MHBS Fixed Term Regular Savers Overfunding

They're enforcing the rules this month.  My second account £250 funding returned :

    01/09/2025Clrd Sav RcptStanding Order xxxxxxxxxxx£250.00

    02/09/2025Sav Return S/OStanding Order Restricted-£250.00

Credited to my current account today 3/9/25.

    That's not good.

Both mine went in and have credited this month, I hop they leave it for 2 more payments.
    Fingers crossed.

Did they close some of your accounts and/or return money to you recently ?
Did anyone manage to have more than one £250 payment to MHBS accepted this month ?  And did you have money returned and / or accounts closed recently for having added too much or having too many accounts ?

    Thanks

Yes, I deposited £250 in each on 1st September, both accepted, nothing returned or closed.  I did £10/£240 split for the first 3 months of the second RS running, after that I always paid £250x2.

I have for Sept, and indeed Aug, July and June but before that I did several months I could only afford a tenner in each so that might be the reason why they are leaving me alone

Filled them Both from Day one, No issues yet.

Thanks for your replies.  So I think that the people who have 2 accounts and did not have accounts closed recently or money returned are ok.  I had 2 accounts closed and £4K+ returned and got on the naughty list...

Many BS’ and some banks e.g., Danske is NI only  restrict access to accounts based on postcode. Thems the breaks.

Danske bank has a really good switching bonus which (if you're a new customer) is only available if you're resident in Northern Ireland. You win some, you lose some.
