The original ring was not practical to wear so it's nice to have the component parts in a different format. As a child, it was a special treat to be able to look at the ring in my nan's drawer although I never remember her wearing it. My Nan died when I was 8 but wearing this set today has brought back vivid happy memories of her.
KKI've chosen to do some more ostentificationing and I'm wearing a pink silky blouse today which I used to wear for work. Earrings are pink enamel and silver which my father in law always said were his favourite pieces of jewellery that I wore. So today I'll raise a virtual g&t to him.3 -
Missed a few days. In a nod to the advent yesterday I wore a (fake) fur collar to the tractor lights event. I don't think I have ever worn it and it has often been added to the donate pile then retrieved - so - if it is to live in the drawer it must be worn and loved. it was actually very flashy and toasty. I will wear it again.
At my desk so no jewellery but have a lovely pair of silver earrings for a trip out later.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

I stand by my general style ethos of looking like I've been dragged backwards through a jumble sale 😁

Off to a Christmas spectacular shortly so am wearing a thin top that says Let The Festivities Be Gin with lots of sparkles and actual jingly bells. Bought it 5 years ago and have never worn it as it’s quite thin and three quarter length sleeves so usually too cold to wear it. However as I plan to dance and sing my way through the concert I need something I’m not going to get too hot in 🎄🎄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I have a very bright pair of pink and blue earrings on today. Studs that I usually wear with bright summer things at festivals but today they are accompanying a tired but comfy green t shirt which is making me feel cossetted as I try and remain patient with my relatives.4

Today's advent jewellery is a gothic glam black bead necklace and black moon and star earrings. Will put a big ring on later too, to keep up the appropriate level of ostenting3
