Hi Guys, I have done something a bit crazy, I have told new room mate that I have changed my mind after receiving quite a few shouting text messages from him. Also he asked why and I told him, that I think he was looking for a deaf reason as he is deaf, but actually it comes down to being rude! He may have issues from being deaf but quite frankly I don't want to be a part of that.
So I am going to have to put the ad up again, but I am going to leave it until I have decided which room will be put up for rent, as I do quite like my room, however with the changes I may get £600 for it anyhow then I still have my bedroom and the extra money. I am just thinking that I may not have someone here anymore, because I have done the calculations even with that amount of money coming in visa vie the job and room I still won't reach goals, So I may as well try my best to score a job and live alone, this way there is no risk of being with the wrong person. And I think I prefer my own company.
So next week is critical to me getting a job, the sooner the better I feel much better albeit I have a bad cough (Which didn't help in todays interview although they were both very kind today and I would be glad to work for them). I think if I got offered the job there I would take it. I should hear next week fingers crossed. XXMission Number One: Get a job!

Okay so the new roomie may still be coming I told him the reason and he said he didn't realise it was offensive but his colleagues have told him that it is and he apologised. So I said he could come, he was actually quite nice in his response. So I feel okay again. Tonight I have a lot to get done, however I am feeling really hot but I need to crack on with jobs so it doesn't look like a dump if he turns up tomorrow, we did agree the afternoon but not sure of the exact time or if I have frightened him off. lets see. Therefore a list is needed:-
1) Clean kitchen and wash up.
2) empty bins
3) hoover - I better leave this for the morning now as it is a bit too late now!
4) Mop - same here
5) take out loose screw of toilet seat clean and leave to dry.
6) change bed linen
7) Put washing on
8) Clear desk and move to bedroom. Yay it fits!
9) clear bedside and change bedside cabinets. Done I now have a nice bedside.
10) re-arrange sitting room back to normal! - almost just need a sitting room furniture jiggle and it will be done - I need the charity to pick up furniture next week, I need to add to the lot.
I really feel too hot, i'll see what I can do, I do think I am getting used to the hotter weather, but I really do hate the feeling rather like I hate feeling a bit cold in the winter months Spring & Autumn are bestXX
Sometime later - Everything is much better, hoover and mop tomorrow and bins and it will be sorted. I am pleased that my new desk fits in my room, also the new cupboard can stay however it does need to be moved slightly once the other furniture is gone.
I still don't know if the potential new room mate is coming, he has gone quiet, MD said she expected that, he may not come now because I flip flopped, i'll give him a bit of time to respond I do have £100 of his which he gave me to hold the room so I know he will come back to me, I just need to wait.
Actually if he doesn't come it will allow me to sort the room better and maybe I could make more on the smaller room just a thought. Anyhow I can make do with the money as is, it just would have been nice for more wiggle room.
I am actually looking forward to his arrival should he choose to come here, I think I like having someone about.

I am not feeling tired so I have been planning the lodgers room and I was careful to spend on 9th August and not the 8th so I keep my no spend days intact for 8th. I have purchased a bedside cabinet I spent less and will have to assemble, but it will; fit in the little space there is making it a better space without having to encroach on any other area of the room. I think It is still worth sorting the cupboard out which is currently above the bed because then you can have your head at the top and everything nicely slots in. Although I will be in debt. If the new roomie does not take the room I will get the room sorted then put it up for £600, if the lodger does take it I think I will still get the cupboard sorted because then I am making the room the best that it could be. I am now feeling tired so I will send myself to bedfordshire...Sweet DreamsXX

Well the new lodger is not taking the room I messed it up as I usually do, however MD said, if you are alone and need of friend a deaf person who can only communicate by text is not ideal, you can't have a little natter or share banter or the days events smoothly. She thinks I would be better off with a communicable person like the last lodger. Anyhow the point is moot he is not coming and that has been decided.
I have messaged one of the other potential lodgers, so lets see what comes of it, also I have put the room at £550, as I felt £600 was too steep, but I felt that it would still help out a bit having it at the slightly higher rate.
Using the credit card does mean that I feel I can use it carte blanche again, it is not very smart, I don't actually have any money left for food this month, I think I can survive with mostly what I have in I think since today is spending day I will get a few things that will stretch the food I have in a little further, sticking to a strict shopping list and I really must be mindful not to get anything I don't need or excesses. If I am to use the CC, I am to be smart with it, I just need it until someone new comes or I get a job and I can start to pay it off again.

