825 (6)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (22/10) 426 / £400 (6)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1255 / £2880 (6).# Decluttering Challenge (6)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto: 'SAVE before you spend on Non-essentials'0 -

Re Furness Christmas RS, i can make 1 withdrawal AND close if necessary during the term?
I don't use the digital part of this account, can withdrawals/closure be made by phone?0 -
Yes you can.Aidanmc said:Re Furness Christmas RS, i can make 1 withdrawal AND close if necessary during the term?
Withdrawals can, I'm not sure about closure though, when I tried closing the RS Issue 5 over the phone a couple of years back they said I'd need to send the passbook in, but you can definitely close online.Aidanmc said:I don't use the digital part of this account, can withdrawals/closure be made by phone?1 -
Regarding the Monmouthshire Branch Exclusive regular saver at 7% (max £500 a month)
1. I’ve seen some chat here about opening this by post. How is this done? Do you need to ring them first? Do they send you application forms and envelopes?
2. For those who have opened one of these, does it show up in the app? And can you of in by bank transfer in the usual way? And, at closure, can it all be sorted online?
Thanks!1 -
You don't need to ring unless you are unable to print the form. They will probably send you pre-paid envelopes on request, I didn't have to ask this time because I have some sent to me previously.What_time_is_it said:Regarding the Monmouthshire Branch Exclusive regular saver at 7% (max £500 a month)

The account shows in the app as soon as it is opened. You can fund by bank transfer as normal. I was able to close my previous branch accounts online, I'm pretty sure that this one can be closed online too.5 -
Re Monmouthshire Branch Exclusive
I’m also interested in opening this account by post as I’m not local to any branches.I already hold the Regular Saver and App Exclusive. How have others opened the Branch Exclusive? Where are the applications forms found ?Or is it simply a case of writing and enclosing a cheque to open sent to any branch ?2 -

Send a cheque if you like, but others have reported not doing it and it being fine.5 -
I downloaded, printed and filled out this pdf to open the "Branch Exclusive" Monmouthshire account, kindly posted by someone I forget who in the previous 634 pages in this thread, I sent it to the Newport address on the last page of the form, I didn't send a cheque and I funded it later when they opened it, I added it to my online web account as I prefer that to the app https://web.archive.org/web/20241213021216/https://media.monbs.com/savings/general-savings-application-form/4
