Me again. Just two lines on connections. Like Iona it was a bit too American for me. Strands with three hints.
I have changed the sofa throws, changed bedding, done dailies and admin and hoovered through. Had a lovely walk for over an hour in the sunshine with Poppet. Fourth wash load is currently in machine. DH has strict instructions to put in load five while I'm out at exercise class. It doesn't cost much in electricity while the sun is out. Later I'm going to browse some shops and go to podiatrist appointment.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Finally, I’ve got on here. Thank you for the lists, I am going to try my utmost.
Busy day, started with lists, and lists of lists. DH had a hospital appointment at 9am, for which I was taxi. Just before we left, the hospital phoned. Could they move it to 3pm. Much muttering from me, as I had planned my day. Re-jigged the lists, so today I have, in no particular order…
run wm x 1, sorted clean washing and put away
stripped the bedding for running wm tomorrow, and remade the bed
dusted and vacc’d upstairs, and washed vacuum head, almost as per the list for once
cleaned the bathroom
ordered a couple of presents, got inspiration for another one that I will order in a minute
paid my credit card bill
had a focussed hour in small town (including a nice chat with the lady in the wool shop - I came dangerously close to buying more wool, but resisted at the last minute), ticked off a couple of presents from the cs, dropped a bag of clothes and books into the same, got some cards and wrap all half price. Everything was on my list, no deviations.
Still to do - make a chicken and leek pie with LO roast chicken, order 2 presents, start on Christmas card writing. Funnily enough the HH admin might have to wait…

Masses of five minute jobs done, another Wren puddle cleared up, one load of washing draped over the line and bought back in at sunset not much dryer than when it went out but it'll dry overnight in the house, big pile of presents for Belovéd wrapped, 2025 diary filled in.I'm very tired of Wren's puddles and it happened after I put her out several times so it wasn't that she hadn't had the opportunity to do the right thing. She gets sort of hysterical which can be that she's hungry, she needs a pee, she needs a pooh, anything - but it almost always results in a puddle despite me doing all the right things. I think there's a trigger from her old life that I just can't figure out. Anyway, tomorrow's forecast is looking dry-ish after another wet night so I'll put a load on tonight and peg it out in the morning.Better is good enough.6

well when 'we' get a letter changing the appointment time 'we' won't bother to inform the person who's doing the driving...I mean why bother...
so we got there early and dad moaned about being early, sneezed, moaned he was likely to catch something from all the people in the waiting room at which point I pointed out HE was the one sneezing and he could have stayed home. Mum was a sweetheart and answered all the questions appropriately if inaccurately. My 'it's not skin cancer' comment turned out to be quite correct...

two rabbit hutches cleaned, washing line dried, kitchen cleaned, bathroom cleaned, cottage pie made for tea, binbag dance done and recycling all out.

Well done Valli, it sounds like you have had quite a day. I am taking DS1 to hospital next Wednesday to see the consultant. I am fairly certain that he has stopped his medication given that his injection pens get delivered to our house and there are 6 in our fridge. He "didn't need them" last time I asked him. I am also fairly certain that he is not supposed to just stop injecting himself. I need to persuade him to be honest with the consultant. That may be difficult.
Funny day today, couldnt get motivated at work, been for a facial, have changed our bed and DH put the WM on. I hoovered downstairs yesterday and cleaned the fire out. Early night I think.

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, yada yada. Groundhog Day 😉
Survived yesterday at work though I didn't feel 'right' all day. Not ill, but not well. Took parrots which helped a little. Lots of people full of cold in the building so maybe I'm fighting something off. 👊
I needed two hints to complete Strands, completed Wordle in five (too many options), and whizzed through Connections today - after only managing two lines yesterday.
After work today I need to call at PO to pick up a parcel and I'll buy the euros to put in Pops' birthday card. That'll he another tick on my to do list. Not flying but still needs doing.
Have a good day.

Was that rage cleaning Valli? (((Hugs)))Whizzed through Strands, Wordle in five, completely stumped by Connections.WM loaded and set going, tea made. Wren had to be bribed to go out first thing. She has a thin coat and I suspect she's reluctant to go out because she doesn't like getting cold and wet. Either way, it's irritating.Better is good enough.6

No, Honey Bear… I find i like to clean on bright days, I can have the doors open for drying out purposes. to be honest it was desperately-needed cleaning. 🤣 There was a fair bit of putting away to do, too.
Paid stuff today.
WM x 1, DW x 1 and TD x 1 (drying towels)
