I need a list to focus on, and to get back into some sort of routine....slippage allowed though cause tis still a Bank Holiday after all. 

Boxing Day Round 1

Shower 
Get dressed 
Put empty gift bags in Christmas drawer 
Feed the birds 
Put out the recycling 
Empty bins 
Put new bin bags in bins 
WUDUPA 

That's a bit of a framework to get me started. 

Hope you are all well and enjoyed your Christmas Day however you spent it.

Dishwasher emptied and restacked, fancy glasses washed, dried and put away.  Washing on line,  Shredder stripped down, onclogged, tested, reassembled, retested.  Now I need to vacuum the office.  This is not unconnected to the previous sentence.

Been and watched boxing day swim, mad all of them.

Lunched with DSis, DBiL, niece and nephew. Safely home now and DD is safely keeping a friend company for the night. In my comfies, presents put away, order is being slowly restored.

Well you know what I'm going to say.....yep, I had a swim this afternoon. Not part of an organised one, as that is Christmas Day in Southbourne and Bournemouth, but just on my own while Mr N and BIL went for a walk along the beach.  
In the morning after a couple of visits to Mum's room where she was asleep after the exertions of yesterday and breakfast, she woke up and was quite animated. She opened  presents from us, BIL and stepbrother, making sensible comments about everything. She then returned to the main lounge with us where there was an entertainer and was involved enough to join in the dancing with me - said she'd really enjoyed it, which of course made my day.

In the evening Mr N, BIL and I went on the bus to the local Christmas Tree Festival in the park.  Then it was my turn to cook; a tried and tested frittata with a Mr T magazine inspired sort of hot winter salad (lightly sauteed red cabbage and shavings of parsnip then mixed with blue cheese, walnuts and pear pieces) which seemed to work well. Lemon pudding with blueberries for dessert, so all fairly easy.    Now all tidied away as we set off home some time tomorrow. I have the house contract ready to sign, will get it witnessed by NDN who has asked us in for coffee in the morning so I'll visit Mum first.   Then it will be a reasonable level of flying round her house and start taking various personal items from around the house back to ours.

DWand WM locked and loaded.  The pegged out washing didn’t dry as a mist sort of came in.  Guest  room vacuumed following shredder fix. Recycling bins out at home and at work.
