Today has been sort of good, I have been to the interview this afternoon, and it sort of went okay, I didn't do wonders on the test, But I explained myself well, so I am in with a chance, and after talking to the lady I realised I did want the job. Even though I was plagued by negative feelings.

Also I have written a bit more on my novel and I have done a bit more to my hallway. Overall I am pleased with progress, I have also completed MDs Story I just need confirmation from MD that she is happy to go with it.

Also I have started another journal purely for weightloss on the forum it can be found in Health board, It is called CrazyBees weightloss journey.

I have sold a total of two books, I think by both people I know!

Ohh and I had a brain wave that is I need to make money from writing so Why not advertise to write peoples stories, true stories, so if people have been thinking they have a story to tell, I go and research and then compose a draft and send it to them for cash, and even publish it on Kindle, I have no idea if it will work but it is worth a try. I want to ask the lodger if I can use his life to write a story, so I'll have three for people to look at before they decide to go for it, and I will only add more! (I am asking the lodger tonight over dinner! if he is interested that is.)

I didn't ask the lodger in the end he didn't get something that I had cooked as by the time he got home it was all eaten and washed up! Also I have already back out of my weightloss goals, I cancelled my food order or at least changed it to quicker foods, except I am going to make a lasagne and meatballs! and I bought more coco pops! (the cheap version!) I also bought lots of unhealthy things I feel a bit of a fool.

I may be a fool where food is concerned but I have done some positive things so far this morning, and yes it is still morning! I have finished the hallway which I have to say is pleasing, just waiting for the paint to dry then I can take down the masking tape and put back pictures etc.

Also I have now uploaded my new book which is now in review I am pleased to say. It is another short story, but I am pleased with it and I have done something that mum wanted doing for herself...I have actually taken the next step and done it!

I still have my novel to work on, but not now, today I need to do some cooking is the next step, then hopefully housework, I may do housework first, decisions!

I hope all who pass here have an enjoyable day XX

I have taken down the masking tape the edges are very crisp..i'll show you first the before then the after...

Everytime I go in the hallway I can't help but look, I am very pleased with it. It looks very professional.

Also I have other good news my lodger has agreed to let me write his story, I think it could be beneficial to young males considering suicide, my lodger has said he will answer questions and send on the presentation he once did for youngsters to help them avoid suicide. I have to be really careful how I word it I don't want to send someone off on the wrong foot, so a lot of thought will go into it and I will print up a draft when it is done and let the lodger read it to see if he wants to change it and ask his opinion. I am looking forward to writing it, I hope that doesn't come off badly, but I have heard a lot in my life time of people who have wanted to commit suidcide and if I can get a book out there that stops one death, or even just enlightens someone, then our job is done.

I feel quite a bit more tired this week, I did feel very tired going to the interview this week, MD said that would be the stress, but it felt more then that. Anyhow I am not put off If I get the job I will go for it. I have another interview on Monday, which reminds me I have to prepare for it. I think I will do it tomorrow with fresh eyes..I should be doing housework tomorrow..but I am thinking of putting it off until Monday afternoon..lets see how I feel in the morning.

This is looking fantastic, well done!! I really like the colour, it works very well with the white and has a nice balance to it. Professionally looking finish for sure!

Great to hear writing is going well and your lodger will help, this is such a sensitive topic but I'm sure you'll do well.

Wishing you a nice, quiet and relaxing evening, you do have a lot on your hands lately, do not feel guilty for taking some time for yourself and needed headspace for the interview prep, housework can wait xx

Thank you so much...you are right a lot is going on...yesterday I felt like I had a full time job writing, I started the day with decorating, then I made a lasagne, then I wrote until gone 5PM, and although it is nice to write because you can create all sorts of stories and fictitious characters, I also felt a bit tired from it, as it is hard going when you write all the time. I think I will take a breather today so I am refreshed for tomorrows interview at the very least.

I am enjoying writing though, I have written that my character comes up with beer names and markets them...so far she has come up with some corkers! (I'll tell you one...'Pirates armpit') There are others which are quirky, but I must keep the lid on it.

Ooh and I have found my first problem with the pseudonym I have chosen and that is I have found another writer with the same name, admittedly their stuff is from 2012, but still I would have liked my own name, I think for the book I am writing now I will use my real name. However I have only written 17 A4 pages which equates to 38 kindle pages, which I guess is not bad, but MD says books tend to be 300/136 A4 pages long so I need to get to 136 A4 pages at least so I need another 119 A4 Pages which I think is going to stretch me somewhat, I have plenty of ideas to progress the story but can I make it to 136 Pages...wow an awful lot more has got to happen and there is plenty of room for story, just it is a long way to go! Eak have I bitten off more then I can chew?

Just used the correct tools and thank you, I know a local trade decorator shop so I went and found professional masking tape, it works so much better then the generic shop bought stuff, which I tried using previously and failed with. The first or 'Before shot' was just cutting in the second shot is professional masking tape which works a treat!
