Principality: My 1st issue 2 this month has matured today, £1229.29 total balance, £1200 + £29.29 interest, £1029.29 to nominated account & £200 into what is now showing as my 2nd issue 3. ☺️

We try again around the 28th of the month to get the other issue 2 converted 😁

Can someone remind me about the 10% Virgin Regular?

Is it ending on 31st July?🤔

Is there 1 payment due end of this month & then another end of July?🤔

Maturity date is 31st July 2025.
Max. balance that interest is paid on (excluding interest added to the account) is £3000.

    from the PDF...
We work out how much interest to pay you at the end of each day. This is based on the money in your account. We’ll add any interest on the last working day in March, June, September, and December.

it's down on my spreadsheet as paying out at the end of this month and, I assume, at maturity - though the pdf is vague on that last bit... it could be read as maturing into an Everyday Saver with the interest paid in September... though I would imagine you could close the ES account after maturity to get the interest earlier.

Yea it's what I'm trying to workout, so far I've had interest payments of:

    £5.82, £25.28, £43.58
    Sept, Dec, March

OK so I rang the Tipton and because I've got the app the smallest balance for the 60 day notice would be £1000 or for the air ambulance saver would be £100 - I was hoping for an easy access with £1 or £10 but thats not possible so I've closed the Tipton account altogether
I do like to support the smaller building societies but with the over abundance of Principality accounts with far better savings rates the Tipton wont be missed.

Much the same - £5.89, £25.22, £43.48 guessing last will be about 60-70

Not sure why I thought it but I have a note it would be £3162 total finished, I think more likely £3130-40 depending on the last month

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    I’ve had £5.89 £25.29 & £43.58. Do I win the prize?

I’m expecting another interest payment 30 June and again on maturity 31 July

The KPI suggests a final balance on maturity of £3162.40 based on assumed payment date 1st, full £250 every month & no withdrawals. There is no mention of it morphing into any other account so I’m expecting VM to offer maturity instructions by mid July.

Wouldn't the double access account be of any use to you?  3.45% .

Generally, yes, their rates are poor in comparison and the range of accounts limited but as you state, they are a  small society and they are already reducing branch opening hours due to falling off of customer use.
It would be a pity to lose yet another bs in the general run of things.
