Crazy, you need to change your attitude, you're spending like you're not poor. All these things can wait until you get a job. If you're desperate to spend money, better get yourself on Udemy and find Excel or some bookkeeping "zero to hero" courses that will keep your mind occupied and help you to upskill and become an even better candidate for the job. You really need to prioritise better and stop the excuses. When do you need to start paying your mortgage again?

Thanks @RedLipstick I know I need to but I also don't have money for food or fuel, all the money I have is for bills so I need the credit card. I am using OPs to pay the mortgage which is still quite healthy. So I just need a lodger and or job, this will happen in time I am just buying time. I know I need to stop using the credit card like it is free money that is for certain, but I still need the CC unless I ask MD to borrow £1700 which I don't want to do and which I may not need to totally. I am needing to use my mind over matter to do this, I literally have £400.14 coming in which is not enough to cover all the bills, so once I get a lodger there is some more freedom and especially if I utilise the larger room there will be an excess of circa £200 if I don't have interest to pay on the CC which can then be used to pay off the CC. It all hinges on tomorrow and whether I can get in the smaller room - sounds daft but I am actually excited with the prospect and the possibility of having excess money each month with having a lodger.

I like the idea of looking up some courses, I did actually sign up for a course with local college for September actually two courses to help get into payroll as an extension to my AAT accounts certificates. I will look up Udemy to see if there is anything that can help there too thanks for the idea.

Now the table is up and I think I will be okay working from it, it is smaller which is to be expected owed to lack of space in the smaller room but it will fit the computer and a chair fits comfortably underneath it, so all good, it will be even better when there is a weight on it as it is quite lightweight. Gosh it took a bit of putting together 20 screws all very tight, arm ache!

I have stopped spending on home furnishings now it is just snacks that I am still buying, I did find when I had something to do like make a cake and then snack on it I didn't go out so often to buy snacks. Sadly I did buy lunch out today while I was getting fuel I did visualise myself not spending on snacks and just fuel, but in the end my naughty side won, I wasn't even that keen tbh. I think I am done with snacks, I certainly need a few days off of snack buying. I have a shop coming next week I will make sure there is some cake making things with what I get within the budget.

The house is a bit grungey today, well the floor and where I have been is, however I am waiting to do a thorough clean tomorrow after the carpenter has been, Like chievely said I will probably need to do some painting, touch up work to get a good finish before moving into the room, so it will porbably be Tuesday before I can move in...lets see? I will take photos - ooh that reminds me I better go and do a before shot.XX
