Yes, a Tipton Easy Acc Maturity Saver (App) which last year's regular saver matured into. Since then, a whopping 6p interest has been added. I've not had any problems with the app, barring about a month ago, when I had to update it to access my account.mhoc said:...

In settings go to 'apps' - 'App Store' and you should see the setting 'Offload Unused Apps' towards the bottom of the screen.Kim_13 said:
I did the same. I check it occasionally as my iPad has taken to offloading unused apps even though I never enabled this option and cannot see it anywhere. I noticed it stopped working for a period but it is now working again after an app update.ForumUser7 said:
When my RS ended, it just converted to a maturity easy access with themselves, min £10 balance. The other online accounts that are available to open seemed to have much higher balances, so I retained this.mhoc said:This week I am going to have to tackle the Tipton.
When my Tipton regular saver matured for want of any other good options I moved the proceeds into a 60 day saver which was OK as a stop gap.
Now though with the interest rates dropping it is time to make a decision.
I had a letter that seemed to say the 60 notice did not apply if I contacted them - so I need to give them a ring.
I think I just need an easy access with minimum balance just to keep my association with Tipton.
The Tipton app has not worked for me for months now so its not something I can do myself.
In the meantime I've just realised I have nothing maturing before the end of July so I could the Tipton funds will be needed so this week will be a good time to act.

I heard nothing for over a week and then received a letter saying that Saffron didn't hold an email address or telephone number for me, which is clearly showing in my online account and APP because I already hold a savings account with them, so I gave up the ghostas I can't be faffing around with incompetence & excusesinnocentlove said:Saffron BS Small savers application as a new customer
I applied it this morning. The application reference number was shown at the end of application. I did not receive any email acknowledgement. Just wondering, roughly, how many days would it take to have the account opened and receiving online credential. Cheers!

I let my last Tipton RS to revert into Easy Access Maturity Saver, withdrew the balance but left £10 (required minimum balance) there. It pays derisory 3.3%, but that was the best option for keeping continuous membership.mhoc said:This week I am going to have to tackle the Tipton.

Re Progressive RSMaturity day is 10th June, if i close/withdraw balance on maturity day (before it converts to saver account on 11th) will i receive the funds on 11th and able to open another RS?Or is it better to wait until after maturity,ie the 11thEdit. when i hit the withdraw button, i just get a circle of dancing dots. Maybe only works during business hours. We'll see what happens tomorrow.0

@Dizzycap Thanks for letting me know of your experience. I am totally new to Saffron and don't know what to expect. It sounds like it'll be a long wait if I ever get a response from them. Cheer!0

How very strange! I've got 3 x Issue 3 6 month RS and @surreysaver has 4, so something seems to be a miss as Issue 3 is still available. I presume that you tried to set-up the maturity instructions pre-maturity? If so, then then should have been no issue regardless of being completed online or over the telephone??Money_Grabber13579 said:My second principality account has matured and it was also blocked from maturing into a 2nd regular saver account (but not by the same person who was mentioned here previously). So looks like that opportunity might be coming to an end.
Yes, both maturity accounts had instructions provided pre maturity. One was provided several weeks before, the other provided the day before, after close of business. The instructions for both accounts were blocked and matured into a maturity savings account.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Saffron BS are rather fond of sending out irrelevant canned responses to stuff, I've noticed.Dizzycap said:

In the second case did you get a human response saying the instruction couldn't be accepted, or if not, could it be you just missed the cut-off time for the instruction to be processed?Money_Grabber13579 said:
