You need to think about what would happen if you didn’t have people to bail you out. Do you really need all the things for the room? I think we all have standards but we sometimes have to lower them if we can’t afford them. Please take this in spirit in which it is meant. 🤗
I know you are right, I know I shouldn't expect MD & SFD to bail me out, in fact I am not planning to ask them to. I am hoping that I can sort my own life out by getting a lodger and a job! on That front I have a new person interested in the room, I am now waiting to hear back when he is ready to view! Also I am hoping I hear back from a company I applied for a job - also I have an interview for a garage, which would help.
Missions for the rest of the year:-

    1) Build up an emergency fund (EF)
    2) Improve spending habits.
    3) Create a budget that is compatible to me.
    4) Buy healthier snacks to avoid junk food splurges.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but you are broke, bee! Do you really need to buy all these things? Where are you getting them from? Is there not a charity shop near you or a thrift shop that you could get stuff from instead that would be a bit cheaper if you really do NEED them?

I get not wanting a lodger that you've never met and that's completely understandable but other than that I feel like you need to just get on with it, this is a business transaction not a way to meet a new best friend or soul mate. Also on the job front, good luck and I hope you find something soon, but again get anything you can, please don't be picky. Get what you can, get some money coming in and then when you've paid off your debt and more stable, look around for something that's more suited to want you want to do.

I'm sorry, I feel so mean saying this but I'm worried you're going to lose your place if you continue this way  x
I defo don't want to use the charity shop for bedroom interior but I understand where you are coming from. The whole reason is to make more money on the room from all of the expenditure. I have interest in the room, and the amount of money I will be getting would allow me to pay off the debt, it will take a while but it is 0% so there was just transfer fee which is less then my credit card bill would have been.

Also on the lodger front it is quite important to get the right person as the wrong person could make life a lot worse being in quite close proximity. However with the best of intentions that could still happen. I am quite lonely generally so it would be nice if we were more friendly and get along rather then seperate. But yes, I do see your point about it being more transactional and less pally. But wouldn't it be a good situation if we did get along quite well?

As long as I get a lodger in soon I am sure things will be much better and soon, you will start to see that balance diminish and I have no intention of getting anything else on credit, seriously!

    Thank you for caring.XX
