Coventry
Am I right at thinking that with the rate reduction from 6 to 5.75% are we allowed to close the Coventry Regular Saving without any penalty?0 -
I stand corrected. It might as well be, as it hasn't changed interest rate in the past 3 years.WillPS said:Dizzycap said:From personal experience recently, it took the Co-Op 3 days to open my New RS after confirmation of application by email. This was due to high demand and the system having a backlog of RS applications that needed to be worked through by staff. In today's RS climate, the important issue is that you get the 7% fixed RS, even if there's a couple of days delay in it being fully opened for a few extra pennies of interest on getting in funds before the end of the month, which at this point, is highly unlikely

My Co-op RS has just matured and morphed into a smart saver, but it is just showing a balance of £3000, no interest has been added. Is this normal, and does it get added at a later point.0

Happy Regular Saver Transfer Day everyone

Or part 1 in my case given that today is a non-working day so I'll only be paying into about 2 dozen today, most of the rest'll get paid into on Monday due to the way they treat payments received on non-working days for interest purposes.jaypers said:Happy Regular Saver Transfer Day everyone

Mine matured on Thursday, it shows as a Smart Saver, without any interest added, for roughly 3 hours, then the interest appears. Mind you, mine happened on a working day, may be different as this is a Saturday.Stargunner said:My Co-op RS has just matured and morphed into a smart saver, but it is just showing a balance of £3000, no interest has been added.
