Good morning
It’s a lovely sunny morning here, bit chilly, but I can live with that. It’s the dull greyness that I don’t like.
Today we’re off to look after our DGD for the afternoon, which is always lovely.
I’ve transferred £5 across to the savings as my PAD as I may need it later in the month and if not I’ll knock some of it off the CC.
We’ve loads of food in that needs stretching out to see if I can make it last as long as possible.
I made a loaf in the bread maker yesterday to save going near the shops. We’ve plenty of milk in and unless I need biscuits for my volunteers tomorrow at work it should be another NSD too ( they are working for free so the least I can do is buy them biscuits)
I’m feeling a bit more upbeat about life. The sunshine helps and although money will be tighter work will be easier.
I hope you’re all well and happy. Hugs to those who need them.

Good morning guys
Well today marks 42 years married. I’m working today so tomorrow we’re going out for tea and a big cake, not very exciting but as we’re both dieting and moneys tight a meal out can wait for another time.
I’ve already paid my PAD into the savings account and declared a NSD. We’ve plenty of food in and I don’t need anything so the money stays safe for another day.
Anyway time to get dressed
Have a good day

Tea and cake sounds more celebratory to me. As in, you’d be having a meal anyway just changing the location. Hi guys
Well my tea and cake was lovely. As the weather was beautiful, like a spring day we walked along the promenade, had tea and cake and then walked back.So today wasn’t a NSD but the cafe wasn’t that expensive and I knocked another £25 off my CC.
Apart from a bit of housework not much else happened today.

Good morning
It’s a lovely day outside but unfortunately I’ll be spending it at work. Never mind.
It’s not until you write it down that you realise what a boring life you have 😂 Anyway today will be work, home and bed. But I’ve a roof over my head, we can afford heat and food and I’ve a lovely family so I’m not complaining.
This time next week will be the wedding day. Lovely.
I’ve knocked another £5 off the CC and then will ramp it up after the wedding and I know what money I’ve got left for the rest of the month.
Anyway time to get ready
Hugs to anyone who needs one

Good morning guys
Just half a day at work today as it’s getting to the end of the holiday leave year with the rest being used up at the weekend.
Today won’t be a NSD because I need pegs. Yesterday I stocked up the fresh food as we didn’t need a full shop, so although the NSDs aren’t growing I’m not spending much.
It looks absolutely beautiful outside, the sky looks gorgeous. It is a bit chilly but I think the sunshine does you good. I’ll probably walk home this afternoon, making the most of the nice weather.
Sun_Addict a Halloween wedding sounds lovely, so much you can do with the colours at that time for the reception and bridesmaids.Anyway I better get on
See you all soon

Good morning guys
I’ve just realised that I’ve not checked in for a while so here I am.
DS1s wedding went wonderfully apart from a few of us ending up with stinking colds ( the paige boy and one of the flower girls very quite snotty and I think they’ve shared it)
As mother of the groom I got a lovely bouquet of flowers ( unfortunately I can’t smell them but they look beautiful)
So now it’s full steam ahead to get the June holiday paid for. The weekend wasn’t as expensive as I thought it might be so I’ve paid a big chunk off the CCs and hope to pay a bit more yet as I get paid next week. So I’m carrying on with my PADs, the NSDs aren’t as good but I knew this month might have been a spendy month (luckily relatively small spends)
Work is finally advertising for the two day vacancy to cover me and my boss losing a day each. Next month I’ll still be doing 4 days but all together and then 3 off so when the newbie starts we just have to alter the rota to fit them in.
I haven’t decided what to eat this evening but I’ve salad arriving in my online shop this afternoon so it might be that. I need to do a menu plan for the next few days as when I’m at work OH cooks and he likes a bit of notice of what he’s making.
It’s a bit chilly but we’ve a lovely blue sky here that lifts the spirits.Hugs to you all

Hi guys
Today has been a bit spendy. Today was payday so I did a Lidl shop as I had a £5 off £30 voucher, sent money to appropriate relatives for their kids birthdays and went to our local big toy shop. I bought 2 kids birthday presents and a small toy for GD instead of an Easter egg. So I’m organised for the next month.
I’m still tired and blocked up after my cold/flu bug but on the mend. I can’t breathe when I lie down so I ended up having a nap this afternoon to try and catch up on my sleep a bit.I think we are gradually tip toeing to spring, I’m fed up of winter. Never mind it will soon arrive.
