This is your third week, can you WFH now? Good to see the numbers stacking up. When does the voluntary job start?

Hi Chievely, Thank you yes, I WFH last week part of the week I still have to go to the office some days as it is a hybrid job. The numbers are not so good now, it just took a little bit too much spending and now I won't clear the credit card until November, however most will clear in October. I will do another snip of calulcations, I am telling you if there is any hope of reaching goal I am doing what I can to get there! (The goal being Pay off SFD & MD now and Pay the credit card next month).....While writing this message I have had a call from a service man - defo not going to reach target until Novembers pay check, and I am not going to stretch myself uncomfortably now either and I was bound to fail...so there!

I am due to go to a try out this Sunday for the voluntary job to see what is involved, I am a bit apprehensive as I have put myself to do lots of work before and it never ends well, MD says that the chap is probably slow and I could porobably do it in half the time but I don't want to disappoint I know him in the village. And the upside is I am likely, if all goes well, to get a bookkeeping job should my current job not be there. It is back up reserve should the worse happen, which I didn't want to have but not having a job for 6 months I think I need a bit of a back up. But I felt tired today for a big part of the day and I don't want to put myself in a strained place. What I mean to say is I will have a work experience on my CV that is current when looking for work - it is voluntary I won't get paid, but it is for a good cause. I think that last message sounds a bit arxx about txt, but I am too tired to sort!

    Have a good evening allXX

Don’t put yourself under too much pressure to do too much
Concentrate on the full time paid job you have; you are enjoying it; its hybrid which is what you wanted
Personally I don’t think it would be good for you to work full time at home so the fact its hybrid is a good thing x Getting out and meeting people etc is good for you

Not a good day today, it started well I was energised and ready to go this morning, I went out at 06:45 ish and went to the town of where I work, stopped to get petrol and a few naughty snacks, then went to the place of free parking and BANG! I went into another vehicle, it was completely my fault although they drove off my car is almost a write off I will find out in a few days as to what the insurance people will decide, I am not looking forward to it. I am obviously hoping they will repair my car, but the cash value is less then the quote but then the cost of a new to me car is higher, but I don't know how they operate, I have always believed that I would just get some cash and not an actual car, however mum thinks I should get a car like for like or as near as dammit.

My poor car you should have seen the damage it is sad, I have to think about this logically accidents happen, I have my parents as back up to whatever should arise, I have a job which I am nailing, I just need today to end and then things will hopefully improve I just didn't think I was going to have to say goodbye to my car today which I may have to do.

Also work have picked up on a couple of things I think it is just minor things of mis-understandings but it just adds to the day, if I was to lose my job as well it would be a pretty lousy week 😒

I need to change what I do, you see I keep planning what I want to do with expected wages yet I haven't been paid, and as the month move things keep changing I spend money recklessly and then the plans have to change. I want to change my mindset, so I will have weekly pocket money, that is the best plan that I could have and it will be stricter then I can sometimes allow myself to be but also reasonable. Lets base it off my budget this is my average month budget:-

Therefore my only mission each month is to look at the credit card, I will do this from the first to the end of the month, then when the month end comes I can look at how much I have left over and what I plan to do with it then, therefore I have a money spread sheet and officially this new method won't officially start until October 1st.

The things I will report through the month:-

    1) Am I on track to keep spending below or equal to £400?

    2) How many no spend days have I accumulated?

    3) Chores/ Writing/ Work/ MS Wins

    Things to report Month end:-

    1) The final tally of spending and that credit card tracker, actually I am tempted to move to a debit card, and actually not pay SFD off this month but another month, and put £400 into the spending card, that is for fuel, groceries and anything else. I may do this today!? and use cash I have for the rest of this months budget, this is new and real money, it may help me, this is what everyone has been recommending to me to do, yes, I think I have a chance to do it now, now is the time!

    Let me start again...

Things to report month end: -

    1) Final spend tally

    2) Money transfer to spending account

    3) Money that is left over and what is it for.

    4) mission statuses

    5) Overall summary of the month.

Now what am I going to give myself for a budget for the rest of the month, we have 14 days left lets see...£160 for fuel food and play money, money transferred. I will also pay off the credit card now too...so there will be no need to have it about my person, or at least I hope not!

I have also created a new spending spreadsheet i'll show you what it looks like:-

And this is the only sheet I will look at throughout the month going forward now I have plans in place. I have hidden my credit cards in the hope that I won't find them unless it is a necessity and now only use debit card. Lets see what happens, I am afraid I am a bit addicted to credit cards and the feeling like money is water, which is dangerous ground - I know!

Wishing you all wonderful evenings. Crazy/ Bee XX
