Morning all,
Belated happy birthday to Iona x
Well, I seemed to lose the week after Tuesday, but I obviously achieved something from my lists - I have Mount Boxmore in the hallway, and I think that I am pretty much Christmassed. I have started the card writing and flylady cards are on their way to the PO as I type.
I have had night after night of pretty rubbish sleep, not sure why. But taking a leaf out of Round’s (probably very pretty 😊) notebook, I am going to crack on this morning. Starting with a list of the lists.Wm has just finished swishing. I have taken DD’s car out for a spin. I have a cuppa in front of me, notebook and pencil at the ready. Unpacking the Mount would seem like a good job to be at the top of the list.
Have a lovely day all x5 -

I've unboxed some cans of pop and recycled the cardboard. Taken my Christmas t shirt upstairs and disposed of the packaging.
Just having 5 minutes - pausing to see where I'm at.

Nice start to the day had a long sleep with no alarm waking me up and it's sunny outside (probably still very cold).
My list for today
Complete uni assignment
Do some exam revision
Take the dog for a long walk
Laundry x 3 loads
Check banking and direct debits
Schedule the festive food shopping (I need to get this done as it has been on my list for a few days).
Give animals their worming treatment
Wash up dishes, dry and put away
I think that is everything that I need to get completed today, I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.5 -
Ironing done and airing, washing on line, WUALTD. I'm out tonight with former work colleagues (from the job I left when DD was born). Work outing from last work was mentioned but nobody has been in touch with details, so I'll not hold my breath.
What I NEED to do is update my banking spreadsheet...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello all. Busy day here. Dailies, dog walk, hoovered through, two wash loads now on airer, admin, errand run and I've been to village fair. Just about to go and pick up a takeaway, it's months since we had one.Spend less now, work less later.4

The day started a bit misty and looked cold, so I swam a little later than usual as I was without swim buddies to meet. Glad I went but although the sun came out now and then, the water was only 6 degrees in the lake so is beginning to feel a bit chilly. Definitely a day of warmer out than in! but pleased to see the fairies (long-tailed tits) flitting around while I was getting changed in the car park.
- got a couple of items from L1d1 on my way home including a birthday card which I wrote and immediately posted.
- did a fair bit of tidying in the garden, mainly raking leaves and picking up prunings left over from the tree surgeon.
- wudupa
- one load through DW
- checked the house sales documents which DB had completed, emailed him with a few queries, had a phone chat later to clarify. Pleased to hear that he had a good visit with Mum yesterday; she is ok about the house sale and was generally more proactive in conversations, agreed a couple of ornaments she would like us to bring in from the house.
- wrote a few more Christmas cards. Cut up an old box to make dividers to the cards so they can be easily 'filed' when written into 'local', 'post UK', 'post abroad', 'gym' etc. OCD or what, but it makes life a lot easier and prevents a helpful Mr N whacking stamps on everything and posting them without noticing the envelope might just say 'Sue gym' ......it has happened.....
- started writing a to-do list for when we are down at Mum's next weekend. We have a busy social week this week so need to get organised.
- filled bird feeders.
Mr N has finished putting up the new, much improved coat hooks, has ordered dowelling for the pan shelving and started marking up the shelf size/shape for my 'coffee bar'.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.5
