Not much news to report, still no lodger and nothing new on the job front. Hospital appointment went okay yesterday, also old lodger leaving went okay, he left a little note and a couple of his possessions, so I am expecting to see him again, but maybe not? he said he lost his mobile while riding his bike, I emailed him about his possessions we will see. His room smells a bit I have ousted it, and will smell again tomorrow. I am hoping I can get the smell out before the next potential lodger visit.

I spent 32.90 last week on two lunches and some junk food to stuff myself with, well today I have bought some groceries spending £51.50 and of that £21.10 on 5 lunches, I have had one of the lunches today rather then save for the week and boy was it good, I really enjoyed it, I will defo be having again! XL wrap, Falafel and houmous and cabbage (plus kit kat and yoghurt). Did you know a cup of cabbage has half your Vitamin K needs? I am becoming healthy, well maybe not quite yet, but this wrap has put me ahead!! 😁😁😁

November has seen me Spend, Spend, Spend! I need to get myself into a better position with money, there are some times where I do well and other times where I cannot remain controlled, but not having a regular routine or structure does not help. So my goals are the same get a perm job, get a lodger and curb spending.

I do think that the falafel wraps however silly it sounds was exactly what I am after healthy, nutritious, better on the wallet and has maximum pleasure value. If you are going to eat right eat to enjoy. Also I have just looked up a recipe and I think it will be much cheaper again to make them! I have made my own recipe from the internet version and I am going to give it a go next week - Yippee!

Today is a semi lazy day, I am doing the odd chore mixed in with relaxing and gearing myself up for tomorrow. Nothing too strenous I am still a bit tired from the anaesthetic don't worry only local, still it had its effect.

    Have a good day allXX

Today has been another action packed day at the office, still plenty to do for the time being, I also have some news I have been put forward for a hybrid role 30 min drive, full finance function plus office admin/ managment. There will be a team of 7 males, very testosteroney! The role sounds positive, I have asked to be put forward at 30K and why not?! Huh!?

I have spent, spent, spent again I do seem to be taming myself though, so hopefully I can control this need to spend. I think I will review finances next and see what is happening...countdown to Christmas has started yay! And all presents purchased. Yay! Just the food to go! Which I need to cut down some.

Another enjoyable and productive day at the office, I am getting a warm reception and the work is great, I should be heading for 2 full weeks at £19 per hour pay! (£600) which will definetely help. I think I will have all of December paid for and depending on what I get next week and this week hours wise, plus how much I spend on Christmas food. Will determine if Jan is paid for as well, I think at this rate it will be, which gets me to February - Hopefully by then I will have a lodger.

I am being selective in my lodger choices, I know I did last time so I know it works, I may not have it sussed totally we shall see, but if it doesn't feel right I won't go with it, I'll just trust my gut!

As for the job I applied for I am still waiting to hear back, I believe the recruiter is away until Thursday, so if I hear back soon it won't be until tomorrow at the earliest.

    Have a good evening all.

Another day at the office, getting closer to finalising Year end and month end, I doubt there will be a full week of work next week but we shall see, I am getting manager to look over aged debtors tomorrow which looks a little messy and there will be a lot of work to do, but once done we will have an aged debtors to work with going forward and there is the task of credit control, I guess that will be work I can do, although there is not a huge number of items about 50, still enough to be getting on with.

I still have not heard back from the recruiter about the other job, but there is a micro chance I can get a job at the temp role, I don't know what I would be doing I just feel they like me a lot and may try and make a job for me or maybe they know of something becoming available, which I would snap up! Lets see what happens or is coming on the horizon.

All is well and wishing you the same.

We didn't get to the aged debtors so plenty of work for next week, I am still very keen and I heard from the boss that he would use me again, he did ask how much I would charge I wish I had said £30.00 per hour which is what the recruiter is charging as I think it is fair but I let the recruiter down and said £20.00 per hour, I deeply regret this because then the recruiter would not be used again they would go direct to me and I think he is good and charges a fair rate. Also I got the feeling that he thought I would charge less then £20ph if he went direct, which I did not agree with, however if it was regular work and I was an employee that would be different, I tried to get this point across, which he did seem to understand. All in all a very favourable contract.

Also I have heard from a job I applied for, they wanted some info which I have supplied, If I get an interview I won't hear back until next week now it is different to the one I mentioned before so now there is two irons in the fire so to speak. Wait and see mode.

All in all feeling very positive about the work front.

Finances I didn't spend yesterday, however I have rewarded myself today by splurging on a pile of food, which was very much enjoyed and saved cooking. I have a shop coming tomorrow and I have reduced it down to £100, the last one before the Xmas shop on the 24th!

Tonight the heavens opened and the drive was very dangerous and worrying on the way home so I was glad to get back, and now relax!

    Have a super weekend all.

Well I knocked off a couple of birds with one stone today...let me explain I won a hamper a while back and in the hamper it said if you would be so kind to return the basket. I tried returning this sometime ago but we couldn't meet up for whatever reason. However yesterday evening I received a lovely message saying that the the lady would be at the church today for a Christmas market, MD and I were talking about going to an xmas market, so MD and I went we had some lovely biscotti and drink and looked around a few stalls. I bought some speciality apple juice and sausage roll, Md got honey and stollen. It was not as impressive as the arts and crafts fair, as the lady running them both stipulated. But It was something a bit different. We were then planning to go to another event later, one of the lodgers was playing in a band.

We went back to MDs place for a bite to eat, then went to the event only not to be able to find it (which was secretly a good thing) because then when we had suitably spent a lot of time looking for it I suggested going to garden centre to finish off MDs Xmas shopping, it was a little manic but otherwise I was quite pleased to complete MDs Xmas shop, there will be a little more wrapping up to do but that is it, and boy is it easier this year...the previous years were hellish, so I am thankful that part is over.

We did talk about Christmas again, I said not to worry I have MD all year round, it will probably be nice for her to get a break from me and vice versa. So I have decided not to put up any decorations and I am going to do plenty of chores in the run up (so i'll enjoy my home more), I don't think that I will be needed much in the job beyond next week, so I will be able to enjoy the Christmas break somewhat, if not the festivities the R&R. Like I said get the place looking how I want to live and enjoy the time off and not having to be anywhere.

MD did say she would give me cash for Christmas I think will be about £350-£380, the same amount she is giving my other sister only hers is an ornament, the other sister got a car previously or cash for £6800 so won't be getting as much at Xmas time, but still has a few things to unwrap. With this cash figure in mind and what I spent today I will work out how long I can last without a lodger etc.

    Enjoy your evening.

I am at home all day today resting but also I really need to do some chores which I have been putting off so that I can rest with maximum enjoyment level. I hate to rest in a mess!

    So a trusty list: -

    1) Do the bedding

    2) get ready for hoovering - tidy up.

    3) Do bins

    4) Hoover

    5) put wash on.

    6) Mop

    7) dusting if i am up to it.

    8) Put washing away

    9) Reconvene and decide on the next plan for the day.

    Enjoy your day.

    Sometime later....

I am finishing there, there are other bits to do maybe later. Right now I want to think about lunch and also I want to do a major job search.
