I am down to £70.47 and £60 is earmarked for groceries and there is 12 days left of the month, Jee's it doesn't help that I don't have anything in that will satisfy me, I await for the shop. But even then I am not sure I have enough. I think I will spend the rest of the cash on Groceries to make sure I have enough snacks in!

I am stuck on 10/19 No spend days Poo!

Claim progressing but still no result, there was a full tank of fuel and new tyres, Life sucks! At least I am okay, I must remember thatXX
Missions for the rest of the year:-

    1) Build up an emergency fund (EF)
    2) Improve spending habits.
    3) Create a budget that is compatible to me.
    4) Buy healthier snacks to avoid junk food splurges.

I do need to do some chores which would make me feel more saintly then I currently feel (which is devilish) 🤣🤣🤣

So here is a motivational list to cross off just for tonight:-

    1) hoovering

    2) mopping

    3) Clean bathroom

    4) wash up after dinner

    5) clean dining table

    6) check to see if car I want is still available to buy? - It is yay!

    7) plan some things to have in the house that are healthy but also filling, and satisfy and easy to reach. Check grocery list. - Not the most healthiest grocery list but never mind!

    That will do for now.

I am on a break until the floor is dry, I think I am not going to go on a diet but instead be prepared like having snacks in that will satisfy (Like snack a jacks s&v crisps) (2bar kit kat) and delicious meals that I can look forward to and try the trouble is since the colder weather and because I am unprepared I am going for all snacks that are no good and buying expensive trips to the sm. 😒 I must get prepped! I also ordered some bacon so sometimes I can do a bacon sarnie which i crave sometimes as opposed to going to the local bakery for one of their rather delicious bacon baps!

I was being a lot more sensible when my last lodger was here he really was a good influence, I wish he was here still! We are writing to each other.💕

I think I will save the rest for tomorrow - poopened!

  • Sorry about your car troubles CB , hopefully all sorted soon . Good idea to keep more snack/treat type things at home if it stops impulse buys . Enjoy your weekend xx

I agree I am excited about it, it is a steal!

I am expecting that I will have the following debt before the end of the month: -

And I won't clear it until the new year I have predicted, I am also going to try and have a no spend day today to avoid adding to the debt, I really need to start adding to them and soon, I only have one day where I can spend money if I am to reach target of 20/19.

There is no need to spend money today, I have had groceries but within my new budget of £60, I have a full tank of fuel, I am set to go. All chores are done, thankfully, so the weekend is truly mine! (famous last words!).

Thank you Beanie I hope you have a good weekend tooXX

I didn't get the car today MD has slightly put me off getting the same type as before. However now I have had some time to reflect I have seen another car which is 40K miles, £5.6K, Well looked after, Most services in the service history, comes with two year warranty, it is 2 years older, therefore Car tax is £20 per year instead of £195 which is what I used to pay! It is a bright colour, it is the same type as I had before but I know I will get on with it okay, the only worry is if I do the same thing to it, though I think I have learned my lesson?! I worry the parts are not as easy to get but you can still get them. I am not buying yet but I am strongly thinking about it. It means this months I would have a new to me car and pay back SFD!

Also one of my mums lodger has a small car £2.8K 12 plate 55K Miles which I thought I would test drive.

    Have a lovely eveningXX

After all my back and forth I have decided to buy the car I originally intended to buy at the beggining of the weekend! The very loved car which will put me in debt more for a little bit, But I am earning so shouldn't be for ever. I ended the week last week with a lot of positve praise from work.

I did earn £40 over the weekend (Washing up & toe nail cutting), but I have spent quite a bit more sadly, it is just whenever I use my credit card I feel I can reward myself with some snacks or in my case a new keyboard & Mouse for my old computer! Reality check I spent £109.37 and earned £40. I'm allowing myself £100 per week groceries and fuel and spending it should be enough?! My next shop is already ordered at £60.

As soon as my insurance money comes in I am going to buy the new to me car straight away before someone else snaps it up!
