I'm wearing a bracelet today that 2 of my granddaughters bought me. It's quite chunky a with lots of dangly bits so it tends to clunk into things during the day. It fell off the first and last time I wore it but luckily the restaurant phoned me to see if it was mine. So it's been consigned to its box but actually I've enjoyed wearing it and clattering around in it. The girls chose it for me with love and I shall appreciate their choice even though I might not have chosen it for myself.4

Does toothpaste really work to clean jewellery as I have some decades old that definitely unshining. If nothing else they would sell better if they shone.

I'm no authority @badmemory but it definitely worked on my silver earrings and with much less soreness for my achey joints than trying just with a silver cleaning cloth. Though as with all experiments, research first and try out on the piece you'd be least annoyed at turning into a bubbling green cauldron ingredient, just in case 😁

Hangs head in shame as not worn any jewellery or Christmas attire Tuesday to Thursday due to WFH and being in exercise clothing. However all is not lost as I proudly sported a Christmas jumper adorned with wine glasses and bauble shaped earrings to the office today. No one commented or batted an eyelid 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

My hairdresser yesterday was wearing Xmas tree earrings that were over 2 inches. I did ask her if she was reading this but she said not.

I’m wearing one of my NSFW (not suitable) pieces - a pewter pendant I had forgotten I had. It is a sun shape, which seems very appropriate for welcoming back the sun on solstice 😊 🌞 I am wearing the violane earrings again because their blue picks up the blue in the glass in the centre of the pendant and cools the red top I am wearing.I love this pendant - sorry the photo is a bit blurry 😊

My advent jewellery today is a diversion from the bits I'd chosen to choose from, as a lovely friend sent me a parcel of vintage silver and costume jewellery so I thought I'd start enjoying it straight away rather than 'save it', so today's piece is a silver and pink stone ring4

Re the versatile properties of toothpaste - as a teen I remember being told it was good for reducing the effect of a love bite. Obviously never tried it myself 😍.Going to a local football match this afternoon - very old style standing only stadium with a tea stall and half time raffle. I've decided to accessorise my numerous warm layers of clothing, hat, gloves and scarf with some gold and diamond (effect) ear climber earrings. I haven't worn these for ages but they are very effective and I'm glad I'm enjoying them again.4
