Halifax Reward Slow Updates

Well, there's September for the usual £5 per account. Then in October, we can expect discussion on when to expect the terminal payoff amount and who has/hasn't received it. Anyone missing out on receiving the October terminal amount who is due it can expect to receive a good compensation from Halifax on complaint.danny13579 said:
Thankfully there's only one more month of this to go through. It's like groundhog day on here sometimes.goatfaced said:Thanks. I was considering starting off the usual monthly discussion this morning 😁5 -
Do we not need to do the £500 spend malarkey in September then? I might do it one last time just for safety. Credit cards will need paying either way!0

Yes, I think I got a bit ahead of myself with groundhog day delirium!Hattie627 said:Well, there's September for the usual £5 per account. September and October for the usual posts on the 12th-ish and then maybe more when they pay the outstanding £5s sometime in October. 0 -
Yes we do. I got a bit overexcited with the £5 monthly post.WillPS said:Do we not need to do the £500 spend malarkey in September then? I might do it one last time just for safety. Credit cards will need paying either way!0 -
I plan to do the £500 and the £1,500 until I can hear the Halifax's pips squeak. Then convert all accounts to non-Reward. Sounds right?

Depends... if Halifax do another change in the future which makes Reward accounts more attractive then there is no guarantee you'll be allowed to open more than one. If you have more than one already you might be allowed to keep them all. Halifax have form for this when they previously introduced a one-only limit.polymaff said:I plan to do the £500 and the £1,500 until I can hear the Halifax's pips squeak. Sounds right? For the sake of circulating £1500 through them once a month (which I do straight after doing the same for my Vantage accounts, so takes less than about a minute) I'm going to keep mine open and see what the future brings.0 -

between the two of us we have a fair few accounts, all or via one login each. £1500.00 in to account one and then transer from 1 to 2 to 3 etc then back to source account. can't take so long even if you have "many".polymaff said:Section62 said:

i'll be keeping my accounts as rewards just in case anything comes up in the future. having got an email yesterday to offer 12 months Disney+ for taking out some kind of policy, maybe insurance? offers may still be changed for the reward account, who knows? what i do know is if they are closed there's no way we'll get so many ever again.1 -
"If you pay in £1,500 or more each month you won’t pay the fee"Yet you've used transfers rather than pay ins?0
