angeldelight01 said:Gr1pr- thanks, I am new to this. Never been in a situation like this before- hence all the questions. I am really grateful for all the advice you have/are all giving me.
Whenever I have had a parking ticket in the past- I’ve had a few- I have either had something stuck to my window/in the post, and paid it straight away. It angers/frustrates me that, having read so many posts about these companies over the last few days they don’t appear to be regulated AT all!!!3 -
Keep us updated @angeldelight01 I am going to be sending a delay email same as you - mine expires in Feb!!

Update- Hi all, so I sent an email to DCBL by the deadline they gave me. Not sooner or later. Even though I used their reference in the email subject heading, they came back asking me for my name, address, d.o.b etc for “data protection purposes” I responded asking them why they required this info when I had provided the reference they had given and I am still awaiting a response from them. They do stipulate that if you don’t receive a response from them “not to re-send the email” so I am leaving until I hear back.0

Please sign this petition demanding the re-launch of a Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice. 🙏https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/701453
We need to add our voices to the group of MPs, Parking Steering Group (Coupon-mad sits on) in calling for statutory regulation for the private parking industry. The present voluntary measures are failing to protect us.3 -

Did you attach a utility bill or partially covered driving licence, to prove you are the right data subject and the new address?
Did you prove your name change too?
To them, I'd suggest that the random person emailing them out of the blue looks like a complete stranger to the matter. They can safely ignore you and hand the file to DCB Legal to file a claim to your 2019 address. You'll hear about it after, when HCEOs (bailiffs) knock on your new address door out of the blue one morning in the Summer and clamp your car, demanding over six grand.
I see that this is a case involving some 30 PCNs worth £5000 so you must do this right and cannot muck about or play games when they asked for further data subject proof. You can't sit and wait.
There was no reason for you not to prove who you are and quoting their ref is NOT ENOUGH. Especially given you now have a different surname and different postal address.
YOU MUST RESPOND AND PROVE YOU ARE THE SAME PERSON.
YOU ARE RISKING A CCJ AND BAILIFFS IN THE END (THIS YEAR) IF YOU DON'T CONVINCE THEM TO ERASE THE OLD ADDRESS.All the PCN’s are dated between Jan-Dec 2019.You will only manage to successfully "time them out" on most/all of the PCNs if you do this properly. Get back in touch. No phoning them. Do not tip them off about the six year limitation period, obviously!
DO NOT SIT AND WAIT.
YOUR MONETARY RISK IS FAR TOO HIGH TO PLAY GAMES.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon-mad- I’m not “sitting and waiting” it’s taking them weeks to respond and they stipulate that people are not to re-send emails.
Whats to stop them, being the scum that they are, claiming I have not contacted them at all and just claiming from the 2019 address anyway. Like they are going to claim (without any proof, other than a copy of a ticket which has never been sent and sat in their office since it was issued) that they notified me of these tickets before the 28 day deadline.0 -

Please respond to them tomorrow.
I did say in my reply above:
"They can safely ignore you and hand the file to DCB Legal to file a claim to your 2019 address."
Which 100% matches what you just said. We are on the same page, only you don't seem to have seen the danger here, yet.
That may have already happened (the case could already be at LBC stage with that having gone to the old address) and all because you are currently presenting as a stranger (different name and address) and it reads as though you haven't proved you are the same data subject as OLD NAME at OLD ADDRESS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Since when did any sensible person listen to a PPC 'stipulating"
Resend anything you want to/need to as often as is necessary.2 -
Update: So I have now sent seven emails and STILL have not received a response from them. Should I just continue to send/wait for a response?0
