I have woken after a lay-in and feel better, at first I thought my head felt worse, but my body is thanking me. I think I want to get some lamb and do a lamb curry with chickpeas and sweet potato, I also want to get special prepared garlic this means I need to go location about 15 miles away to do a bit of a shop, I think I will also get a pizza for the week and butter for the flapjack (I was going to use oil, but butter is better), I may also make a cake slice it up and freeze in slices, I might do the same to the flapjack!

So the idea is today will not be a no spend day however with the food prep I am hoping to avoid spending the rest of the week. So that is the game plan for today!

OMG never go shopping, only go online shopping because OM I have gone way over on any budget I would have liked plus now I have to cook today and tomorrow!! I spent £69, I know the lamb was £20 or so but I off cuff planned a roast for tomorrow chicken £7 and all the trimmings this is the new plan of action:-

    1) Rest and have lunch

    2) Grease and line tin for cake & Flap jack

    3) Prepare curry

    4) Make flapjack and oven bake

    5) Wash up

    6) Put curry in the oven

    7) prepare roast for tomorrow

    7.5) Wash up

    7.6) Sort washing

    8) have dinner

    9) R&R for the rest of the weekend

In my defence I haven't had a roast for a long time nor lamb, so I need to make sure I take my time with cooking and get it just right!

I can't help but feel excited for Monday morningXX

    Sometime later.....

I have got a curry in the oven, Flap jack is cooling, carrots and parsnips are prepped and so is the cauliflower cheese, just the potatoes to prep next and wash up again and only then I might be able to properly relax!

    Sometime later.....

The potatoes are boiling and the washing up is almost complete, I now realise I need to sort washing out, so that is before relaxation!

I think I did well not doing the Victoria sponge because I am just about on time as it is! I did delete the action off the list earlier!

Maybe I'll save the washing for tomorrow, I don't think I can do anything else!

sometime later...The potatoes are done, the curry is still cooking and the washing up is complete, now some serious R&R!!

sometime later...The curry is done and seems good, I have got 6 portions for another day and dinner is in the oven, timed very well!

Today, is going to be a bit more leisurely than yesterday however there is still a few jobs to do. There is a bit of washing up to sort, then washing in the washing machine and washing to put on, then I need to put on the roast also prep for lunch tomorrow and then a final washing up after the roast.

I was and have started to write a few words, maybe try and get up to 12000 which now is another 800 words to reach maybe more. I also want to add a no spend day which would make it 8/19 for the month, pretty low but something to improve upon on for the next month.

Tomorrow I plan on leaving at around 7:30am so I need to get up at 6:30am if I am going to have all my brekkie which cosists of cereal and toast, I am considering utilising my quorn sausages cook them all and take them as a snack also (2 per day) I would do this to avoid snacking and buying something whilst in town. I am to be at the office at 9am, to get free parking I would need to park up the road which is about 10 minute walk away, I want to do this however my leg has been problematic however I think the walk would do it good but then I am likley to get a fair amount of exercise even if I parked nearer, I'll go for free parking and see how I cope on the first day, if it is bad I will park nearer the next day. On that thought I better had my new boss and directors number in my phone, so I can contact them if I have problem getting into the building - Done!

I think I need a motivational list to work from this morning, I want to do the chores first, so it is out the way:-

    1) Sort out bedroom bin

    2) Wash up

    3) sort washing

    4) Put washing on

    5) Rest then write at least 800 more words.

    6) Rest and read

    7) put roast on at 11:30hrs

    8) Eat

    9) Take MD and SFD their roast and stay with them for a bit

    10) come home and wash up if not before.

    11) Treat yourself to ice cream.

    12) rest and get ready.

Thanks newstart I really appreciate the comment, I am hoping I now have enough easy go to meals to last for a while thank you. I have just written 2000 words I am up to 13000 words altogether which is 13-16% of the way there. I am now going to leisurely get dressed and ready for the day then I am going to cook the roast, enjoy MD & SFDs company. Then go home maybe do some reading, rest and last bit of prep before setting alarm and going for an early nights sleep. Thank you and I hope your day is enjoyable also XX
