What is that book that you'll be reading? I too have a couple on my list, also for my job - I have started in Sep and although I often feel like I "just started", there is so much on my plate that I didn't even expect that I have to learn a lot on the go! Enjoy your day!

Edit: Ah I've replied to the post from 11 am and didn't see the info about new job start. Good luck on Monday!!

Thanks @beanielou viewing has just happened he seems young and quite sweet, I think he will be okay. But he has another viewing and he suggested that he was keen to come here, but would let me know likely later today.

Thanks @RedLipstick the book is 'Learn Excel 2013' Expert skills it is an old book, but excel is excel there is not a lot different these days! I did go through some of it before, I will select a couple of chapters that I think might help and go through them after lunch now.

I have been busy this morning, trying to wrangle companies to pay up:- 1) a faulty top i sent back with a return, they said they have processed the refund, but I bet it hasn't happened, I will call next time, 2) Arrange for refund on negative bill from old phone provider, done, 3) wrangle the last place I worked to get last pay off, they said it would be here today or tomorrow, latest next week. The money seems to be coming back to me.

Anyhow for the rest of the day it is lunch and excel, I am happy about this!

I can't use the book it is too old, the link for data I was going to use for it has expired...another thing to add to the wish list, an excel book!

Ah what a shame about the book! You could check charity shops if you don't mind a used one - they are all over the shops where I live, or I just tend to buy on e8ay, they are often in an almost new condition, I guess people buy and hardly use.

Good luck with the tenant, I hope you will hear back from him!

Thanks @Redlipstick I will check the charity shop in town at the weekend thanks for the idea, there very well could be one. Hopefully I will hear today about the lodger, but I did say to him I would prefer to hear by the end of the week, - out of me and the other person, the other place is £625 (mine £400), I looked it up on spare room where he was going to visit after me, and it looks a little tired tbh although it is self contained so he wouldn't bump into me like at mine, hopefully he will pick me! I will update the thread when I know.

I have just been planning the next two shops it is important that I get it right because I don't want to go over budget for the week. So it takes careful planning, I am known to change it about 100 times before finalising.

There is nothing on the tv, MD is busy tomorrow with my sister and I have nothing to do...I know I will check the charity shops out, however I didn't want to spend money, however I have some old scratch cards I can cash in and not doing anything so I may very well get a no spend day tomorrow after all! I could also look for some moulds (as I would have enough money!) although I doubt I'll get any, however I do need a new square cake tin too, I have £14 cash on the scratch cards (I have accounted for the money to buy the scratch cards already, so cashing them in would mean I would be using free money!! and I can keep my day a no spend day. I may go to Boots also and get something from my shop and change my shop again if there is change (cotton wool buds!!). Maybe buy a fiction book too! Lets see what £14 free money gets me tomorrow!! I love a challenge!! I'll go and see if I have any boots points too!

you are right @beanielou yes I am planning to go to the library, but last I checked they don't have any academic books (rarity), however I have two fiction books out from the library right now the first was a great read and the second is shaping up to be good too, I was going to go there tomorrow take out a new one and take one back and renew one.

I have just done the incredible, call me crazy! (hey that is my alias name!!) but I have just been on a very big tour of the net and came across the entremets moulds I want with good reviews, for similar moulds from Amazon they were £40.72 and from Temu they were £15.90, that is a saving of £24.82, and now I have a reason one I will cash in the £14.00 and bank it, then I will prolific my butt tomorrow (and tonight if any appear)  in the hopes that I can cash out soon and add to the £14 so that I can make a purchase and I can take it off the desired list at the end of the month also, reducing my expenses somewhat. If I can do the prolific first thing and cash out straight away, I will use the remainder of the money and buy the excel book if I find one in the charity shop tomorrow. Tonight is shaping up to be fantastic, I feel amazing, money saving is the way!! LOL!! If I find that excel book tomorrow I will be on cloud 9 for sure...gosh cheap thrills! LOL!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
