I spoke to soon about having energy, I thought it was the time not working having a trick on me, turns out I am very tired, I had an early night and did what you should to wake up feeling absolutely knackered! I will find today very difficult at least I am at home, in the comfort of my own homeXX

I had more energy later and did a cracking day where I cleared off all my to dos and team leader let me leave early 20 mins better then a kick in the teeth! So all in all it feels very productive and enjoyable. I just had to get over that tired feeling in the morning, which I did and it turned out to be a good day.

7/19 no spends so doing well on that front...happy place!

I have eaten quite a bit of junk today, I don't think I am going to make any more flap jack it is too sickly and sweet and I have had enough and I have loads left, so I will try and think of something that is diabetes and diet friendly! Low fat sausage maybe!? Maybe make my own? oohh!

Lodger coming tomorrow, I have calculated the amount to receive for this month it is £395 which will help me at the end of the month. I have a few pots of money coming in benefits still and rent money plus the bank I switched with £180, I am strongly thinking now that I will pay MD & SFD back it works out actually to just over £2K, but I can pay it completely off if all goes to plan, I shouldn't have to pay tax this month, so I should get a boost there too. I look forward to the month end figures!

Otherwise I am looking forward to seeing how this lodger works out, he seems quite a sweety!

All the best for your evenings, CrazyXX

Do you not have the lodger pay the first month when they move in?

Hi Beanie, No I prefer it always to come on the first, that way when the end of the month comes and all the money is needed for bills I will have the £625 ready for then and a brand new £625 coming the day after. That way when I get my wages I will have for this month £395 at the end of the month which will be mine, you see I don't call it mine until the period is clear. I hope that makes sense, even with a one month notice period, this way I know where I am am.I know it is a bit strange and not many people do it, but I prefer it. XX

Just what suits you. I get just on half of what you do but I guess you live in or near to a city.

I do live down South/ Midlands, where the markets are steep - which is great because I bought my flat at a discounted price, so I am seeing quite a return, let me calculate I get to live here too ( albeit smaller room) plus I make 7% return on investment, That is quite good I don't need to say. Mine was the cheapest room on spare room also, however the more expensive properties were for houses and not flats.

As I was saying he has already offered to make fresh pasta and tirimisu on his day off, wowser, and he washed up tonight after I cooked the dinner, brownie points, yes! And we had a little natter. Plus he isn't celebrating Christmas because he is working, however I snuck in there and we agreed to have his work day off as Christmas day and celebrate then. So far so good! So I may get two Christmases!! And why the hell not!!

I have paid off some money from the credit card as I believe I can afford this the new balance now stands at £1800.00.

I have added a No Spend day total 8/19 up to yesterday, I am not sure about today?

Also check out this snip: -

If I pay back MD & SFD this month I am still likely to have some left over lolly! My other credit card is £-145 which will help with the rest of this months expenses such as groceries and fuel.

Also wages are very likely to be more because I won't need to pay tax straight away.

However lets see what a normal month looks like:-

I have to tell you it has been a long time since I had £1K left over money in fact I don't think it has happened before, this will be the first time! It looks like it will take a couple of months to pay off the Credit card, it will certainly help if I get £2K wages for the first two months actually as I should so lets see what that does for Octobers lolly!?: -

If the wages are a bit more and the spend a bit less, I could be on target to reach paying off credit card by EOM October. I am that close, that gives me more motivation to stick within my budget for this month which is : -

My shop is a bit over for the 20th something like £70! So I need to try and get that down a bit, I was going to make a beef stew but i'll save that for another month now and try and stck within target!

    Have a good day allXX
