It was a good day, however I worry there was a bit of friction between me and the team leader which is not good, I kept feeling pressure like she was mad at me, I held back and it went, we did seem to get on otherwise, so hopefully all good, lets seeXXI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Well done on getting through day one which is usually a total overwhelm of everything!
I found it helpful to the remember the following statement when I start worrying about something without clear reason - "Thoughts are not facts". It's from CBT therapy and you can read more about it but basically it means that the narratives we create in our heads are not objective truths and can be influenced by mood, insecurities, previous experiences etc.
Unless you get specific feedback then there is nothing to suggest that they are feeling negatively about you. I know this very well cause a few people told me when they first met me they thought I didn't like them when it was absolutely not the case - just my stern looking face and straight way of talking I guess ha!

I have to say what is motivating me mostly is money and doing a good job, I still feel absolutely tired this morning, I have an appointment with Health practitioner this morning so a late start to work, so I have a bit of time, and I can say I don't feel like a refreshed bunny this morning, ahh well and the thought that I could pay off my credit card at the end of the month feels good also MD said because I haven't paid tax for most of the year that I should get a tax break, so I should get something like £2K instead of £1770 which is what I would normally get. And that thought alone is keeping me going! And I really want to do a good job so I am motivated to perform well.
I think they say money as motivator is not a good thing, but I can honestly say I feel like a wreck going to work and there is not much else that will motivate me, MD said not to worry and that once I am homeworking it won't be so bad. I think she is right. She also said I would like the change when I go to the office normally.Mission Number One: Get a job!
