Thanks Farmers wife for dropping by, I have thought about that but I don;'t want to mess anyone around as there is training involved and a certain amount of time required, if I were to get paid work the charity would lose out as I would need to apply myself to the paid work. However if Things don't change soon I made need to do something like that to show that I have done something. However I have started another story and I still need to proof read the story I created before getting into the new story, I am considering advertising the new book, I have been told by two people that it is written well and flows well, I just hope there are poeple out there who would enjoy the story I have created and can review it. I have another viewing today at 1pm - good job I have done the chores! I have also been to MDs to offer some help and to give her another copy (numbered this time) of my book. Have a good day allXX

I think my book is ready to publish, I have a front cover for it which I designed and I have read it about 5-10 times, my lodger say to read a few more times more just to make sure I have done all corrections. I am also considering trying to get in contact with a few publishers to see if I can get an offical publisher or whether to keep going by Amazon alone, there is also the option to advertise on Amazon as well as submit the book, however this could be costly, but it could just take a little advertising to take off. 

I back my book and so does my lodger (although I think he politely said it was not to his usual taste) but that it flowed very well, he said usually he can't keep reading but my book he could, which is quite a boost! Also MD said that is was written well and also liked that the chapters followed on from each other, the same way that the lodger liked it.

I have also done a front cover for the book using paint on my computer, I hope I don't get any copyright issues, I have found some images on the net and created a digital collage that is about different bits in the story, I think it looks quite professional, at least not too amatuerish.

Also I have had to re-publish all books (the short stories I did earlier) and I decided to put them all in my own name, so I won't be advertising here as I would like to remain anonymous. I have still to publish the latest longer story, I am just going to read a few more times before publishing. It is quite exciting, I don't think it is a bad book and I agree with MD that it is not badly written but whether anyone appreciates the story is another matter. It would be good to get the first review.

Now that I am not hearing from any job, I will keep applying but I will now spend most my time writing, I like being at home and I like creating, this could be good for me, of course money would be good but I just need to make do with what I have for now, Something funny happened today MD said to my sister that I was writing books and had published, she got in a mood and said that I must be making a lot of money, as I have not been in work for some time. MD lied and said she didn't know if I had made any money, she thought it was funny and had a laugh at my sisters expense. 🤣🤣🤣 (by the way this is a difficult sister!). Anyhow maybe one day I will be earning a bit, but I won't flaunt it, espcially not at my sister, that would be cruel. I am just glad this time hasn't been wasted and that even if it is not a success I have achieved something and got something out there and it has been a learning experience, also I can work as fast or as slow as I want, also I have another idea for another book, I am going for it again once this book is out there I wil start on the next, actually I secretly have already started only a page, but I have ideas for it..perhaps the next Katie fforde, eh?! (In my dreams!).

Today I feel sad that I haven't heard about the job, apparently they are all still interviewing still looking for that unicorn, which I am not although I have not been rejected! Also I am sad because I have done some research and my book is way too short I have done 30,000 words and to be considered by literary agents you need to have done at the very least 75,000.

I don't seem to have a lot on what with no job and no surveys, so I will do some more writing I had started another book but now I will continue with the book I thought was finished with! The good thing is I did a paragraph about what their lives would be like following on from the story I had just written so I have some ideas to get going on. It was 82 pages I guess it needs to be more like 180 pages.

The thing is I don't have a lot of confidence even though my mum and lodger are supporters I don't know if I will make a success of it! Anyhow I can only try. I really feel I should have a job!

Okay I have picked myself up, dusted myself down and attended an interview for a temp potentially perm role. AND Drum rolll please.....dadada....I have a job to go to on Monday!! It has finally happened, I am going to go to work on Monday, I can't quite believe it. It feels everso anti climatic, I am here on my own and MD didn't seem ever so excited yet I am here and I was told that I had nothing to worry about as I interviewed well...wowser!! I have 8 weeks to prove myself and then it is between me and one other and apparently I have the upper hand because of my location but we will see, I have to really apply myself now. Wish me luck for MondayXX

Very well done CB , all your hard work has paid off . Maybe you caught mum at a bad time , make sure , apart from interviewing lodger that you have a nice restful weekend . It will probably take you a few days to get into a routine , again we'll done ! Xx
