MonBS APP EXCLUSIVE RS 7%
So yet another breakdown with the app. I was wondering if l could just delete it and use the online portal instead?
Already fully funded 2 months.
Would MonBS close the account because of non-app use?

If it were any other building society then I would say "No way" but.....Bob2000 said:MonBS APP EXCLUSIVE RS 7%

So I’ve just checked app working for me still, although as it’s up and running I don’t really need to use the app. I could check funds have arrived, other than that I don’t really need the app, until maturity, so not sure how they can class anything as non use as I don’t actually need to do anything now it’s up and running.Bob2000 said:MonBS APP EXCLUSIVE RS 7%

I would suggest just ignore the app and use the online service.
Just in case deleting the app causes an issue, although would MonBS even know you had?1 -
£10 next month and possibly £10 in November then, wouldn't have had this problem if the account was a year, sadly it was longerBestSeagull said:
No skipping months. However it does say if "more than one" month is missed, it'll be converted to an easy access account so presumably you can get away with missing one payment. The minimum payment is £10 though so I'd just do that if at all possible.jameseonline said:Just working out what to fund in October, so far I've come up with CO OP and several Principality as they all in 7% category.
Next problem what do I do about Market Harborough?, I believe I can skip 1 month?, if yes would they still expect me to fund in November even though it ends on 30th November?, if so what's the minimum I'm allowed to fund it?.
Don't really want to fund a 6% account if I can get away with it but it's not far away from maturity I don't want them penalising me.

MonBS application process is a bit like dial up. Enter all your details, please wait five minutes on this loading screen, do not close it, we will then email you a PDF document with a code, enter this code, then we can open your account.1

I haven't made a contribution to my MHB November maturing RS since April due to over payment, and it remains as a regular saver.jameseonline said:Just working out what to fund in October, so far I've come up with CO OP and several Principality as they all in 7% category.

YBS launched their £50 saver on Mon, Sept 9th last year. 2025 version tomorrow?
I seem to remember the details were all released in advance of the account last year, whereas all the messaging this time around seems to have been around Savings Week, which isn't for another couple of weeks.6 -
My enthusiasm for these small RSs is waning somewhat. Unless it's 6% or better I'll be giving it a swerve.WillPS said:YBS launched their £50 saver on Mon, Sept 9th last year. 2025 version tomorrow?

There was a YBS email at the end of the week offering a new fixed ISA savings account but no mention of a RS. Maybe they'll roll out another email next week with a RS offer or leave it until savings week?WillPS said:YBS launched their £50 saver on Mon, Sept 9th last year. 2025 version tomorrow?
