We’re due snow until the morning, then turns to rain, which hopefully will wash away the snow. Got a few family members out and about tomorrow. I won’t settle until they are all safely home, just in case it gets icy. I live in a hilly area and the roads don’t get gritted.x

    Hi guys
Well today hasn’t been as bad as expected. I woke to snow and although I hadn’t many customers I managed to keep warm and busy at work.
Another PAD of £5 ( hardly noticing the money going )
DS2 has made a big pot of cowboy stew for tea 😋 which will make at least 2 days meals.
I’m off work until Wednesday now so need to rotate the fridge and freezer and see what needs using up and a menu plan done. Apart from that not much to do this week.
    Keep warm and well guys.

    Good morning guys
Another PAD done making my total £25.35 so far this year. All from avoiding the coffee shop on the way to work and making do with what we have in. I did this weeks menu and apart from bread, milk and spuds I doubt I’ll need anything.
We seem to been lucky as although it’s cold our snow has gone. We were supposed to be going over to DS1s this afternoon but it’s still slippy over there so that’s now Thursday.
Hugs to those needing them, keep warm

    Morning guys
Another £5 paid off the CC this morning.
Today is going to be a traybake of wedgie potatoes, carrots, brussels, a couple of wrinkly parsnips with the last of the frozen pigs in blankets and baby sausages. Lunch will be Camembert and cranberry sandwiches.
I haven’t decided whether today will be a NSD yet so will add that later.
I applied for a vacancy at one of our other shops yesterday. I’ve decided it’s time for a change so I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

    Good morning guys
Another £5 off the CC today.
Today won’t be a NSD though cos I’ve an online shop arriving this evening. The freezer is still quite full, but going out for odd bits puts too much temptation on buying unnecessary extras but the cereal, milk and fresh stuff was needed and everything I’ve ordered will be used so it makes sense.
    Anyway I better get on
    Keep warm

    Good morning
It looks absolutely beautiful outside but it’s freeeeeeezing 🥶
Today I’ve paid another £3 off the credit card and today is definitely going to be a NSD. We’re going over to DS1s to look after our granddaughter.
My online shop arrived yesterday so that should last us well into next week, with the bonus of an extra pack of grated cheese cos the one I ordered was out of stock so they sent two. I love free food.
Also I’ve made a list of available meals from what I’ve got in so all I need to do is extend my menu plan each week or if there is a change (last weeks altered as plans changed)
    Keep well and warm guys

    Hi guys
Today I’ve knocked another three pounds off my credit card, but today wasn’t a NSD as I needed plasters and Vaseline ( my skin isn’t enjoying the cold weather)
Apart from that nothing to report. Have a good weekend.

    Thanks Blackcats
    Morning guys
Today is definitely a NSD cos I’m going to work and then snuggling up in front of the tv. I can quite see why some animals hibernate.
Another £5 off the CC this morning. I was tempted to get a coffee on the way to work yesterday but didn’t cos I think I enjoy the positivity of doing the PAD more.
    Anyway I better get on

    Hi guys
It’s still really cold here but blue sky so I can live with that. I’ll just layer up and keep busy.
£5 off my CC and a NSD today.
OH is in charge of food today as I’m at work. I hadn’t done a menu for the weekend just dip into the freezer for inspiration, but I’ll do one later for next week. When the online shop arrived I made a list of possible meals on my iPad and then we’ll decide what we’re having this week from that ( I get paid a week on Friday so am trying to stretch the food to as near to that as possible)
    Time to get on
    Have a good day
