My list for today

Laundry pegged out, Wren walked, roast veggie soup made with leftovers from Sunday and most of it frozen, plus a tortilla thing with left over chips from Friday and ham to go with the soup for lunch.Currently at my desk trying to catch up on months of paperwork that is all overdue. I normally have to draw up a booking chart for the theatre digs about six months ahead of each new year - panto musicians are engaged in June, but the trumpeter we've had staying here for years got married a couple of months ago so she's having a year off. This year I've drawn it up today, and not because we've got any bookings but because Belovéd is producing a play in April and he needs the rooms for his actors etc. Theatre digs have never really recovered from the pandemic and having done it for over 30 years I thought I'd be sad when it all started to wind down but we've discovered that we quite like having the house to ourselves after all. (I met Belovéd in my own sitting room at a party thrown by a couple of actors who were staying here, so it's all we've ever known together.)I've also dusted the bathroom which is a job I particularly hate but it's done now so I'm feeling virtuous.Better is good enough.5

Copied from the previous thread as I've only just seen the reply. @SandyShoresSandyShores said:Morning all, thank you for the welcome.
Started yesterday by sorting out the pile of papers that were gathering dust on the bedside table. Ended up with a recycling pile, a selection going into the 'filing drawer' (managed to squish it in), and there's a few bits left needing something doing with.
Started by contacting the docs and I also have a prescription to pick up now, as well as those few bits of paper.
Not much flying yesterday as it was a wfh day but I got out and walked in the drizzle, otherwise I'd feel awful in the evening. MrShores cooked dinner and cleaned as he went, watched the last two episodes of a box set, then I did a final clear down of the kitchen before bedtime.
I know I've got some washing to deal with today, and I want to give both bedside tables a proper wipe down. The sideboard in the hall needs sorting too, and I'd like to hoover the hall, stairs, landing and lounge (and at some point this week defrost the freezer).
ps @Cloth_of_Gold I haven't ever dealt with moths but some advice here re. bringing in some little wasps that eat them: Identifying and Treating Clothes Wasps Parasitic Moths - I had to check that it wasn't April Fools but it looks like a really good solution.
Thanks for that. It's not cheap trying to deal with moths is it? Cheaper than constantly buying new clothes though. I liked this from the website you linked to:"If you have Clothes Moth emerging from carpets, avoid hoovering entirely for 7-10 days after introduction of our Moth Egg Killer Sachets and reduce hoovering to a minimum for 3 weeks after application of sachet."
That won't be difficult for me.
Did quite a bit of flying at the weekend (cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and vac'd around and did some washing and drying. So far this week, not so miuch, although today I have done some washing and drying and a cojuple pof days ago I even ironed 3 shirts (I had to think hard to remember how to do that.
)
Nothing else to report at the moment.

Morning. Wordle in three.
Paid stuff soon but I do intend to fly again today, honest!
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections in two minutes with no lives lost, and completed Strands with two hints. And it's still only just after 7 am.
It was very q-word at work yesterday so I asked DS and DDil for their Amazon wish lists and did some Christmas shopping online.
Parcel didn't arrive at the PO until after I'd got home yesterday. So I'll pick that up on my way home tonight and buy euros to put in Pops' birthday card....which I haven't got yet. 🙃
Have a good day.
Happy Thanksgiving Day (I think 🤔)