I am feeling positive today and I would like to achieve a few things therefore a list is required as a motivational tool:-
0.5) Prepare for hoovering
0.75) Do the bins
1) Hoover
2) Mop
3) Prepare Lasagne
3.5) Operation clean up kitchen!
4) clean and dry toilet and toilet seat, take out screw and leave to dry - ready to screw back later.
4.5) Fix toilet seat.
5) Clean bathroom
6) Move items in living room to their rightful place.
7) Move furniture to its proper place.
6) Clean dining room table.
7) Look about buying curtain as cheaply as possible for the wardrobe - but do not buy today. I found some curtains that I love but they are not cheap (£79), I may wait until I have got a job!
8) Try not to spend today at all. FAIL!
8.5) order online the next shop.
9) Look for a job & Apply & Update UC
10) R&R
Today I feel better again, however I still have a cough. I have plenty of energy to tackle the list I just put the things I least look forward to at the top of the list therefore I am procrastinating as much as possible 🤣
sometime later...
I am really glad I did those chores so far I have got up to the mopping which I barely do and should do more, I am soo so glad it is done! I am just waiting for it to dry then I can get on to the next activity - which is make a lasagne! I'll be chuffed when this is done! Those curtains I saw that I like are the black & White curtains I have seen at Ikea and I think it would make the room look great, they are for the wardrobe, I do have differently patterned bedding and window curtains but I think it would still work for the wardrobe. This is them - I lurrv them! Nothing like a bit of window shopping !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sometime later...
I have been super naughty I bought curtains plus a couple of other needed items only because I am trying to get the place looking good for perspective lodgers, I spent £105.50 on the credit card it is too much credit card debt is increasing - however If I can get the place just right it will be all good in the end, I am actually hoping to move into the smaller room. If I don't hear anything by the end of the week from messages I will take down the ad, move into the smaller room, once the work is finished and then readvertise the room as a double. I didn't want to do this but I really need the extra money!
Sometime later....
MD and I are in conflict because my sister has moved her car in the drive and put it in the way, it is an extra obstacle which I don't need if MD wants to take me out then either my sister needs to move the car forward or have someone else do it. Every time I take MD I need to really push myself because of the knightmare that it is to take her and her chair out as she is disabled I don't need extra issues with something that is already driving me up the wall. However MD doesn't want to hurt my sisters feelings, she has now said that she will go by bus everywhere which suits me quite frankly.
Just one final push to complete the list, I think I will wait until after tea to clean the dining table when I am washing up.Mission Number One: Get a job!

I visited MD last night, perhaps I was too honest as she was upset about being disabled and said she can't do anything, I feel for her I really do and I hope she feels better soon. She said I call to much so I am giving her her space today. I think I have called more because I am stressed and worried and I am alone now that my room mate has gone. It will only do me a favour if I stop at any rate, I have felt out of control lately, I also keep feeling hungry.
Today I will try and apply for more jobs and maybe write a bit and try and stay in and not spend any moneyXXMission Number One: Get a job!

I am not shopping but I could do with seeing if I can find some black and white duvet sets for the main bedroom so it is less girly and more neutral and maybe curtain too to give it a better look, so a man would be happy in my room also. I have good news I have booked in a carpenter for the cupboard in the spare room the ad is down so once I have decided what I am doing with the spare room whether I stay in the master room or use the spare I am almost undecided, but I think becasue I need the money it wouldn't hurt.
MD said it was like giving up having a single bed, but I honestly don't see it that way because situations change, also I have never had a man back since I started living here! I am actually looking forward to living in the spare room, that sounds a bit strange right? It has nice light and I could make quite a good space out of it. Once I am moved in I will then put a new ad up for the larger room. But before then I will get everything right for the smaller room I have to assemble the bedside which is annoying but cheaper then getting someone else to do, Also I need to assemble the new desk which will come Next Saturday.
I am happy about making more of the space and potentially living there, It is quite exciting, as sad as that sounds!Mission Number One: Get a job!

I had an interview today, it did go quite well, however there was another role with more money which starts temp and could go perm for the right person, It looks to be quite a quick turnaround for recruiting plus it is hybrid. I have also been told that I am still in for the running for job I went for last week which would be better in all honesty only because it will be doing more then just AP. But I was rejected for that initially lets see, so it looks like I am going down the AP route, which is okay there are more jobs and I can do the job quite well however I will take the first job I think, I can't risk it going south. Also there was another role I went for last week. I think I am on the cusp of a job offer, I just need it to come into fruition, lets see.
Today I did a thing...I assembled the bedside pictured ..here...and it works!
See how it all fits nicely, it really is not a bad room, you see the cupboard to the left of the head end of the bed, that is the bit that needs removing so there is more room and so you don't hit your head, there is a bit more room the other end, enough space to put a desk in, also a rug has been ordered as well as new bedding and curtains, so very spendy day, potentially I got a bit carried away, but my spending has come to an end officially now.
Back on the job front, I would be most psyched about the job I went for last Friday because of the beautiful journey, beautiful office, the role and the money ain't bad neither. I am also keen about the role I went for and was rejected initially because the people were nice and the job has a lot of promise. I am keen about the job I went for today because the poeple were nice. And I am keen about several other roles I have been put forward for. So If I don't have a job to go to by the end of the month I will be very surprised!
Also I am excited about the changes to this bedroom and the master, particularly this one as it looks like I am moving in here! I look forward to putting the furniture in their final place, I may move into different positions yet still, however I am glad they fit like this. So I have Furniture being collected on Thursday by a charity from the living room, then I will have a shuffle and move the furniture in the spare room to the living room so there is room for the carpenter on Monday. Then Monday onwards will be about moving into the small room and presenting the bigger room and final touches. Then the ad will go up.
Diet wise I am not doing well, but I have a plan in place for tomorrow, if I can't make it through tomorrow I will re-consider my tactics. Spending not so good either. I need everything to settle down now over the next few days. Making a mental note now, that if I can't manage the diet to just eat more and don't go out spending! Have toast or a bigger bowl of cereal. Enjoy your eveningXX
