If it was me I'd probably count it, but then I try to group these sorts of purchases together on spendy days so I also always have more than one expense. It's not a frivolous, wasteful or unwarranted spend and it's probably similar enough to fuel in that you need tyres to get from A to B, so it's probably OK to still call it an NSD. xx1

Not today. Came across a permaculture calendar that was well reviewed today and as 2025 is going to be the year I dedicate to my garden it seemed right. Also bought a diamond sharpener for the Hori Hori I am picking up tomorrow (the Hori Hori won’t count as a spend though as I earned unwanted cash that I will use for this purchase … long story … 😉).
KKAs at 15.07.25:
- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £233,521
- OPs to mortgage = £11,338 Interest saved £5225 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends January 2030
Read 40 books of target 52 in 2025, as @ 29th July

Saturday and Sunday will be spending days as I am doing a very secretive project and I need materials which I may or may not disclose in the future.2
