I was up at 6. Again. Heyho.

I'm up, made my bed, completed Wordle in six (phew!), completed Connections with three lives lost,  completed Strands with one hint needed, taken my meds, turned over all the calendars,  and supped my first brew. 

Yesterday afternoon I wrote on a few more Christmas cards, ticked off another Christmas present that arrived, recycled the packaging, and went to see Pops and Babs, taking Pops his 2025 calendar with big numbers, unwrapped my 2025 calendar. 

Another brew required then

To Do Today List 
Get dressed 
Feed the birds 
Put out the recycling 
Laundry shuffle 
Write some Christmas cards 
Pick up repeat prescription 
Write up December plan ***

*** must do that today. So much going on that I'm liable to forget something, what better day to do it than 1st December?

Just complete the first day of the advent jigsaw!! I'm odd days, OH is even days, I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea !!! very hard................

Back in bed now for an hour or so. Then must get up and put the SC on, stew today.

Last night with friends was lovely, lots of reminiscing (including the time I set the laboratory on fire) and laughs, and memories of some good colleagues no longer with us.  

Today I have to pop into work to print some stuff I need tonight (promoting our re opening cafe).

WM x 1 to be removed and folded.  Decorator coming to quote, I hope.

Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits. 3 times for good luck.
I managed to achieve quite a lot from my lists yesterday, the biggest achievement being reducing the many lists down to a few lines. The box mountain has been unpacked, inspected and sorted out. Everything is in the spare room, which is now not ideal as DSiL x 2 are coming to stay next weekend, and very unhelpfully they are expecting a bed! So the boxes will have to move to….somewhere. I wrote most of the cards from the dwindling recipient list as well as clearing the ironing pile (mainly so that I could get the box contents into the same room!). Am I boring you all yet 🤣.
so today - wm x 1 has just finished, the plan was to go to the allotment to pick / dig some veg, but it is drizzling and unpleasant outside. Meal plan to be done, Mr M order for next week to be finalised. I am working 5 days this coming week, which will be a shock to the system. But the reward is a 3 day week on the following week, so not all bad.
Right, empty the wm and drape the washing. Have a good day all x

All Christmas cards now written. All Dec and Jan birthday cards are written. 

Had a visit from DS and he's taken their Advent calendars and an early Christmas present to hang on their tree - First Christmas as Mr and Mrs **** tree decoration 😍. P & S will take their Advent calendars when they call tomorrow. It slowly coming together....
