Has anyone got any tips on how to open the Leeds BS regular saver online if you've already got a login? For me applying just takes me to the main logged in page after login.
Leeds - it works fine for me (although I don't actually want this RS).  Possibly you didn't start by opening the pdf attachments, as they ask you to do?:

Before you apply, please read the summary box above, our Product Terms & Conditions (PDF)General Terms & Conditions (PDF) and the FSCS Information Sheet (PDF).

No, this is the page after, which offers

Apply for your Regular Saver (issue 62)

Do you already have a Leeds Building Society login?

    Yes, I have a login | No, I don't have a login
nvm, I tried in another browser profile and it worked, must be ublock origin, even though I disabled it for Leeds website.

Am I right at thinking that with the rate reduction from 6 to 5.75% are we allowed to close the Coventry Regular Saving without any penalty?

From personal experience recently, it took the Co-Op 3 days to open my New RS after confirmation of application by email. This was due to high demand and the system having a backlog of RS applications that needed to be worked through by staff. In today's RS climate, the important issue is that you get the 7% fixed RS, even if there's a couple of days delay in it being fully opened for a few extra pennies of interest on getting in funds before the end of the month, which at this point, is highly unlikely ;)

The Co-op's Regular Saver isn't fixed.
I stand corrected. It might as well be, as it hasn't changed interest rate in the past 3 years.
