Hi CB , so glad you are feeling a bit brighter today, don't like to hear that you are feeling low . Always remember the job situation is dire for everyone at the moment, at least you have had a few interviews, not everyone even gets that far ! I think with the lodger situation you probably want your home to yourself but you know you need the money so maybe that's the issue there . Totally with your mum or the heat ! Hopefully she is also feeling better today xxx1

Thank you @Newstartforme I really appreciate the sentiment, I feel okay thank you, it is possible some good news is around the corner that is what my lodger keeps saying, he is very sweet. MD does feel and sound much brighter today which is good, I did tell her that if she needs me to today to just call, also I am being aware of myself and not calling all the time. Which means I need to do something productive with my time... I was thinking of doing some of the jobs around the place that I have put off for some time such as dusting so a trusty list to get me in the mood...
1) Dust bedroom window
2) sort out and use chest of drawers in bedroom
3) sort paperwork in bedroom
4) chuck toilet seat and boxes
5) sort out clothes in chest of drawers and wardrobe storage.
6) sort out drawers in bedside
Above is all within my bedroom, I'll do another room another day, there is plenty to sort here first, also I could put some of my bags on vinted or ebay just thinking about it and clothing too, yes I'll try and create more space in my room today, slim line and make some money mission!
Have a good day all that pass here and even those that don't!XX
Sometime later...
I am having a lunch break before completing points 5&6, I am very pleased with the effects of the first few things completed, it is sort of spurring me on!! I love a trusty list!!
Sometime later...
I spoke too soon, I feel pooped I have had lunch and washed up, now I feel hot and not up for anything, at least I have made progress and the place looks a bit better!
Sometime later...
I have sorted the chest of drawers, nothing much to sell except a hoody and it is for winter so not really a good time to sell! I feel so hot right now a cool shower would be good, but i'll leave it.. next bed side.
Sometime later...
Bedside done, bedroom is organised it will be a hop skip and a jump and then i'll be wanting to get the winter wear back out!! I have been thinking about space I could do with some shelving in the corner for the office corner in my bedroom so that I can store equipment and put the printer on so I can make full use of my desk at the moment the printer is on the edge of the desk, taking up a third of the space.
Sometime later...
I have had a sort through the cd drawers and sold £40 worth of cds, I have a pile that didn't sell so I'll see about throwing or selling to another company or send to charity, I did buy parcel tape £2, stamps £13.60 and spent near £40 this morning on provisions so I have still over spent, I need to get back in the drivers seat. I feel like I am at lodgers whim, which is crazy as that is all he is a lodger! Hard to say but true!!
I will try music magpie next already used world of books!0 -
I used music magpie for the rest and made over the day £60, not a huge amount considering what was spent but better then nothing so now I think I am up on the day, but not by a lot! Tomorrow I will be absent as I am on a road trip with lodger, we are getting up at god awful hour to get to event early we will be there all day and then a long journey back in the heat no less! I am dreading it, If I could choose I wouldn't go, but for some unknown reason I feel obliged to go! I know I am a sucker!
Anyhow I best be going to bed now, if I am going to be up at 4:30 am...eak!

Well you know how when you plan things and you probably shouldn't have tried, well I have been for a 2.5 hour journey this morning to take lodger part way (to event) to meet a friend, as said friend didn't get out of bedfordshire, I only hope now they are on their way to the event. Anyhow Lodger paid me £30 for fuel, and I was so hungry when I got back that I bought a sausage sandwich from local bakery not to mention a couple of extras costing £7.90, I am expected to do the same tomorrow, which I am happy to. I can't chat long as MD needs groceriesXX

Okay I am back from all duties ...I think! there is a small possibility that I need to go back to location this morning where i dropped off lodger to pick up lodger, but we will see. I don't mind too much as it is his favourite thing (The event that is) to do he is all gooey after a day doing what he is doing and lovely to be around 😘 Anyhow I am free for now, I did quite well sorting out the room yesterday, there is still one area that needs sorting that is - Under the bed, I am hoping there are some things I can sell there. Otherwise I am going to quietly relax for and rest for the dayXX0

Weekend done, now for the start of the week I need to get the place ship shape by doing my weekly chores, I say this now while it is cool!
1) Hoover
2) Mop
3) Change bed linen
4) Clean bathroom
5) tidy
6) Clean dining table
7) R&R!
Have a good day allXX
Now those chores are done I am a free agent! not quite MD wants to go out!0
