Hope all goes well with gp appointment and subsequent benefit appointment. You might feel less pressured if you know you can cope financially with a job under 16 hours , also I think that will be more manageable for you going forward as you help your mum such a lot xx

Good luck with the GP visit and any assessment, and of course collect all the evidence you can from over the years. I wouldn't rely on the better quality of life though. Not to get into politics, but keep in mind the UK approach to caps, cuts, and all the plans for benefits reductions, I hope it's not going to impact your mental health going through the process. Also, please don't plan for benefits money until you have it in black and white.

Don't want to out myself with what I do for living but please, don't rely fully on ChatGPT advice, especially when it comes to mental health, and any other LLMs (Large Language Models) supporting any medical self diagnosis (i.e. it's telling you you're experiencing hallucinations), speak to professional. These tools are built to be positive and encouraging, and although under relevant governance/compliance are not classified as high risk, they are classified as general purpose AI, not for medical self diagnosis. Please only rely on advice given in regulated medical setting.

I think you have summed up well. My personal thoughts are that you need to be doing some form of volunteering to give you some sort of structure 🤗. Even just a couple of weeks shifts a week.

Hi Bee , glad the lady got back to you . Glad you got some time with mum today . Regarding all the different jobs , you have certainly tried very hard but that also won't be good for you mentally , never having stability for very long isn't a nice feeling . Good luck for anything you have on this week xx
